For years the huntress has been running and now it was time to see someone who could help her rebuild her life, everyone she ever loved was murdered and somehow she saw that the Cullens are in the same trouble as she is in. Heidi walked her way as she found herself in a park in Washington. She wrote the Cullens a letter that she'd be here for at least two days. in those days they have the chance to talk with her and listen to her as she will show no harm and no threat.
All she wants is to stay alive and they have to admit the Volturi is better then the pure ones will ever be. Heidi sat on a bench , no sun, no sign of life. Her eyes and ears are still open for anything that is alive. She know this wasn't a good time of being here, but she had nothing else. Her husband, murdered because he wanted to save her. Her family, killed. Chelsea, gone. Everything is lost, everyone has been stolen from her and she wants it back. A tear rolled down her eyes as she heard a sound and smelled a vampire.
She looked at the direction where she smelled it and held her breathe, yes she was scared, what if it was a pure one, hunting her down. Glad they don't have Demetri. Another tear rolled down, her best friend, her brother. She wanted to scream , to show them that they couldn't take it all. How long would it take for them to see that not all vampires are accepting their mess. The pure ones are just a bunch of liars, the volturi had their boundries, they were better off if the romanians would take over. They would let the Volturi alive and step away with peace and let them still live in the castle.

Edward was walking around in the park that night. He just wanted time to himself. And think on things. Living with two women was a bit unnerving for him at some times....He just wanted to be alone. He tried to see if Jasper or Emmett wanted to just hang out but, they were both busy and Carlisle was working as usual. So here he was alone in the park. He stopped at leaned against a tree as he let the cool air hit his face and he sighed heavily. He of course let Bella know where he had been. But even Edward Cullen needed time on his own. He was a bit taken a back as he sensed another vampire in the area and so close to him. He began to walk in the direction of the strange scent. He had not smelt this particular one before. They must be new in the area...But none the less Edward was always edgy about new vampires. He would just greet them with the best manners as possible. He was brought up to be a nice guy after all. And he could at least make them feel welcome. He then spotted the new vampire sitting on a bench by herself....
He walked up to the girl and smiled. "Um, hello..." He said softly as he walked right up to her and took his seat on the bench right beside her..."I'm Edward Cullen nice to meet you..." He again was using his proper manners and struck his hand out for her to take. He was not going to be rude and completely ignore a fellow vampire. Even if she did have red eyes. Edward was taught to have respect for all immortals even those that were not like his family. He was always up for meeting new people any way. Bella said he needed new friends any way as well. So may be this would be good for him. He kept his power though at bay. And respected the girl's privacy. He would not use his power unless he really needed. He hated mind reading. Others seemed jealous that he could do this. But, then again they have not had this power. It could tend to get a bit tedious....And not to mention very annoying....He glanced at the girl and gave her a small reassuring smile that he would not hurt her in any way....

The huntress felt alone more then ever. She desired to get back to her own life, be happy and never have to cry, but this was different. She sighed heavily as she noticed a smell she have smelled before, it was Cullen! Was she blessed? no she couldn't be. Her violet eyes turned to Edward Cullen. He didn't remember her? weird... never the less she smiled and took his hand. '' Heidi.. Volturi. '' she said the last name with a lot of pain.
Heidi looked at him, just to see him, he was being polite, like usual. Carlisle's children always have been. She released his hand and put them down on her lap. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she looked at Edward. She wiped them away and watched her only black dress getting ruined. She looked at him again and the only thing she could imagine is him attacking her soon or later. Though she wouldn't be surprised if the Cullens were happy to see her.
After all, she was one of the only Volturi members who never done anything wrong. They never really spoke to each other, usually it was a hi or just a glare. Nothing really special. She looked at him and somehow she felt the urge to apologize for everything the Volturi has done to them, and for being such a bitch, since she never really talked to them and if she did, she did it with no respect at all.

'' Heidi.. Volturi." "Nice to meet you Hedi..." He took his hand back when she shook it firmly. And he smiled at her again. He looked down at the ground then. Not sure how to begin a conversation with a new girl he's only just met. He would not really remember her from the Volturi either. Lately his life has been a bit busy he tries his best not to remember what it was like when the Volturi ruled the laws of the vampire world. Now there was this new leader ship he had to get used to all over again. He didn't know much about the Pure Ones...But he sure as known about them for quite some time. He looked over at Hedi and noticed she was trying to cry. There must have been some thing really bothering her to make her cry like that all of a sudden...He placed his hand on her shoulder just then. To try and comfort her.... "Hey, you...alright there?" He asked quietly. He was always quiet spoken. It was rare he rose his voice for any thing...But he does it only when he is super angry....
He didn't hold her last name against her if that was what she was thinking. He was just shocked a little that she wept right there in front of him. What could he do to help her feel better? She must be upset about some thing really bad. Well, he knew she lost her home and friends. That would kill any ones spirit. He couldn't help but sorta feel a bit sorry for her. But all he was a Cullen. What good could he do for her? He could just lend his ear if she needed to talk to some one...
"Hey, I'm here if you need to get some thing off your chest..." He said yet again soft spoken. He was trying his best to keep his cool around some one that fed off humans. But he was again brought up better than most vampires. And he was taught not to hate. He couldn't hate a fly even if he wanted to. He couldn't help but think about his daughter as this grown woman was crying right in front of him...Nessie got emotional some times as well.
He looked around and made sure they were really alone. So it would be alright to talk about just about any thing. And they were.... "Come on...Tell me what is bothering you? Look, not a soul around...You can tell me any thing and I won't judge you...I promise..." He hoped that she knew that he was who he said he was. He was not what some vampires had lied about him...He never paid attention to any one's opinion about him....Bella was always telling him needed to get out more and make new friends as well...And he saw no threat yet with Hedi any way...So maybe this was a good thing that he bumped in to her....She might really need him more than she knew....And he would be there if she only asked for help....

Heidi looked at Edward. He really didn't know her. Since the Volturi has fallen no one knew. Well that would be fair by having a fresh start. She smiled at him. '' I'm fine , don't worry. '' she said with a smile and looked around. There is really no one else around, her violet eyes skipped form left to right and to Edward. '' Its hard to realize that they are gone. '''she said and sniffed.
She looked at edward and took a deep breathe, she was getting more serious by the moment. '' Is there a chance for me to talk with your family without them killing me? '' she asked at him with a seriously worried look on her face. If Carlisle would decide her death she would be more lonely then ever and be happy to let him finish her off, she would surrender without fighting.
Heidi looked at Edward and decided to tell her story from when she got away from the castle alive. '' when the Volturi fell, I took Chelsea with me and left with her. She fought to the end and told me to leave and she would come after me. I never saw her after it, i met Alec not much later crying about his sister being gone. I never saw him cry before.
So i followed him and we survived and we only had each other, then he became reckless and he left me telling me to meet you guys to survive in this world, i'm on the run edward, I'll die if i can't be helped by you guys. '' she said desperate in need of help. |

'' I'm fine , don't worry. '' '' Its hard to realize that they are gone. '' He glanced over at her when she said that part. They? Oh, he knew then who she was talking about. He was trying his best to stay strong for her. But some times he hated the Volturi and what they did to him and his family over the years that some times he was glad they were gone. But, he couldn't show that off to Hedi. She looked to be really torn up about the whole thing. '' Is there a chance for me to talk with your family without them killing me? '' "Of course there is...We would never hurt some one unless they are truly threatening us. Why do you wanna speak with my family any way?" He asked her quietly as he sat there beside her. Listening to her little sniffs and stuff, made him feel a bit sorry for her now. She must really be torn up that she lost her family. He would be to no fooling. He was be an emotional wreck if he lost his family. What could he do to help her feel better right now though?

He sighed heavily at what she was saying. He couldn't imagine what it must be like to be on your own like she was. Well, maybe he could. But that was a part of him he liked not to talk about. That was after all so long ago he even wondered to himself some times if that really happened? But it did. He couldn't hide from the truth....No matter how much he tried to...He looked over at her and that was when he made a move on her and he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close to him.... "It's all going to be alright...We're both vampires Hedi. Our emotions tend to be that ten times more of an average human. There's only so much we can take. I'm sorry for you loss...That must've been very painful for you...I don't know what would happen to me if my family was killed...You're doing the right thing. Reaching out to those that can help is the best thing you can do...."

Carlisle had an emergency call from the wolf alfa jacob. He said an unknown smell was found close to the park. He wanted to make him see the vampire first so he did. Carlisle drove his way to the edge of the park watching Edward Talking to no one less then miss Heidi. Carlisle didn't quiet sure understand why she would be here unless, she was one of the running survivors.
He got out of his car and walked to the spot Edward and Heidi were. Edward tried to comfort heidi which was the best thing to do in unknown situations. '' Edward, Miss Volturi, what a surprise to see you again. last time we met was not very long ago was it? '' Carlisle said and looked at Edward and Heidi. Carlisle's father instinct looked up to Heidi. She seemed broken, not able to do anything.
Carlisle looked at Edward. '' Am i allowed to know what the situation is? Its rare to see a Volturi these days. '' he said with a glance at Heidi. She was not the usual vampire on hunt in Forks. She was also not the kind of leaving her kids alone. Carlisle looked at both waiting for knowing what the situation is.
