Hello dear. The title says it all. YES you do need to read them. I realise it is a boring business, but it’s for the best honest xP Make sure to understand everything and NOT break any rules or the admins will be forced to take action.

REPORTING FOR DUTY

• If you plan to create an account and not even bother to create a profile, you might as well leave now. This board is not a place to visit only when you feel bored.
  
• By submitting a profile, members are committing themselves to the board. This especially applies to canon characters.
  
• If you need to leave for a period of time, post in the appropriate category or inform one of the admins.

Applying

• The application form needs to be filled it out CORRECTLY and with care.
  
• All work submitted in your application must be yours and yours alone.. If we find that any part of it was copied from Wiki or from another persons application than your application will be denied and or the charrie will be taken from you. Amazingly enough we have had a problem with member's comprehending this.. Let MINI put this as blunt as possible if we find out that your a talentless hack who copies other peoples stuff I will personally see you banned.. and I will make your life a living hell till you feel the need to leave the board..
  
• If you do not use the code given, the application will be IGNORED.
  
• Once the application has been submitted, please DON’T send messages to the admins about acceptance. Like you, we have real life to attend to so be patient and wait at least 48 hrs before catching an admin’s attention.

Character

• No one is perfect, therefore perfect characters are not allowed. Your character may have good qualities, but that doesn't mean they never make mistakes. Make sure there's that something that sets your character apart from the rest.
  
• Pregnancies happen... but please we cannot have every female on the board expecting.
  
• The above also applies for suicides; please be realistic.
  
• If you make an immortal child (vampire under the age of 10) your character will eventually die. Immortal children are against vampire laws. If you don't plan on having that character die, don't make it.
  
• After applying and being accepted your character cannot be changed for any reason unless approved of by staff.
  
• Do not make a character a species that we do not have listed. Take that character somewhere else.

Roleplaying

• All levels of experience are accepted, as long as the person in question can post at least one decent paragraph. However, do not expect someone to spend hours on a post for you if you only give them five sentences.
  
• After being accepted change your display name to your character's name.
  
• One line posters are NOT tolerated.
  
• Always reply in third person, keep in mind you're not writing your own diary. And NO slang language except for when the character speaks.
  
• When you're character is speaking use quotation marks (" "), and for thoughts use Italic.
  
• Godmodding is FORBIDDEN. You do this, you risk being warned, having the character taken away, or being banned depending on how many times it happens and how sever the power-playing is.
  
• Do you have a problem with a plot? Tough. Unless specifically asked to join that plot, you don't get a say. Sorry.
  
• OOCs should be AVOIDED in roleplay.
  
• Do not try to force someone to thread with you. Usually, that turns people off. With that, you also can't tell someone else that your character and their character need to be friends. You can suggest it, but if that person isn't for it, move on.
  
• Creativity and originality are encouraged, especially when it comes to coding which makes posts look more attractive. However it is not required. Password is PURE

Rating

• Proboards is strictly PG 13
  
• Mature content is FORBIDDEN. Violence, drug-use and cursing should be kept at a minimum.

Anything else

• You are allowed to have as many characters [both canons & originals] as you like, as long as you keep the whole lot active.
  
• Always respect the staff and other members.
  
• Please respect Other Member's creativity in writing styles and plots. Most of us will attempt to follow what we feel is in our cannon's personalities but no we won't stick to only what is written in the books..
  
• If you're having a bad day, my advice is to keep clear off the board. We don't want or need unnecessary fights. This is a place to have fun.
  
• We would also appreciate if you don't spend your whole time on the c-box, keep in mind that you are here to roleplay and it's not nice to keep others waiting for a long time.

Don't break the rules. Just don't. There are no 3 strikes. Some things are worse than others and we can't say someone who copies an app will get the same thing as someone who power-plays.
