general appearance:
Adia is a short girl, standing at 5’3” with a slim but curvy build. She has long blond hair that she styles differently depending on her mood and how bored she is, though in its natural form it is curly. She has pale skin, but it’s not as pale as a vampire’s skin. It shimmers only slightly in the sun, enough to let a human see something different about her, but not enough to give her away on sunny days, which is good because Adia loves the sun. She has hazel eyes that she plays up with eyeliner and other eye makeup. She’s been known to mix and match clothing styles and she loves dressing up and wearing dresses. She likes both black and white and color, so her clothing generally mimics her mood for that day.

Vain:
Vain is a good way to describe Adia. She likes the way she looks and she does just about anything to stay looking the best. She’s in love with the slight shimmer of her skin and thinks it’s even prettier than the sparkle of a vampire’s. She loves her hazel eyes and is thankful for that human portion of her that gave her those eyes because they allow her to fit in more with other humans. She thinks her hair is pretty and plays with the style of it when she gets bored. She likes dressing up and being adored.

Jealous:
Adia gets very jealous very easily, which is part of the reason she’s afraid to fall in love. She knows she gets jealous, but she can’t help it. It usually results when she jumps to conclusions about something. She can be slightly paranoid, which also leads to her jealousy. She can be jealous of anyone who has more power than she has. She also thinks that she should have more than one power, and wishes she had every power imaginable.

Attitude:
This hybrid has a bit of an attitude problem. She’s very moody and is often thought to have bipolar disorder except that her moods switch too fast. She can be completely brutal and merciless, and she can also be a total sweetheart. It is through her looks and attitude that she can also become very persuasive. She’s not always heartless, but she can appear to be quite cruel. When it comes to relationships, she’s used to having short ones or a few people who she goes out with regularly. She has been in a few open relationships, which are great for her, but she gets too jealous when she sees the other person with someone else. She can be very manipulative when it comes to relationships, and has been known to use people to get what she wants.

Helena was only awake for a few moments after Adia was born. Adia was already aware of her name and knew that she wasn’t like her mother. She was incredibly smart within the short time that she was being carried by Helena. She knew she was different - not human, or at least, not all human, but she didn’t know what that meant until later in her life. She came out with a full head of blond hair and beautiful hazel eyes. She was the spitting image of her mother, with the enhanced features of her father. Her mother died shortly after seeing her and Adia didn’t know her father, all she had was his name and his voice, muffled through the skin and muscle of her mother’s body.

She grew up in seven years, which meant she had to move around constantly. She had a few human families, but always ran away before they could realize how fast she was growing. Sometimes, she fed on them. She learned that she was not venomous, but her bite still caused pain because of her sharp, but normal-looking teeth. This way, she would get meals and clothing, but she had to eat human food at times to keep up the appearance of being nothing unusual.

For a long time, she was afraid that she would age so quickly that she would have just a fraction of the life a human had. But when she turned seven and reached the apparent age of sixteen, her growing stopped. She didn’t realize she had stopped growing until a few years later when her appearance hadn’t changed in the slightest. Adia was overjoyed to say the least. She began to practice fighting, deciding that she wanted to kill her father for putting her through that scare and for killing the mother she loved dearly. She had nothing against vampires; she actually met and liked a lot of them, but she didn’t like her father for what he had done. And he left her there to fend for herself.

Adia grew into a beautiful girl. She began to use her strengths. At an early age she realized she could move objects with her mind. If she wanted a bowl, she could make the bowl move just by wanting it to. Larger items were harder of course and it took a lot out of her. She assumed that this was inherited from her father, probably the only good thing he had done for her was give her the vampire abilities she possessed. She joined the Volturi as a temp when she thought the Volturi could do some good, but left as peacefully as possible when she got tired of doing someone else’s bidding. This was way before the Volturi went to Forks and the Bella issue started.

The blond lived mostly on her own for the majority of her existence. She joined the Pure Ones in the hope that she could do something to make a difference, though she doesn’t necessarily care if it’s a good or a bad difference.
