She has a child herself from her days as a human, when the vampire who turned her lay with her in south america, she has created a new born whom she lost control of and then she fled in the hopes the Volturi, who had just fallen, would not know. She also killed one of the Volturi's agents who was sent to find out more about the nomads who were rumored to be rebelling, which turned out to be the pure ones though Lydia didn't know this

Lydia is a bright cheery woman when she has company she enjoys, she is fiercely loyal and she will do anything for her friends. She has never really lost her innocent girly side and this has left her naive and she could easily be fooled.

She will do anything to live a peaceful life in the shadows but she refuses to step out of her career even if it is a great risk to exposing what she is, she has very good self control for one so young but it does not match up to her elders. She feels great guilt when ever she feeds because she was once a human and she pities their ignorance.

history:
Lydia was born to a loyal family who loved her and spent so much money on her, even more than her siblings. She was loved by them all. Her family lived in brazil at the time of her birth in their mothers home town Rio De Janeiro. She grew up immersed in both the culture of Brazil and also the British culture where her father was from.

She grew up learning to accept everyone, she grew up with cameras around her mother who was a super model in her day, she helped her daughter to integrate into the spot light without losing herself or her compassion.

When Lydia reached the age of 15 her mother offered her a chance to take part in a modeling competition and Lydia graciously took up the chance and with ease reached 1st place and secured her contract, this was the beginning of the end for her human life. After 4 years she met a vampire named Thier, he treated her like she was special and soon she fell into his trap and one night, her nineteenth birthday they slept together and she woke to find her body coated in bruises and him cooking for her. After only two days he revealed his true nature to her but she didn't care, that was until she realized she was pregnant, it took only a month for her to be on the operating table having her baby cut out of her by him at midnight and then she burned for seven days as she turned into a vampire.

When she awake with the burning thirst he had left her, her daughter and two unconscious doctors, she gorged herself before she realized what had actually happened and then her life became a blur of hunting and trying to raise her daughter the way she was raised until one night she left her daughter with her parents, including a note explaining some of what had happened the rest of her life has been spent longing for her daughter and a coven so that she could actually care for her daughter in a safe situation.
