"You truly are one frightening little monster."
~Jasper Hale~
character full name: Carlisle Ignotus Cullen
alias: Dr Fang - Jacob
age: 370/32
birthday: 29th Feb 1640
affiliation: Head of the Olympic Coven
status: vegetarian vampire
"I'd noticed that his eyes were black - coal black."
~Isabella Swan~
~Isabella Swan~
eyes: Carlisle’s eyes are a golden colour due to feeding on animals. They are only dark when he is hungry but he usually ensures he is well fed. They always emanate his compassionate nature even when he’s annoyed.
hair: Carlisle has short very very blonde hair that has a kind of spiky appearance. It requires minimal upkeep but it is always seemingly perfect to the human eye and not a hair is ever out of place.
height: five foot eleven
weight: 10 stone
distinguishing features: Just his bite mark on his upper arm where he was bitten the first time.
general appearance: It is often commented on by humans that Carlisle is a handsome, if not pretty man. More than once he has overheard colleagues and gossiping females in the street asking each other if he was a model – in fact he has been asked more than once if he wanted to be one by scouting agencies. His face of course is free of wrinkles and is very pale and smooth like the rest of his skin.
Carlisle is lean but not too thin and is well muscled. He was toned before he died and so remains as such. He is usually seen in hospital gear or suits, and the odd occasion jeans. Carlisle does not wear joggers or shell suits or anything like that. His appearance is usually very formal unless he is playing baseball or participating in some other active activity that requires easy movement from his limbs.
Like all vampires his hands are very cold which he writes off as being part of being a doctor working in an often frigid hospital – his office is freezing, or so he claims. His fingers are long and slender and extremely steady.
"I will always tell you the truth."
~Alice Cullen~
~Alice Cullen~
likes: Esme: she is the love of his life and there is nothing he needs more than her. The rest of his family all take a special place in his heart.
his family: He needs and values them all – every single one. He values Rosalie, his first daughter, who is so strong and yet so fragile. He values Edward his first son and his second in command who can lose his way from time to time but always manages to find his way back to his true core. He values Alice for her quirkiness and yes her power too, but just for being her too. And Jasper, the one who struggles most yet he finds so inspiring because he keeps going against the odds, fighting no matter how much it hurts. He loves Emmett’s easy going nature and his ability to forgive and forget and move on. And there’s Bella of course, Renesmee, Jacob and the pack, who whether they like it or not, are becoming Carlisle’s friends and family.
Healing: Carlisle loves healing. He has loved it most of his life and has wanted nothing more than to make others better.
, being a doctor,
living as a human: he doesn’t want to be a monster and never has and so he has striven to rid himself of all animalistic urges. He has been told he is unlike any vampire out there and he takes it as a compliment. He may be too soft. His compassion may be his downfall but he’d rather die for being nice than being evil.
Charlie: He was always nice to him and his family even when others weren’t. Charlie’s a good man and Carlisle values him as a friend and as a human.
the shape shifters: They are intruiging to say the least. Carlisle wishes he could study them more closely, merely for curiosity.
new discoveries: Carlisle likes learning and always will so discovering new things always peaks his interest. It can keep him entertained for weeks if he’s lucky.
, learning
Suits
, encouraging his family: He likes that they need him, but he likes it when they don’t too because it means they are learning the things he is trying to teach them. He never wants them to leave but knows there may come a time when they want to, or have to. It makes him sad but it may be necessary. Every father has to let their children go at some point.
doing his best and succeeding,
being as close to human as possible
, academia and travelling: He likes reading and learning and seeing the world. He likes moving to new places and seeing the cloudy parts of America. He can’t say it hasn’t been interesting over the years.
Seeing his family happy
Seeing his family succeed: sometimes they feel like they can’t and so Carlisle helps them along but he knows in his heart that they can do it if they try.
Helping others: : It doesn’t matter if they have been mean to him in the past, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to help. Carlisle has no ulterior motive and that is a rare thing in a human and even rarer in a vampire.
Gaining new family members
dislikes: Being a monster: Part of him feels that he is though he keeps that to himself. He can’t have his family knowing that that is how he feels because they might lose faith and he has be to strong for them. He learned over the years that it is not what you are but what you do with your life that defines you. He can’t be a monster: he heals people and that is a good thing.
people threatening his family: he just wants his family safe and happy no matter what. It angers him when people threaten his loved ones.
the Volturi lifestyle: The nomads Carlisle might disagree with but he does respect them. They live peacefully, moving from place to place and hunt, usually respecting claimed land. Once upong a time Carlisle had respect the ‘civilised’ nature of the volturi but now finds it barbaric how they shepherd in humans to feed on, how they rule, how they make laws to suit their own purpose when they feel like it. He lost his respect with their failure to step in with the situation in Seattle – it had already been shaken with the threat to his children.
the smell of shapeshifters: yes, even Carlisle doesn’t like it but they are good people so he ignores it.
watching a member of his family in pain: sometimes it is necessary, sometimes it isn’t. He wants them to live as comfortably and happily as possible. When his family is in pain he often finds he is unable to help and that is a terrible terrible feeling.
having to kill another of his kind: Having killed so much during his human life, even if it was in the name of God, Carlisle hates killing. He hated it then and he hates it now. If there’s another way Carlisle will use it gladly.
being unable to help his family:
having a patient die on him: Carlisle does his best to save every patient but sometimes he can’t. He hates that even though he can hear better and see better that sometimes it isn’t enough and people die. He knows its the natural order of things but it is still hard to see someone slip away violently or quietly. He always prays for them later when they do.
terminally ill people – they break his heart. Carlisle hates feeling helpless and the terminally ill do just that. He tries to comfort them when he’s with them but sometimes it turns out they end up comforting you. He finds it hard to deal with those dying slowly especially knowing he’ll never die – not like that. He guesses he feels guilt because he’ll live forever without interference.
When Rosalie becomes difficult during a pressured time: He loves Rosalie with all his heart but sometimes she can choose the most inopportune moments to through a hissy fit and it bothers him that she can be so selfish during times that require her to step up. Fortunately it usually doesn’t take much to talk her around. It’s usually Jasper you have to worry about when he gets an idea in his head.
closed-mindeness,
prejudice.
ambitions: Teach Renesmee to read Latin – it’s a great bonding experience and wants Nessie to learn things more human too.
To be a chief resident: so far in his life Carlisle has only been a resident but wants to someday gain the Chief position.
Teach medicine to others: He’s not been in a teaching hospital as of yet but he wants to be. Teaching others what he knows would be a great vocation for him.
abilities: Blood resistance: Blood could be pooling around him and Carlisle won’t blink. The scent barely bothers him anymore. He’s built up and incredible resistance to the smell, the best in his family.
Negotiate: Carlisle is very calm and cool and collected, has a level head and can think clearly. His tact allows him to placate almost any situation, especially with the help of his empathic son, Jasper. He’s good at negotiations and compromise and diffusing situations.
Triage: Carlisle is the fastest at triage in the whole hospital and that’s going at the horrible human speed – and it’s damn near perfect too. He’s great with stitches.
secrets: He’s a vampire: to humans he’s just really good looking, pale with great skin and great genes. In reality he’s a blood sucking fiend who preys on animals instead of humans.
personality: Carlisle is one of the most compassionate people to walk the Earth. He's more than three centuries old yet he's not jaded, bitter or angry at the world. He's not angry at the universe for what he is, though like a few of his family he's not happy about it. He has accepted that this is the way he is and does not want to die. He accepts that he is now a vampire and will be for the rest of eternity - barring dismemberment of course. He believes that this way he can help people more because he has keener senses and can push the limits. He has come to realise over the course of his life that nothing is never easy or as simple as his father used to claim. Even vampires who feed on humans aren’t necessarily bad people – most who switch to vegetarianism either have had a strong compunction against killing as a human, were found by someone who is a vege or have a power which means feeding off humans can be painful and cause great suffering. Carlisle has many nomadic friends.
Carlisle is an extremely dedicated doctor. Even as a human he wanted to protect human life from sin and evil. He likes to heal broken humans and does his best with broken vampires too. He is a good person with the greatest capacity to forgive and love. Carlisle, however, does not allow his compassion to rule him entirely, recognising times when it is necessary to set it aside and do what has to be done. When a member f his family is threatened Carlisle will kill, or help, or allow it to happen so his family can remain safe and intact and happy. He doesn’t relish the thought of the death of another creature, or the thought that his family are the ones that have to do it, or that he has to, but there comes a time when there is no other way. Sometimes there is no choice, a belief he did not have as a human thanks to his father. Sometimes choices are made for you.
Carlisle is a very understanding person. He's the most accepting person in the entire family along with his beloved wife, Esme. He loves his children dearly and wants them to be able to come to him for advice, information, to have a simple chat or make a confession. They know he'll forgive their transgressions as long as they admit to their wrong doings and are willing to try harder next time. Edward's carniverous pursuits had disappointed and saddened Carlisle but he was delighted when his son and first companion realised that that life really was not for him. Carlisle also doesn’t force his lifestyle on anyone. He realises it is a difficult and personal change to make, especially when one is so entirely built to hunt humans. He will answer whatever questions are asked, and they usually are, honestly and truthfully hoping he can persuade someone else to change. Carlisle knows it is just a curious inquiry but he feels a slither of hope nonetheless.
He's a loving and caring vampire. His family is his world. There is nothing in the world he cherishes more than his family. Esme, of course is the subject of his unconditional love, loyalty and protection, but this does extend to his children. They are all different in many ways but he cares for them all equally. Within his home there is a diverse range of personalities and he believes they all get on so well because of their diet - of course Jasper's influence helps too. It is Carlisle’s belief that animal blood makes for less volatiles vampires. It is true that they and the Denali Coven are the largest peaceful covens to exist, though what kept the Volturi from fighting he was never sure – probably Chelsea’s bonding ability.
He is an uncommonly kind and passionate man. He believes in the good of others , even ones who may see themselves as monsters or previously were carnivorous. If they were willing to conform to the vegetarian way he sees no reason to condemn them for their past as most are unaware that such a diet is possible.
He is very welcoming and hospitable and holds great respect for his guests. He is gracious and polite and always listens to others and allows them to speak their opinions and offers his own without overshadowing or discrediting theirs. He knows it is dangerous to allow a vampire into his home, especially a nomad they have previously come into contact with in an altercation that did not end well but his compassion and his need to protect his family meant Carlisle had to listen to Laurent’s warning. Carlisle is a very good judge of character and can usually tell when someone is being honest and when someone is keeping something back. He’s not perfect at it, no one without a power is, but he has had three hundred years of practice to give him an edge in such things. If he has guests, no matter who they are, he does not want them to feel uncomfortable. Carlisle is a gracious host to whomever steps over the threshold – human or otherwise.
Carlisle is extremely controlled. He is the only one out of the Cullens who can be guaranteed not to kill a human, whether he is exposed to their blood or faced with the challenge of turning them. Carlisle's pure loathing for death and murder overrides the bloodlust allowing him to stop. It still isn't easy but it is something Carlisle is able to do. He also barely notices the scent of humans anymore. It holds no interest to him beyond the fact they are fragile and require protection. As well as his control with blood Carlisle can usually maintain a calm equilibrium with his emotions too. He knows it is best for Jasper not to be constantly torn up and down by all these differing emotions and does his best to maintain an even keel especially when Jasper gets tense. No one likes having their privacy invaded but he’s long since become used to Jasper’s occasional tinkering or Edward’s ability to hear his every thought. No matter what the situation Carlisle is calm and cool on the outside, thinking with a clear head: no one but Jasper or Edward would never be able to guess he was frightened or mad. He’s their father and leader and so he feels it important that he remains strong and resolute throughout all situations. When times are calm and peaceful so is Carlisle. He is naturally the kind of guy who is placid.
Carlisle holds great respect for the sanctity of life. He loathes killing above all else, even hating the murder of his own kind, even someone is vicious and evil as James. It is not in his nature to be so cruel. He hates what he had to do in his human life and ensures that he never has to do anything in that way again. The death of James was to protect Bella, nothing else.
Carlisle although is aware of sarcasm is not one to use it. It does not suit him. He is not vicious in any respect and is polite even when in the midst of a confrontation.
He is a good negotiator and has a way with words. He is a very calm, collected and serene person which exudes from him, assisting others to back down. Of course it is nice to have Jasper by his side to ensure their clear heads but his presence is not necessary. He has a way with words and can put his point across without being forceful, judgemental, patronising or condescending. Carlisle is a very tactful man, mindful of the emotions and pasts of others. One slightly stinging statement can send Rosalie into a fit or stall negotiations, or even end them completely. It is difficult when dealing with his kind for they can be so touchy sometimes. Carlisle doesn’t like to upset anyone unless it is not the time or place to be totally concerned by what they are feeling.
Carlisle is very intelligent - he is a doctor after all. He is wise and insightful. He has good observation skills and intuition. He can usually tell when one of his family is hiding something, needing to talk, be alone or something is bothering them. He's also very private and will respect their wishes whatever they may be. If a couple decide to split off it will sadden him greatly but that is their decision – he will have to persuade them to visit, if that is the least they could do. Carlisle could not bear never to say any one member of his family again, and neither could his lovely life Esme. He never wants her to have to lose any of her children again.
Carlisle is a determined man. He'll do everything in his power to save/protect his family or a life. He is ambitious and loves to learn. He is fascinated with new things, and likes theories, philosophy, sociology and learning about diverse cultures. He’ll often be pulled into a debate about this and that and loves intellectual conversation. He finds the powers of vampires fascinating and is curious about how they can work for someone and work slightly differently for someone else. He does not wish to hoard power like Aro, or see vampires merely as walking strategic elements, but as beings who had gained a special gift in this next life. Carlisle has yet to figure out why some vampires have powers and some don’t: though it may be they have always had those powers in them but diluted. Bella always had a mental shield and Jasper had always been charming and persuasive, and from the sounds of things Alice had always been able to see things. For the rest their strongest personality point was amplified: his compassion, Rosalie’s anger, Esme’s sadness and compassion... he tries not to judge anyone because he himself does not wish to be judged for his past mistakes.
Carlisle is also religious. He was religious when he was a human too and still believes in sin, evil, heaven, hell and the soul. While he was judgemental and ruthless in the slaying of all things supernatural when he was alive Carlisle has mellowed severely in old age. He realises now that life is not as black and white as he was lead to believe by his father.
Carlisle dislikes prejudice, racisms, bias etc. He finds it almost intolerable to be around. Ignorance can sometimes be the worst because people will speak without really understanding what it is they are talking about. He’s a defender of those who can’t defend themselves, often giving those who speak against those with disabilities disapproving looks. He sees nothing in the colour of skin or what language one naturally speaks. Yes it is part of who they are but it is not all they are.
"Don't get your family slaughtered for pride."

~Carlisle Cullen~
mother: Anne Cullen – deceased shortly after Carlisle’s birth.
father: Michael Cullen, deceased 48, Priest
siblings: none
others:
Esme: Wife: She and the rest of the family are his entire world. Carlisle loves her more than anything else in the world and the rest of his family are a very close second. Everything is easier with her by his side.
Edward Cullen: Edward was Carlisle’s first adopted child, who originally portrayed himself as Esme’s brother. Carlisle cares deeply for Edward and was fascinated with his telepathy – but in the same sick way Aro is. He wants what is best for him and for him to be happy and will protect him. Carlisle knows Edward is not without his flaws but readily accepts them and while he was disappointed that Edward went off to feed on the homeless etc, he was very happy that this did not fit Edward’s personality.
Alice Cullen: Daughter: She’s certainly the life and soul of the party and is his youngest ‘daughter’. He loves her just as a child and hopes she will always be full of vibrant life. He hopes that discovering more about her past won’t taint or change who she is. She is a menace sometimes, but she’s adorable and highly entertaining – if not occasionally a little wearing.
Rosalie Hale: Daughter: Carlisle feels deep sympathy and empathy for Rosalie. Her life had been perfect until she met her fiancé. She suffered a terrible trauma that saddened and angered Carlisle. He is happy that she has never fed on a human but has mixed feelings about the human murders. He knows she had the right to do so and did nothing to deter or convince her otherwise – he simply pretended he knew nothing was going on. Rosalie is a difficult girl to deal with sometimes, often like a teenager but she is frozen with her 18 year old immaturities and difficulties. Carlisle is happy to see her grow a little since joining the family.
Emmet Cullen: Son: Emmet is friendly and Carlisle loves him just as much as the rest of his children. They often watch football and baseball games together and he’s a good companion and conversationalist.
Jasper Hale: Son: He is of some concern to Carlisle due to his lack of self control when it comes to blood. Carlisle does his best to encourage Jasper and keep him on the vegetarian path without being patronizing, condescending or overbearing. He desperately wants Jasper to succeed in his quest and is proud of his achievements so far. Jasper can resist the scent of humans and although it is difficult for him it is quite an achievement for a vampire who spent 100 years feeding on humans and living in carnage. He respects him greatly for continuing to try despite the obstacles in his path. He’s probably the strongest out of all of them.
Isabella Cullen: Daughter: The newest member of the family besides Renesmee is wonderful. Carlisle had always liked her father Charlie and feels just as strongly about Bella. Carlisle’s love knows no bounds and from the second
Edward decided he couldn’t live without Bella Carlisle accepted her as an inevitable part of the family. She is a very sweet girl, nice to talk to, pleasant and not without her quirks. Carlisle feels just as protective of her as all his children. He is also very proud of her astounding progress and is intrigued by her shielding ability.
Renesmee Cullen: Granddaughter; Carlisle loves his ‘granddaughter’ very much. It had been lovely for both Rosalie, Bella and Esme to have a child around the house – an actual child – that could be doted upon at least for a short period of time. Carlisle is extremely protective of her although this won’t be immediate obvious due to her fierce mother and father and Jacob.
The Denali Coven: Carlisle treats them as cousins to his family. He likes them very much and was greatly hurt by Irina’s betrayal but knows the madness the loss of a mate can bring can override everything else. He forgives her for her vicious mistake.
The Irish Coven/ Amazon Coven etc: Carlisle has many friends who are obviously not vegetarian and they are always welcome to visit as long as they do not hunt in the surrounding area. In Forks it is Forks itself, Port Angeles and Seattle. He understands the imposition it causes them but they do have to live there and maintain a low profile which isn’t helped by mysterious deaths and disappearances.
history: Carlisle was born in 1644 in London England to an Anglican Pastor and his wife. Carlisle does not remember his mother as she died shortly after child birth, leaving his father to raise him alone. Carlisle had a strict and firm upbringing and was taught religion and faith from an early age. To this day Carlisle still holds that faith close to him, a strong piece of his humanity he feels would be unwise to lose.
At times it felt like his father had not much use for him. As a child he could only learn and try his best but at times this felt like it would never be enough. His father was a stern man, with a hard personality, rigid control and a ruthless nature. He was devout and so, Carlisle became a devout Catholic as well. He knew nothing of the ordinary life of children that others lead. His father was very focussed in his work and taught Carlisle all he knew. There was much time for learning and little time for playing when he was maturing as a small human.
His father led crusades against Sin and Evil. Their targets were witches, wizards, werewolfs, vampires and any other creature that was deemed unnatural and abnormal according to the Christian Faith. Carlisle followed in his father's footsteps believing he was doing right in ridding the world of these abominations, though he always loathed killing them, expressing his dislike until he learned - quickly - that it was best to keep his mouth shut. At any ‘defence’ of these creatures his father would become violently angry, shouting abuse claiming Carlisle had to learn his lessons more clearly. He would sport bruises for weeks afterwards and so he learned to keep his mouth shut about his dislike of killing sentient creatures – couldn’t they just lock them up or something? For his father, no amount of captured and slaughtered abnormals were ever enough. . His father taught him to be judgemental and be prejudiced against things he did not understand nor want to. But even as a human, Carlisle was uncommonly kind, passionate and benevolent. This would later carry forwards, stronger than ever into his vampire life. He indeed was judgemental and prejudiced as a human but Carlisle did have to work hard at being such. He was too curious to be totally closed to other mindsets. He thought study of these creatures might be prudent but claimed they were good only for death.
As his father aged, Carlisle took over trying to make him proud until he discovered a nest of vampires in the sewers. After a confrontation Carlisle was left bitten, in agony and hiding in rotten potatoes. Three days later he awoke, horrified that he had become a monster he had hunted so vigorously. Carlisle's hatred of killing, his faith and respect for human life remained with him. He refused to bow to the burning in his throat, even as a newborn, and ignored civilisation so not to be tempted. He had all but disappeared, his starvation, his thirst growing to an unbearable point. Carlisle tried many ways to kill himself but vampires are not easy to kill. Eventually Carlisle gave in and attacked an animal in desperation. Amazed and delighted that his strength had returned, he vowed to only drink the blood of animals and so became a 'vegetarian'. Even at that, Carlisle dislikes having to kill the animals to survive but it is the better option.
Carlisle trained as a Doctor and became fantastic due to his mounting experience. But his loneliness grew beyond all proportions. He travelled the world, stopping with the Volturi for a time, becoming friends with Aro, who of course was fascinated with him. They did not object to his life style, allowing him to move freely - as long as he kept the secret - and kill animals. Carlisle never liked the way they fed and left with an invitation to return whenever he saw fit. Carlisle never did. He gathered friends from Ireland, the Amazon, Spain and all over the world.
He was working in a hospital at the time of the Spanish Flu treating a family. The father had already died, but Mrs Mason was alive, dying and desperate to save her son. She asked him to do everything in his power to save him. Shocked, and suspicious that she knew his secret, Carlisle treated her until she died. His loneliness was at the point where he could bare it no longer and turned Edward - the first time he had ever bitten a human. Carlisle's self control was unfathomable. His first taste of human blood and he was able to stop himself from draining him. He cared for Edward as he changed.
Later he turned his beloved wife Esme who had attempted to commit suicide, recognising her treating her for a broken leg as a child. He stayed by her bedside after removing her from the morgue, whispering apologies and comments of affection. They soon fell in love and decided to get married.
Edward left the family, shunning the vegetarian way, saddening and disappointing Carlisle for he had lost a dear companion. He had been truly concerned Edward would never return but hoped every day that his son would see sense. He of course was extremely happy when Edward returned and accepted him without a thought.
Rosalie was next to be turned. Carlisle stayed by her bedside whispering apologies. He could not save her as a human and had not wanted her to die. They knew of her as a human and she had not been well liked, but she had not deserved what had happened to her. Carlisle comforted her through the pain and explained to her what she was. He gave her the choice of leaving, or training to be a vegetarian. Her record is almost as clean as his - he is very proud.
They were staying in Forks when they met the Quilletes the first time. They made a treaty after the Wolves discovered they were something different, and did not pose a threat to human life. They cannot cross the treaty line, or bite or change another. Luckily Emmett had just joined the family at this time - he had been mauled by a bear and begged by Rosalie to be turned. He could not deny such passionate pleading.
in 1950 Alice and Jasper joined the family after terrifying the life out of Carlisle and Esme who had been home at the time with Rosalie. After some discussion and speaking with Jasper, assessing that he truly did want this lifestyle they were allowed to stay. Alice quickly became a daughter, while Jasper was slower to integrate due to his past, but not less loved by Carlisle. Carlisle taught and continues to teach and encourage Jasper to the best of his ability. He knows his son is able to do it, he just needs to believe in himself more.
The Cullens sayed a while in Denali before moving back to Forks and attending school. Edward then met Bella Swan and Carlisle was very happy he had finally found someone. He was very welcoming and treated her like he did everyone else. They played ball together and protected her from James and Victoria.
When Edward decided they had to leave Carlisle backed him despite not being happy about it. He was beginning to feel it was necessary that they do leave because people were beginning to talk about his lack of aging. . Charlie Swan had been the only one to stick by him rigorously. The news of Bella’s death had hit Carlisle hard and he immediately offered Alice his car when she said she wanted to go to Forks to check. His fear only mounted when he learned three of his children had travelled to Volterra. He dislikes them being anywhere near the Volturi, especially Aro who loves abilities and gathers them like a shiny button collection.
Carlisle dislikes people threatening his family more than he hates killing their kind. He followed Jasper's instructions on how to kill newborns, trying to ensure Esme's safety at the same time. Carlisle voted yes for Bella to become a vampire because Edward had decided not to live without her. Having her grow old with them just wasn’t feasible and he knew Edward would see that in time. Besides, bella had already voiced her determination on several occasions on becoming just like them so they could be together forever.
Carlisle did his best to assist Bella through her pregnancy, fascinated by both her ability to be so and Renesmee's ability whom he loves very much. He was hurt when Alice and Japer left without a word but confident they had not abandoned the family as it was not their style. He knew Alice was concerned over Aro and his ability seeking ways. Plus if they had been warned Aro would have known what they were up to. He understands very well why they chose to keep the rest of them in the dark. They had great sense of timing for which Carlisle was very grateful because Nahuel turned the tide a little in their favour. It was then that they saw the Volturi could not and would not abide by their own rules and were determined to destroy all those he didn’t think he could use on his guard.
Now the Volturi has been disbanded which has Carlisle both glad....and very very concerned...

anything else: My internet is kinda squinty at the moment so I won’t be on with my usual ‘all the time’ routine. I can still get on at least once or twice a week though.
rp sample:
Jasper found that he and his wife would play games at the most interesting and weird of times. Here he was, stressed and playing cat and mouse with his ‘girlfriend’. Though at this rate the humans would think he wasn’t taking his stalker seriously and think him to be raving mad. Even a small tetchy woman could be a highly dangerous woman. He had trained enough newborns to know that sometimes the smallest were in fact the deadliest. His lovely wife though, was certainly helping. Jasper was feeling less stressed now than he had when he was alone, wandering the streets of Port Angeles with no aim nor goal at all. All he had wanted to do was get out the house which was seriously beginning to cramp his muscles. It was so stressful at home lately that Jasper found himself searching for a constant calm so he was often outside or not there at all. He hadn’t wanted to ask for help, again, so he had left. Trust Alice to find him and make him feel better anyway.
The alley was like any other. Jasper figured once you had seen one alley you had pretty much seen them all. He was glad he wasn’t human: these little back streets weren’t exactly the ones you wanted to be walking alone, male or female. Even humans felt wary around him which was saying something. At school they all kind of backed off, but that might be because he often had an expression of pain smothered across his face. Lately, he had been doing much better. His last year of school had certainly been the easiest he’d ever had. For the first time in years he had sat comfortably surrounded by humans filled with tempting blood and tempting hearts. It probably had something to do with the fact human Isabella Swann had invaded the house so often that her scent had lingered forcing him to become used to dealing with human scents all the time, rather than just part of the day.
Jasper knew she couldn’t be pleased about his sudden change in direction. She was just so easy for him to catch in a crowd. She was his reason for being anywhere in this world and he would know her emotional signature anywhere. He was thankful for that. He might need to be pick her out a crowd someday and he’d rather use her emotional mark than her scent. Jasper tried not to get to involved with smells these days. Humans smelled so tasty and that usually got him into a lot of trouble. Alice smelled...well delicious but that was something else entirely. Jasper had not once failed in his serious expression with the twinkling eyes. Most humans didn’t even think about the amusement they saw there – just the hard set jaw and straight lips and rigid body posture was enough to get them backing off. Alice had never been put off by him at all. She might even have been fascinated and that in turn fascinated him. He never could understand why anyone would like him yet be attracted to him but he had long since ceased to ask those questions. They just seemed to get people rather angry.
