general appearance: She is around five foot two, with raven black hair, and a rich, smooth olive skin tone. Her hair is long, stopping at the small of her back. She generally keeps it in a braid, for convenience, because when she is hunting, it could get tangled in the wind, and she would have to spend the next two hours teasing it out. She has wide doe brown eyes, and smooth, arching eyebrows. She has high cheekbones, and a straight nose. She has wide lips and a small scar on her face from where she was changed.

She wears convenient clothing, typically cargo khaki’s, and a long-sleeved sand colored shirt, with tan gloves, and some sort of sand colored headwear. Robes finish this outfit, a light brown in color. She wears boots instead of sandals. She doesn’t wear much jewelry, usually just a bracelet that Benjamin gave her, and a simple necklace, nor does she wear makeup.

history: Tia came from a very large family with many children. Her mother was overwhelmed and financially distraught, and so started placing her children into the care of her second cousin (Benjamin's great uncle) when she could not feed them. Tia was 5 years old when she was given up.

She had a good singing voice and nimble fingers, so her uncle kept her with him. When she was 7 she met Benjamin, and although he was 3 years older than her, they became close friends. Tia was turned into a vampire at the age of 17 by Benjamin, and she became his mate.

She cannot remember much from her life before she was a vampire, just a few flashes, her dad hitting her mom, her brother getting hit by a carriage, earning her first book, reading her first book. These memories are the ones that stand out the most in her mind. Other than that, she can only remember, and not many at that. When she was turned, she can remember the overwhelming thirst that had her doing nothing but hunt.
