Evren is a sweetie in almost every way possible. She is very polite. She wears her heart on her sleeve and is the one most likely to help others before herself. She is extremely loyal to her sister and normally always stands by Amberly’s decisions. She’s pretty even tempered and rarely ever gets angry. She’s very smart

On the downside, Evi is extremely hard on herself. She will usually put the blame on herself before she blames anyone else. She can be very pushy especially if she believes in someone and they aren’t reaching the potential she sets in them. She has some trust issues and doesn’t really let many people in, coming off as shy and even timid at times.

Evren was born about sixty years after her sister. They were happy for the most part. None of that changed until Evren was about twenty-five — which made her about five or so. She was sleeping peacefully one night. The dream started in a happy manner but suddenly turned dark when her parents were killed. She woke up terrified and ran to her sister’s bedroom to cuddle beside her without waking her up. She had never really bothered her parents much when something upset her, normally seeking comfort from her sister.

It wasn’t until the next day that Evren found out the hard way that not all of her nightmares were simple dreams. Amber was watching her while their parents were out and got a call from an old family friend saying that Margarite and Gregory had been killed. Amber was the one who told Evren, and that was when Evren broke down and went into hysterics, finally telling Amber about the dream she had the night before.

That point on she blamed herself and distanced herself from all but her sister. The only one she ever really opened up to was one of the few boys in the coven. Just two years older than her, Basil became one of her only real friends. If Evren couldn’t confide in her sister, she would confide in him. That wasn’t often, but still she trusted him with her very life. She was happy. Her life was complete with his sister and Basil and she thought it would stay that way.

When Amberly exiled Basil for using dark magic, Evren was devastated. She hadn’t wanted him to go. She loved him and didn’t really see what he did as wrong. He had been protecting her. Once again, she blamed her power and herself. The only difference between her parents and Basil was that she hadn’t seen the attack on her and Basil coming.
