dislikes: Garrett dislikes the powers that be, believing modern rulers to be corrupt which is another thing he loaths, coruption and also weakness. He also dislikes the mistreatment of the world and in turn hates technology and how it has developed amongst human for them to kill each other. His hate of technology extends to the poing of believing that humans medicine is an attempt to prolong their life to find meaning and which he values this he does not like the way humanity feels the need to mess with nature and the adventures it offers. Garrett is a very free spirit. He is all about freedom and adventure, constantly wanting to test himself against the most dangerous challenges, he is fiercly loyal and forgiving to his friends and he will stand by them to the end of his life.

His attachement to the Denali clan grows stronger daily but he still feels like an out cast amongst them, preferring to seek the solace of the forest to be free, he loves his mate fiercly but he cannot abide being in one place long, it grates upon his nerves and makes him irritable.

history:
Garrett was born into a stable family, his parents unlike most during the age had committed to a marriage of love and so had sired Garrett. Over the years of his childhood Garrett's father raised him to fight for freedoms that were denied to those oppressed and so when he came of age and the civil war began he sided with the freedom fighters.

Garrett was bitten after a battle when his regimental squad stumbled across a wild vampire who knocked Garrett unconcious as he leapt forwards, thrusting with his pike. When the vampire had gourged herself on the 8 others in Garrett's group she came to Garrett and found she was saited and so only took a pint from Garrett, leaving him to burn in the field. It took several months before Garrett understood what he was and then it was too late, he had already began feeding off humans. So he took his adventorous spirit and tried his best to experience everything he possibly could.

It was when he was called to witness for the Cullens and Reneesme that his immortal life changed. He met Kate whose power interest him greatly and slowly they both came to realise they were mates. When the Volturi actually arrived to eradicate the Covens amassed to defend the Cullens Garrett told Kate he would follow her anyhere and he also gave an inspiring speech which swung many of the Volturi's witnesses and then he prepared to fight. This sudden upheaval meant that when the Denali Coven left after the confrontation to grieve Garret went with them and he has been trying to intergrate with their lifestyle ever since.
