"Holding on to whaaaaat I haven't goooooot!"
Lydia stood upon a rolling, gently sloping hill. Her hair whipping out behind her as her crimson eyes took in her surroundings. France was not her usual environment, she had been born and raised in Brazil, but now her past had chased her away and she stood on this slope, above a vine yard, southern france.
The vine yard was empty for a reason, Lydia had descended upon it, her thirst over coming her as she had passed and so she had pounced, an entire family. She felt some remorse but she couldn't of stopped herself, not with them that close to her and their blood had tasted oh so sweet that she could of cried, if she was still human she might of. She really had to cut herself some slack, she was till pretty new to the vampire thing. she exhibited self control when ever she modeled it was just then she couldn't help herself in the slightest.
Lydia was a beautiful woman, so it had made the males death a bit better for him she supposed but she didn't care much about that, she had enough of this life. It was time for a change but who would give her what she needed for that? she wanted a coven and a group of people she could call family, with a leader who would consul her so she wouldn't get angry and fry people with her gift every few minutes, as her thoughts followed this path the skies darkened and it began to rain, this was a sad subject for her. How she was alone for now, she wanted companionship...

Alex frowned as he rode on his motorcycle from school, he wasn’t pleased with Roxanne Honestly I treasure and value my daughter I do, but she is really pushing it she is arriving to classes late her grades are slipping even more I have to pay more attention to her, make sure she does her home work and studying…no more visit’s to the stores in fact I am grounding her….Pehaps I can find her a tutor to help when I have to work I doubt she would listen to Whitney or Joan. So I may have to hire someone. The vampire thought to himself he started to feel the rain pour down on him he drove to the shopping center and parked in the underground parking, taking the key with him.
Alex stood up and looked around he left the shopping complex Alex didn’t mind walking around in the rain it wasn’t like he was wearing a suit, no he was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans. He knew his Shirt would get see through if soaked, but he didn’t care he was proud of his body and didn’t mind showing it off. Walking in the rain alex looked around, He had known France very well it was his homeland after all. The vampire looked around he smelled the scent of something sweet, there was a new vampire in town.
Alex wasn’t pleased; Paris was his turf his lands for hunting, The immortal decided he would scout around to see if he could find the scent of this vampire. It smelled pretty faint It’s no use the scent is pretty faint, it could be hours old….not to mention the rain is washing the scent away so it will be impossible to find the vampire…perhaps I should call Joan and have her and the others keep an eye the twins just to be safe. Alex thought to himself he stopped and pulled out his phone and text messaged Joan to take the twins home right after school no buts. Finishing the text message Alex put his phone and resumed his search for the vampire.

Lydia looked out over the vineyard to the town and the behemoth construction at it's border, a shopping complex. She began walking towards it briskly then broke into a run, to anyone else everything would of been a blur right now. She had to at least be running at 70 odd miles per hour if not more. It always shocked her the speed her kind could run at and what they could do to houses, reducing them to rubble in a mater of moments with ease ...
Her thoughts trailed of as she slowed, entering the verges of the town she looked about herself and took note of everything, including the light scent of a vampire. So there was a coven around, great. That tended to end badly for her no matter how nice she was to them they never accepted her, she was too dangerous some said and others claimed only those they had known many years were trust worthy enough and many said newborns were a risk and she was still classified as a newborn for at least ten years, it was dependent on her lever of control which was generally pretty good or she wouldn't be here now.
Now she had to move quickly, she began tracking the scent, moving through the streets towards the shopping centre it seemed but then the scent bent away. She decided to give up the tracking and head for some fashion therapy, it always calmed her even if she didn't need clothes to make herself any more attractive to me, she already spent her days teasing them. Right then she was wearing a tight green tank top that hugged her curves and just a simple pair of jeans with 2 inch heel boots. Nothing particularly special as far as she was concerned, especially when she saw what some of the women around her were wearing as she drifted towards the shopping mall.

Alex looked around He continued to search the streets trying to pick up the scent, he was completely soaked his white shirt completely see through showing off his bulging musclesI cannot Allow this to happen I have to find out where this vampire is and their reason for invading. my hunting land….Until then I cannot allow Whitney, Roxanne or Adia to be alone...I protect and provide for the women in my life…I know I can count on sam and zack I shouldn’t worry on them. Alex thought to himself as he continued to walk in the rain, Alex pulled out his shades and placed it on to hide his Crimson eyes.
Alex continued to move about feeling frustration, frustration because finding this scent was difficult, that whenever he got a faint trace it disappeared from the rain, he also felt frustration at being wet as a wet rat.
The Immortal moved fast as he picked up the scent he finally found it, following it all the way to a store looked through the glass window and knew the vampire was in there, the scent was fresh and powerful, and once he looked in through the window he saw her, the vampire was a female. She had pale skin wearing a green top and jeans with heels. Granted she had poor fashion senses honestly who wears jeans with heels. Alex shook his head as he watched the female on his turf, he wanted to know why she was here, granted he would not exploded, no he was a dignified vampire, he removed his sunglasses and watched her with his crimson eyes, deciding he would wait outside the store letting the female finish her business, just by looking at her he could tell this female was not acustomed to vampire life and the customs of vampires, if she did know she would have sought out his scent and ask for permission instead of just going about in his turf.

Lydia stood in the store riffling through clothing calmly and she chose out a few of her more fashion conscious choices. She was doing her best to blend in with her current outfit but now she held some pretty expensive clothing in her hands. She loved the feel of the silk now in her hands and she moved towards the counter, keeping her eyes hidden she handed over the money and had a very short conversation before she then caught a scent.
The strong but sweet scent of another vampire and her defensive instinct was hard to over ride but she managed it and then she moved to the door way, spotting him with ease. Another carnivorous vampire like her, that was a relief she supposed. She looked him over and sighed, so this would be the vampire she could smell earlier and this concerned her, what if there was a local coven, that would mean he would be territorial and she didn't want another coven to chase her out of their turf. She really didn't understand why they were like this.
She walked out of the store slowly, pulling on the jacket she had brought along with the sun glasses and she ran a hand through her hair, her nerves set in and the sky darkened further, thunder rumbled above as she looked at him nervously waiting for him to approach where she now stood.

Alex looked at Lydia intently watching the vampire, he wondered just how was it she could be so bold to walk into another’s turf and walk around like she owned the place. He could see her examine the clothing and touching silk and when she wet towards the counter he could see the alarmed look on her face as she caught onto his scent She seemed distracted for sure and he knew she was afraid, if not she soon would be if she didn’t have a good reason for the disrespect she has shown.
Alex remained there soaked, completely wet he felt slightly annoyed, but pushed it aside emotions at this moment served as nothing, but a burden and he knew that he still remembered his lessons from his sire, and he passed on some of them to his children the most important of all is to think with your head and not you’re emotions. Standing there apathetic to all emotions around him to everything he concentrated on the female vampire.
She seemed hesitant to move and Alex walked towards her and kept his shades on his torso visible thanks to white shirt being see through from the rain “Greetings Madame we have much to discuss, please make sure you have all you’re business settled, before we leave ” He spoke with no emotions at all, he was calm, collected and dignified as much as a man completely soaked could be. He examined the female, she seemed to be a child a teenager at least, but then when dealing with vampires appearances were nothing. Alex was six hundred and nine years old, he had witnessed many historic events one of which, was the death of Joan of Arc. He waited for her quietly and began to walk away, into the alley where he expected to see the vampire female follow.

Lydia looked at the vampire as he approached and her feet set as she half crouched, eyeing him warily as the storm above them grew until the clouds roiled and lightning arced in the sky. When he demanded she follow almost subtly and walked off lightning lanced from the sky, smashing into the pavement behind him as she looked away from the bright flash of brilliance. She looked back and shook her head speaking nervously "I-I'm not going to follow you anywhere ... how can I trust you? You want to say something you ... you have to say it here." then she looked around at the panicking people and the storm eased off, the sun slowly penetrating the clouds as guilt flooded through her at causing such gut wrenching terror in the humans.
She sighed and knew that this was just going to be another time where she had to move in because these stupid over protective fools that lead covens didn't trust her because she was still newborn and she had no idea about any of the procedure that went with vampires and their territory. She was shaking every so slightly, one of her old human habits when she was nervous or slightly scared. She marshaled her emotions so as not to have a repeat of moments ago with her gift.

Alex had looked at the female half crouch and he let out a low hiss Such a stupid child look at her crouching in public…she is definitely new to this life..foolish arrogant child. She has no idea how to blend in with the fleshbags…hmm the weather is shifting interesting He thought to himself Alex placed his hands behind his back and Watch as lightning struck, he examined the female vampire He let out a sigh “Please be as so kind to regain you’re posture…we are in public and you are acting most undignified especially in front of the flesh bags, you may raise suspicion.” He spoke calmly and dignified. Alex listened to her speak and lowered his shades his crimson eyes looking at her.
Alex saw a child, one that was undignified and needed guidance “I have no desire to harm you, but I also have no desire to conference in front of the humans…it’s an unnecessary risk that could expose us…Now do not be insolent and follow me, I have given you my word that I will not harm you at this time” He spoke with a tone of parental authority, being a father to children and leader of a coven he had learned that there are those who needed a little authority. He raised his sun glasses to cover his eyes and smiled for a moment to try and reassure the female vampire.

Lydia shifted back to standing and pressed her back against the wall as she looked at him, he was scaring her already. She couldn't trust anyone she feared and so she felt her anger rising, how dare he molest her like this! That was how Lydia saw it, this vampire obviously thought he was above her. Well she would teach him a lesson! then her fear returned and she cowered away from him.
"H-How can I trust you?" she asked timidly as she looked at him, he scared her witless he was so calm about treating her like she didn't matter beyond being an annoyance and dangerous. She didn't understand it and it scared her. All the other coven leaders had chased her off their patch but this one ... he wanted to speak to her, as if he wanted her to be under his guidance or something and that really did cause he to tremble, what if he was trying to kill her?
She sighed and almost managed to convince herself to go then she shook her head and went rigid against the wall muttering "I can't trust you, they all tried to kill me or chase me away! I just want somewhere I can stay and be happy! WHY WON'T YOU ALL JUST LEAVE ME TO FIND THAT PLACE!"

Alex looked at Lydia and felt his patience running thin with the child, she was seriously irritating her. He continued to drip water from the rain Honestly the nerve of this child, I can clearly see why her maker abandoned her she is a whiney loud pain in the ass…what to do with this child, she has invaded my land and now is giving me attitude…I honestly just want to smack that smart mouth of hers he thought to himself.
Alex breathed in and exhaled the air to keep calm he smiled a little at the young vampire he could see her shiver and for now he decided he would try to calm her he used his gift to influence Lydia into loving him, love and couldn’t work together in most cases he kept his smile trying to reassure Lydia “Calm down young one…shhhh take deep breaths then exhale…..you can trust me, my word is my bond and I never break my bond..It’s because of that that you can trust me young one, I have no wishes to harm you only speak to you…ok….we cannot speak here because it is too crowded and anyone could hear us.” Alex offered his hand to the female vampire trying to reassure her

Lydia looked at him and then at the sky and forced it to slowly become sunny and warm, quicker than a natural change over but she had had enough of the gloom. Rain always annoyed her but if she always changed it humans preached about climate change. She had probably caused most of that hype by changing the weather constantly but she couldn't help it.
When he spoke again she felt something compelling her into loving him almost like he was a father and it broke past her raw fear and she slowly moved towards him and as he held his hand out she reluctantly took it. She looked at him in wonder, what was he doing to her? she never trusted another vampire but ... she knew she would be able to turn her back on him and that idea brought a little of the fear back.
She was just nervous now as she spoke softly "W-Why do you want to talk ... all the other c-coven leaders and the like .. they all tried to kill me ..." then she looked at the ground as she continued "I-I lost control in th-the vineyard on out skirts of town .. all three of them ... they are dead... I couldn't help it then I caught your scent and panicked..." she looked at him from under her hair hoping he would take what she just told him well.

Alex looked at Lydia and noticed she looked up to the sky and he followed looking up he noticed the weather shift becoming sunny and warm Alex knew this wasn’t good the sun was slowly starting to become visable he looked at her and listened to her, he had no choice but to do something drastic.
Alex stepped closer to the female vampire and picked her up he began to ran carrying her and at the same time he spoke “Silence, the sun is coming out and you know what happens if sunlight touches us” he whispered. He had kept his influence of love over her and went into an alley he found the entire situation interesting that the weather was so eratic especially with Lydia around Alex kicked down the back door to an old theater house and entered close the door behind him using his ass to push it.
The immortal lowered Lydia and looked at her “Quiet now child, First of all I do not wish to arm you, but I do want to know why you are in my territory…do you not understand our laws and our cultures child....I wish to hear a proper answer no whimpering or whining understand” he spoke to Lydia sounding firm, he folded his arms and knew he would be in trouble with Adia, He was meant to be getting her new necklace, but apparently it looks like he wouldn’t make it there today.

Lydia went rigid with shock as he picked her up and she remained still as a statue in his arms, she had no idea what the hell he thought he was doing but she didn't like it, when they entered the shade. She glanced around the room and then looked at him when he spoke and she couldn't help but shiver, she knew this was the end. She had pushed him and now things were going to end. She looked at him and timidly replied "I ... I just want somewhere to ... find some where IC an belong and live in peace rather then being hounded by other vampires!"

Alex looked at Lydia and folded his arms his finger was tapping on his arm in frustration and he began to pace he wondered how someone could be this dense and he breathed in and exhaled he decided to try another approach “You’re obviously a child new to this life…alright child…For the thousandth time Calm down, you are vampire and vampires are always in control of their emotions they do not allow themselves to be ruled by emotions….I know you’re afraid child….so I want you to focus breathe All that fear and Panic push it out of your head child…find that calmness and embrace it” he spoke feeling a little annoyed by the whole shivering and fragileness.
He wanted to know more about this vampire and see why she was here of all places he would give her a few minutes to calm down “once you have compose yourself you may speak” He spoke in a calm manor

Lydia took a full minute to at least subdue her panic, so he wasn't out to kill her .. then what did he want of her? why there questions instead of just getting it over with? she knew her only choice now was to comply to his wishes and so she did. She took a deep breath then decided she would have to tell him the whole truth as to why she was here and so she looked at him from under her hair once more, hoping to hide the panic that still brewed inside her and she began by saying "France was always a haven for me ... I had my first modeling shoot here when .. when I was still human ... I have a few friends that live here and I just wanted to be safe and to see them again ... I can't go and see my mother or father so here was the very best option for me, or so I thought." she paused before continuing "I never knew a coven existed in France, I have been in and out constantly over the last 32 years. To discover that a vampire has claimed this territory is like everywhere else I felt safe, it shatters it. Every other coven tried to kill me or run me off their lands, none gave me a chance, they all said "OH you are a new born, too risky get out of here or we kill you" and all made me run ... are you going to kill me now?"
