Fiere looked out the window of the cab she was in looking the forest, being on the move again. She had just found somewhere to find some dark brown contacts as she had been running low and now was making her way up north. How far north she was not sure. She was hoping to find somewhere where she could settle down for a period of time instead of moving here and there like she had been doing the last twenty-two years or something like that, and trying to avoided places like New York, Los Angels and New Orleans where getting hard each day. She been mainly staying in small forests in abandon cabins trying to keep to herself out of trouble. Animals helped but there where only a few that went around, and it only took a few to say something was wrong.
As she got out of the cab outside the town sign, she looked around, thanking the man who asked if this was were she was going to stop here and not into town. She nodded and went her way with her bag over her shoulder. What brought her here she had no idea. She wanted to travel the world, she guessed, and that’s probably what brought her here to Greece. She thought herself a bit of a nerd when it came to Greek Mythology, but today she was not going to study but to enjoy herself.
She found a small bench of stone on a walk way and sat down in thought. As the sun began to shone through the clouds she ducked into the forest shade and sighed. She found a log and sat there instead. She sighed sadly, hating what she was. She pulled her legs up to her body and tried sitting there comfortably. Here was nice; she would not hurt anyone. She hated the fact that she just hunted yet she was still incredibly hungry. Was there not someone or someone(s) that could help and understand her? Was there anywhere that she would be able to truly fit in and belong?

He had been out most of the day in search of something though he had no idea what. The feeling that had come and stayed since that morning he had told the others that he was leaving and walked carefully glad for the cloud cover. The coven had grown with a few vampires usually all of them made things easier on the coven even though they did rule the vampire world he often kept looking heavily for new recruits. In his eyes that was where the Volturi had messed up the most when they had stopped coming up with new vampires over time even with the twins they had become weaker until his coven had snapped them in two.
He was alerted by a new scent that made him crane his head a new vampire he thought. So his feelings had been right as he followed them. Walking towards the vampire he hummed he was a decent tracker although he didn’t have a talent for it he could follow one. The crowded streets were making things harder though and it took him almost an hour before he knew that he had her and he walked towards her where she was seated that was why it had become easier as he made his way towards her and smiled “hello my dear” he said his voice soft “I hope that your day has bell well” he smiled lightly and rested his hands inside of his pockets his eyes never leaving hers.
He had a friendliness about him that showed brightly as he smiled “would you mind some company?” he asked her after a few moments keeping his voice soft as he rested his hand on the wall and then extended his other hand “Chris” he said introducing himself with a charming smile. Curiosity killed the cat and he hoped that it would be the case with her that he would soon have the chance to get to know the new vampire and if he would be able to bring her in under his wing.

Fiere looked at her hands after seeing a small spark from them, which happened every once an awhile, but not often enough to cause fire. Now she has had the opportunity to discover that she could control fire, but the downside with it was, it left her weak, and she only experienced that once. Since day one of that twenty-two years ago, she never used her part two of her curse on anyone or anything. It bothered her too. If being a vampire was not enough, she had to have some weird vampire disorder. Yes, she considered it a disorder.
She sighed silently, and sitting up she went through her bag, pulling out a small, folded map that had to have been used way over its lifetime. Through her decision of wondering where she should go next, and after meeting the witch the other day, she was pretty sure that she had seen everything near here around the island, minus the castle that was a mile from here. Though since it was ruled my vampires, she thought better not to go snooping. She suddenly looked up, and stood automatically, when the scent of another vampire came close to her. Before she could move or say anything, a soft voice spoke to her, her eyes, that held muddy, deep dark brown colored fake contacts, looked up. “Hello…and it has been fine, thank you.” she replied softly in her southern Louisiana accent, slightly sticking out between her words.
He seemed friendly enough, and it did show, which caused her to relax a little. Not wanting to be rude, she nodded. “Alright…” she replied lightly. She shook her hand, introduced herself, “Fiere.....nice to meet you,” and took a seat where she was sitting a minute or two before, after putting away the map. This was kind of weird as it was random. How often does/ did a random stranger come up, ask you how you were, introduced themselves, and ask if they could join you? Not very often, so at this point she knew something was up.

He could see that she was distracted and he had to admit that he wondered what was on her mind and he smiled lightly as she looked up and spoke he gave a small smile “I have not seen you around here before” he admitted and watched her cautiously. He had done the same when he had come to the area before he had struck with the coven and taken over. He had taken great pleasure in when he had killed Aro and Marcus ending their long lives. Proud to the end that he would be saved that Chris had laughed before he spit in Aro’s face before he killed the man he had hated him more then anything in the world.
Glancing at her he smiled lightly “would you mind some company?” he asked her after a few moments curious. He wondered if he could recruit her and see where things would go. Resting his hands inside of his pockets he leaned against the railing and paused glancing around the day was beautiful and he had enjoyed it as much as any vampire could with the cloud cover and seeing the city. The inland was theirs a private one where he allowed humans to stay it made the ruse better though their meals were often…imported in so that they did not get exposed in the end.
He had been debating for a moment he smiled “do you live around here?” he asked after a few moments. They had never really taken a tally of vampires in the area feeling they were safe. No one had wanted to challenge them as of yet they were still fresh off the win against the Volturi he doubted that they would have any issues for quite some time in his eyes. Glancing at her he smiled at her and gave her the charm “perhaps I can offer you a tour of castle Kathros” he offered her curious to see how she would respond “I own the castle and think that you would be interested” he smiled. He would see how much she knew about them with this and who lived inside that castle…there he could recruit her freely.

There was vibe around him that made Fiere nervous. Whatever it was, she was not sure what. She had only felt this once before about twenty-two years ago with Alexander, the one who changed her into the person she would soon become. She hid her hand, close to her side has sparks nervously dances around on her finger tips. For her this was a pain, because as it happened, it very slowly took away a little of her energy that she had, and it did not help that she was still considered a new-born. “Sorry, no. I am new to the area. I travel. A lot,” she explained carefully. She truly hoped she was on careful ground. The last she needed or wanted was an enemy, especially when she was traveling and staying on her own.
Not wanting to be rude the girl nodded. “No. I don’t mind,”[/b] she replied. Well she could look on the bright side, at least he was not human. He was safe, but she wondered if she was. The one disadvantaged to being on ones own literally all one’s life, was that you never really knew who to trust, especially when that one had more power over you. Sitting there now, she wondered what was next. Wait to live, die, think, act, be happy or sad, she was not so sure.
“Sorry, no I do not,”[/b] she replied, “I just came over from the America’s where I originally come from. Louisiana.”[/b] She added the Louisiana part, if her slight accent did not give her to far away. He seemed nice and friendly enough, then again most people were until they tried to hurt you. Strange places of this world did not help. When it came to laws and wonder of this new world of hers, she was not sure. Property laws, about going and not going where you were or were not suppose to go to; for example, the rumors about some old coven being kicked out of high power, and new vampires taking their place. She did not know the names of anything just rumors of passing by vampires. Yeah she needed a vampire history lesson, or take a vampire 101 course, if only that was easier said then done.
Looking up as he mentioned the castle she was curious. Before she could speak about hearing that the so-called leaders of the vampire world lived there. Fiere tried to hid the small shock on her face as he mentioned he owned there. Yeah best not to shock her to often, as since this happened a small shock, jumped from the one hand she was hiding, to the one in her lap, and she jumped slightly, looking away, from this reaction. “Sorry… I mean…Really? I mean are you sure?” she was hesitant, not sure what to expect.

Complete nervous ran from her he thought as he sat down…she had to be and as he looked into her eyes he confirmed it “your new” he said slowly his eyes never leaving hers. Debating for a moment as he watched her power he stood slowly and walked up behind her “relax I am here to help” he said quietly and rested his hands on hers “focus the energy” he whispered to her “focus it into your hands” he explained it quietly his eyes soft “you can do this” he whispered to her and smiled “just focus” he kept pushing hoping to see how she would handle it.
Giving her some room he moved and sat down “try focusing it into a shape like a small ball” he whispered quietly. He wanted to see her succeed and he had worked with powers in the past that took focus to shape them. Closing his eyes he sighed quietly and smiled “come to the castle and see what we have my dear if interested you are more then welcome to stay” he smiled lightly “we can help you gain insight into…things now” he offered her with a smile. He did want to help her and it showed in his eyes he could see promise in her even now to help her true potential…in his hands of course.
He had always liked power and it showed at times when you got to know him if he let you. A small smile crossed his lips for a moment as he closed his eyes and relaxed slowly in the chair and leaned back. She was a find someone that if allowed to could harness her and then it would be a gift he didn’t have and that was unacceptable. Smiling lightly he offered his hand as he stared into her eyes and gave her a reassuring smile “let us show you just how great you can be my dear you wont regret it” power was almost always tempting and he wondered if she would be the same as many before her had been.
He had started the frame work many years ago when the Volturi had been assured that their powers were assured and they would have the world to themselves. The Romanian Coven had been the perfect cover while they had been the main threats he had worked quietly behind the scenes and then when he had seen a opening it was over the scout and everything had worked….now he was where he belonged and Aro was dead and turned to ash….everything was right in the world.

She nodded. Everything inside her told her to run before it was to late. It was not like he was a innocent human, then again she did not know how innocent he actually was not. Fiere, was not your typical, old fashion, vampire, somewhat teenager. She was innocent in the since that she hid her fear, like now, very well. Apparently nerves, where immune to this factor. The gut feeling inside her, was the exact opposite of the one she had Alex. Where was he, when she needed his opinion? She hated being naïve, but not having any clue if she was or not.
Fiere was not sure what to do or say, as she felt a slight but sudden movement behind her. She froze, thinking death was at her neck sooner rather then later. She was backed up against a tree. Terror at the fact that she was soon to be murdered, just like her roommate, and her roommate’s friends. A scream had never left her lips, as the venom rushed through her veins, her blacking out in the process… Fiere shook the sudden flashback from her mind. Focus? Uh right she could do that. If she couldn’t, this whole place would be burning by now. Fiere took a silent breath, before trying to focus on what it was she was doing. It helped some, but she hated trying to focus, as it seemingly took more energy then she wanted to give.
Focusing was easier said then done, especially when someone was watching. She just hoped that she wouldn’t erupt in flames. She took a silent deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment, opening her closed fist, trying to relax. She imagined, what she had only dreamed of her whole life. Being accepted into this world in which she belonged to. That ball of flame encircled her hand lightly before fading, something that had not really happened before. She opened her eyes, as the heat died from her, and looking around slightly, smiled lightly to herself. Did that really just happen? Surly it did.
Looking up at Chris, he seemingly read her thoughts. Was he a mind reader? Was this at all ironic that this was happening now? He seemed…trustworthy enough. He seemed like he wanted to help. Was she desperate enough for acceptance, and fearful enough of her power that she would follow this complete stranger. Well what didn’t kill her made her stronger, then again he could kill her… she looked around them, as if expecting someone or something to come out to meet them, but it didn’t. At this time in her life, she would take any hand offering help. But what happened after? How would she be able to repay him for this kindness. “I wouldn’t want to interfere, and besides I don’t have anything to offer in return for your generosity,”[/color] she admitted.

He could see it in her eyes that she wanted this a small smile coming to his lips as he listened to her concerns his eyes softened slightly “I ask for none but if you feel comfortable stay and join us” he offered her his eyes on hers as he sighed “we are growing my dear we have everything you could ever want” he rested his hands on the table as he looked down “a warm castle, TV and all the food you could ask for and then some” he put emphasis on the word food as he sighed quietly “we understand what your going through let us help you” he smiled lightly and looked into her eyes his own soft.
Repayment the word made his hand twitch and he found himself glancing her over from head to as far down as he could without looking to obvious “perhaps we can figure something out if you desire” he offered. It would be in her court now and he would see how far he could push her without going to far. He tried to see where things would go some like Adia he had wanted for awhile but did not act true he had grown fond of her over the course since she had joined him but she was just one of many on the list…and this one he didn’t mind adding….not one bit at all he thought a small devilish smile coming to his lips.
God she was tempting he could have taken her right here if he had put his mind to it. He was sure he could silence anyone that would have a problem. Closing his eyes he paused and shrugged “but first let me show you what we can do for you” he offered her. If she was impressed he was sure that he could convince her when he had touched her Aro’s power had told him as much she seemed starved for understanding and someone to help her and he could take advantage of that. He almost wanted to rub his hands together in anticipation of how many ways he could develop and use her powers to his advantage but first he had to win her over.
He knew where to push here and it helped “you would be welcomed with open arms and we know what your going through dear you wouldn’t have to be alone” he kept his voice soft as he watched her face. He held no fear towards what he said she seemed to be mostly alone besides a boy who had come to her thoughts briefly which made him wonder if he could find a second one “you would be safe and able to learn and get out of the chaos that you must be experiencing at times…even perhaps to where you could have a very normal life” there it was out the ultimate temptation he dangled the carrot and now it was her chance to take it.

Fiere was full of wonder, full of what ifs. She was still hesitant about this sudden offer. He seemed full of answers, persistent, and wanting to help. And she wanted help. She wanted freedom from this trapped world inside her and her mind. She suddenly felt as if weight of her very own thoughts had finally been lifted off of her. Another thought occurred to her, what if she wanted to leave? For a little while at least. Would she be free to come and leave when she wanted? That is how she had lived her life anyways, for the past forty-one years. Minus Alexander and her old roommate back in the late year of 1989. The look of a young girl, shook her head mentally; that was the past.
Was this truly what she wanted? To be accepted as the person, or rather someone she was, yes. She had always been a odd-ball in the human world, staying alive, trying to live as an adult, even at such a young age, now she was living it in the vampire world too. It was not fair. The only way she thought about it, was ‘it could always be worse…’ Nodding, maybe, kind of, sort of, she grabbed her old worn bag, from beside her, “Well…it is not like the curiosum of curiosity killed the cat…”[/b] Fiere guessed that was her way of putting it, that she could and probably would give it a chance. Besides life, the girl didn’t have a thing to loose.
…welcomed with opened arms….wouldn’t have to be alone….safe and able to learn….have a very normal life. That did it. That was all she ever wanted out of life. A soft voice echoed in the back of her mind however: “What about Alexander?” Later, she told herself. She would worry and deal with him later. After all, she had all the time in the world. She smiled a bit and nodded, once more. “I would like that, very much sir,” she replied looking up at him, her golden eyes bright.

He could tell he had her everything was falling into his clutches and he knew it took all he had not to have a smirk on his face as he watched her she wanted this and when he had dangled the carrot in front of her nose and she had taken it. Taking a breath he slowly leaned back and watched her as she accepted now he would have to play on what he had picked up “if you have people you know they are more then welcome to join us” he said and smiled lightly at her as he rested his hands on the table and slowly relaxed. The one good thing that he had gotten from Aro was the fact that his power told him what he needed and then it was just his job to sort the info and use it to his advantage it was simple enough.
When she called him sir he smiled “call me Chris dear its okay” he assured her in a sort voice “I will not hold you there either” he whispered “if you were to decide to leave then you will be allowed out I want the people I have around me happy and if it is not with us then I have no right to hold you back” he said calmly. Now he kept his hands to himself he had what he needed from her thoughts and how to handle her as he smiled at her as he looked into her eyes his own calm and relaxed “you should not be nervous my dear you should be excited you have a new lease on life and can be happy which you deserve” he smiled lightly as he looked deeply into her eyes.
He smiled lightly “ready for a tour?” he asked her as he saw her bright eyes he reached across and ran his fingers along her cheek. Despite the fact he had used her thoughts to bring her in as he saw her bright eyes he smiled “I’ll personally do everything I can to make sure you can succeed at your goals” he said and smiled at her. He liked her she had one of those personalities that one could die for and even though he was not in love with her he had taken a special interest in her and the thought made him lick his lips as he stood and offered her his hand “may I my lady?” he asked her with a smile.

Chris, she thought putting the name in the back of her mind. He really seemed to read her mind, something she was not sure if she liked or not. Than again she was most of her a life a loner. Would she just be bold enough to ask if he had that power, of mind reading? Yes, because that was the type of girl she was. “Chris…if you don’t mind me asking…what is your power? Mind reading?” she asked. Surly if he wanted to help her, and has helped others, he had a power himself. It was usually rare for vampires to have powers, but not uncommon. Especially from around the world. As she looked at him, she looked away quickly, letting some small pieces of hair fall in front of her face, as she simply nodded.
Fiere nodded again. “I would like that very much thank you,” she replied with a small smile. Was this really happening? Acceptance, with out a doubt? This seemed to good to be true. Also the fact that this just fell into her lap, very suddenly. Well it was not like she could die, if vampires could. And if they could, she didn’t know about it. She looked down, nodded, and took his hand, not sure of what was a head of her.
“So how did you require all of this wondrous land?” she questioned, as the castle up head became bigger. She never thought she would ever got to explore something like this, even in her own life time.

There was the tricky one when someone asked what he did as a power he never knew how to explain since it would make most uneasy when it come to him being able to steal someone’s power and use them against the owner was enough to make a person squirm but he knew he would have to be honest with her to a point “I am a multitalented person you could say I take powers” he said calmly “and can make them my own when needed” he said softly “you will be on our side I wont take yours” he said as he rested his hand on her shoulder and squeezed gently in a reassuring way.
He nodded and walked out with her his hands going into his pockets as he hummed quietly “I found the castle in despair not that long ago it needed work and fixed it up before going ahead with our plans and building the pure ones” he explained after a few moments. He had united a group that may have never been unless they had a goal. He didn’t need a female pulling all of the strings together and the goal had made them the powerful group they were now everyone was happy and that what mattered they had the world at their fingertips…it was perfect.
Closing his eyes he smiled and opened the door to the castle and smiled “ladies first my dear” he said softly. He liked her and when she was a part of the group he would make sure he had his claws in her by the end of the week…she would be his and his alone loyal to a tee if he had his way as he smiled lightly he looked inside the darkness “we have some humans that will be brought in later that you can enjoy as well” he said and smiled slightly looking into her eyes.

Fiere watched him for a moment. He seemed, was it hesitant? Only someone who read her thoughts exactly, like he did, had to have a power, right? Or was she just to easily read? She watched him for a moment, as he seemed to be looking for the right words. Fiere was not sure to be cautious or not at this point. When he told her what he did, she didn’t freeze, then automatically moved backwards, nervously, before he could finish, not before though as he touched her shoulder. She couldn’t say a word for awhile after that.
Pure ones? she thought. Was that what he called his clan? Interesting, thought she. Where they the top vampires? No there couldn’t be anyone above anyone else, or could there be? Fiere, obviously needed a vampire history lesson. She tilted, unwarily to the side, as she did when she was confused, and tried to figure things out.
She smiled, not really sure if it was out of nervousness….yeah that was it. She began to look around, taking in every design, shape, corner and stone. It was beyond belief, that someone like her, can be in this place. She looked up at the sound of Chris’s voice. “Humans? Why would they come here?”[/b] She asked, stopping and looking up at him, his eyes a dark red….no that had to be the light…like outside.. surly he didn’t… her golden eyes looked up slightly horrid, slightly confused. “Surly you don't..."[/b] she couldn't finish her sentence as she shook her head, more trying to convince herself.
