Bree can be one of the hardest people to read when you are getting to know her. She is a background kind of person who does everything that she can to not be noticed. She has a habit of blending in to the best of her abilties even if they are just starting to grow. It stems from when she had been human and her father would abuse her. She learned to stay out of his way until she would run away and then when she was changed it became a stronger part of her life. She is very easy to miss at times until she gets to know and then trusts you then she changes and talks more. But it takes awhile to get that far and even then she can be quiet.

Ever since joining the Cullen family though she has slowly started to come out of her shell more and more though. The kindness that has come from them though she has bonded with them all she almost clings to Esme more then anyone in the family. She spends most of her time with Esme or one of other females. When she is around men she often has trouble being around men due to her past she likes to disappear into her room when most of the males and avoids them when possible. The one person she has slowly adjusted to is Carlisle whose warm nature has made her comfortable with them. Due to never really knowing her mother and her fathers abuse she has found the Cullen family to be the best family she has had. As time has passed in four years she is making the change to animal blood and finds it to be a better suited feeling…though she dislikes being a vampire she is adjusting slowly.

history: Bree was born to Tim and Tina Tanner when they were just out of college and the two thought that they were in love. When Bree was little her mother would disappear unknown to her that her father would have her killed and then buried in the desert. As she grew up the abuse would start and she would often be beaten where she could not go to school for a few days. After the third time her father decided that home schooling was the best course so that she would not tell anyone what was going on. By the time that she was sixteen she would have enough and run away from home. What she would never find out is that less then three days later the cops came and asked where Tina and Bree were…without a way to provide prof her father was sent to jail and convicted of murder.

She wound have many tests on her faith and decision to stay gone. She would steal for food and often have to stay in shelters when it became dark. When it became where she didn’t think that she would pass in a shelter to long she would find a box outside and sleep in it as best she could often findinig herself sick. Three months in one night she would be out and about trying to find dinner when she would meet Riley who offered her what might as well have been a feast…a fresh cheeseburger. When she accepted she would have no idea how much her life would change. That night when she fell asleep Riley came back and bit her. The next three days would be agony for her as the change happened and when she awoke she wound be surrounded by many other vampires.

Over the next few months she would stay hidden mostly behind another vampire named Fred. Wanting to stay as small as possible she tried to avoid being noticed. Then one day when she was out on a hunt she would meet Diego and felt a attraction to him. The two would become close friends and even though she was careful around him she soon found herself falling in love with him. This was stopped though when he went missing though after he went to tell Riley they were being lied to. Over the next few months Bree would find herself in denial and hurting but their was one person who would comfort her in his own way named Fred. She was the only person that he had ever allowed close to him and the two would bond. Realizing what was happening they planned to escape but Bree still feeling blind said she would stay and get Diego and meet Fred. The next day she would go onto the battle field and realize he was gone…killed by Victoria and immediately surrendered. After the battle she would be the only one left and that was soon in question when the Volturi showed up. Watching as the Cullen family pleaded that she be allowed to live scared her but also she was set in her fate if they wanted to kill her she would not fight. Much to her shock they allowed her to live and left and she soon joined the family.

Over the next four years she would watch as Nessie was born and instantly attached to her as a sister. Even being there once again when the Volturi would come for their head she was left alone and the family was left at peace. Even though Bree quickly bonded with Esme and Carlisle the one person that she sought out was Jasper wanting to learn from him. At first resistant the two butted heads more then one time as he did not trust her to be around his family but over time she bonded with him and Alice. One night on a hunting trip with Jasper he asked if she would like to be his daughter…. Feeling something that she had not before she accepted and has grown to love them both a lot. Over the past few months while at home she has started to call Jasper dad and Alice her mom though while in public she understands that she is to be Alice’s cousin that the Cullen family took in and accepts this role. Though she had once hated the life of a vampire…she finds herself slowly and happily adjusting to it.

Closing her eyes as she walked out of her room her feet barely making a sound as she almost floated across the hallway. She had been busy the past hour in her room doing homework. With the changes that had come with being a vampire she found herself less and less challenged as she could remember at a greater pace then when she had been human. The adjustments were coming slowly now and though she was still fairly new to the family and the vampire world she was slowly feeling something that she and for the first time in her young and damned life…happy. Things had been hectic when she had first joined the family including a rough start with Jasper but she had grown to love the man in many ways he had been the strength that she had needed to make it through the worst parts of being a vampire.

Wandering downstairs she didn’t notice anyone else in the house. She had stayed home from school after not feeding. She was planning to head out with Jasper when he was able to and was almost eager. The more time that she spent with him the more she realized one thing that as a adoptive father…he was better then her own had ever been and was getting to the point of clinging to him wanting to at least make one person that was family proud of her. Closing her eyes she shook her head to clear it and sat down on the couch and stretched out on the couch and turned on the TV and turned it to one of her favorite shows. She had watched it when she had been human but during the time that she had been with the army and then the adjustment she had long ago lost track of the plot and hoped to ask Esme for it for Christmas when the time came.

She lost track of time on how long she had been there and had closed her eyes to relax when she heard someone driving up the drive way. The sound of the motor brought a smile to her face as she sat up and stretched. As the door opened she was not surprised to see Jasper “hey Dad” a small smile coming to her lips. At least now they could be around each other more as he understood almost better then anyone else what she was going through which was a blessing and a curse as she watched him “how was your day?” she asked and grinned happily at him. It was the fact that he always pushed her hard
