   Lucy didn't understand why she had gone to so much trouble getting ready this was just a bonfire, she played nervously with the wolf necklace, she had bought in california, As she walked up to where Seth had told her to go, She saw Jake, before she could get to where he had been standing he had gone inside. She had stood there for, what felt like, an eternity trying to decide if she should go knock on his door, she wished she had worn sneakers. She felt overdressed with her open work flats. She had settled on a spaghetti strap denim dress, to show off her tan, and a light sweater to keep her warm until Seth arrived.
The tall, slender, blonde took a deep breath. Counted to three before heading to the steps of the small house, it was similar to Seth's but Seth had said Jake's was the only one painted red. The squeaky step caught her off guard as she stepped on it and she nearly fell back as it startled "Calm Down, Lucy, I am sure he's no one to be nervous around." she mumbled to herself as she got to the door and knocked on the door she had convinced herself no one was going to answer the door and she was about to turn and go wait next to the fire when she heard the door and she was startled by the sound and nearly lost her footing. Not Nearly as embarrassing as falling down the steps at Collinwood. It had taken such a long time for the family living in the house to believe that no one had pushed Lucy she had, she had only fallen down the steps because had miscounted and stepped over the bottom two steps and twisted her ankle. What had followed after that accident was having a cot moved into the Portrait Gallery room. Lucy had had such hard time sleeping because Collinwood was haunted and sleeping in the gallery with all the portraits of the post was just disturbing. She had asked to sleep in the Servant's Quarters. But no, that would have been improper, for the only young woman in the Collins Family to sleep in the little bedroom off the kitchen.
She felt a strong, warm hand grab her wrist and she looked at Jacob, "I am sorry the door startled me. Sometimes I am a little Jumpy it comes from growing up where I did." she explained to Jacob Black, "You must be Jacob Black, Seth's Pack Alpha. I've seen you at Bonfires. But since i haven't lived in Washington very long I was not sure how to introduce myself to You. Until Now." she said with a nervous smile. "Right, in case he doesn't often think my name, while on Patrol, I am Lucy Mills." she explained
Then she paused "I hope Seth will arrive soon." she said as she pushed back the memories of Collinwood, and locked them up like so man secrets in the little rooms in the dark mansion she had grown up in.

 Reaching over the back of the couch, Jake fished for a small blanket. If he had to sit there and wait this long, he felt more than able to take a quick power nap. "Dammit Seth." He mumbled to himself, sliding down into a scrambling position of the sofa. He wasn't one who had enjoyed sleeping normal. In fact, he was always all over the bed.
Finally able to shut his eyes in peace, he nuzzled his face into the side cushion trying to drown out as much noise as possible. Jake's eyes slowly began to shut. Everything he had head was now distant from his thoughts. A slight haze came across his dream, and a faint knock. Glancing all around himself, all he could see was his fellow pack members. Everyone of them ran like crazy through an open field. Flowers were blooming everywhere, and a sweet summer smell had filled the air. Right next to Jake stood his ever loving, Renesmee. Her soft hand caressed his. And her long brown curls moved in all different directions due to the slight breeze. It was relaxing. Calming nonetheless.
Again came the loud pounding. Jake found himself awoken from his soothing dream. Letting out a loud grunt, he tossed back the blanket and jumped from the sofa. Making, not even a few steps, he found himself standing at the door. Reaching for the knob, he quickly turned it and pulled back. There in front of him stood a rather beautiful young girl. Her hair was a beautiful shade of blond, that reached clear down to the center of her back.
Before she could even get off of the step, Jake grabbed hold of her wrist stopping her head in her own tracks. Why she was walking away, he didn't know. Not saying a word, he watched as she had jumped. It wasn't the fact she had jumped because he grabbed her, it was more the door opening and the loud obnoxious noise it had made. "I am sorry the door startled me. Sometimes I am a little Jumpy it comes from growing up where I did." Jake gave off one of his friendly smiles. Releasing grip on her arm. "You must be Jacob Black, Seth's Pack Alpha. I've seen you at Bonfires. But since i haven't lived in Washington very long I was not sure how to introduce myself to You. Until Now."
With one of his biggest, most friendliest grins, he stood up against the house. His hands lay firmly in his pockets. "That would be me." He assured her. "The one and only Jacob Black." Watching as she just stood there, he had begun to think back. Of course her face did look utterly familiar from all of those parties, but he didn't pay too much attention to anything. "Right, in case he doesn't often think my name, while on Patrol, I am Lucy Mills." Reaching out, he grabbed her hand shaking it gently. "I hope Seth will arrive soon."
Jacob jumped off the front porch, motioning for her to follow him. "I'm sure he will be here soon. He is always late when coming to my house." It was a true fact. There would be a few times Seth would even be late to a pack meeting. Now that would really get Jake going, but nothing this small. Making their way over to the fire, he made himself comfortable on top of a rock. Looking back to Lucy, he pointed over to the stump right next to him. "Might as well take a seat. He could be a while."

Lucy laughed as she looked at Jake "I am not really sure why I was expecting you to be more intense. I think Because Leah makes me uncomfortable that I thought you would be the same way," the young woman explained to the other shifter "So how long have you known Seth," she blushed "That's probably a pointless question considering you're both in the same tribe," she said and then she followed him to where the fire was, "Am I welcome here because I am Seth's Imprint. He showed me his wolf form on our first date he was afraid i would be frightened it was a little odd but i knew i could trust him." she said
She sat on one of the logs "I wasn't sure how to dress. I feel a little overdressed." it was a casual dress but she still felt a little overdressed, she looked at him and smiled, "is this Bonfire going to have food i was too nervous to eat and I am a little hungry." she explained while blushing, she took a deep breath she could tell that a rain storm would be arriving within the next few days because the energy in the air was somewhat different from it was, normally, then of course that could just be because she was alone with Jake. She knew Seth respected Jake. "What's it like being an alpha?" she suddenly asked, she was really curious about that, she couldn't imagine the mental strength it took to get anyone to listen to what you were saying. Even on days she volunteered at the day care center, she was only confident enough to be alone when she knew the children were about to take a nap and they were generally well behaved after nap time.
The young blonde looked at the tall slender shifter and blinked a few times "I hope that doesn't sound random. I couldn't think of anything," she still marveled at how fast Seth had managed to contact all the parents when Lucy had been grabbed by the Vampire who had claimed his name was Christopher Hope. She wasn't sure what she thought about that, she knew he had said she could walk away, but she knew from all the stories floating around Collinsport, Maine and From her Short Stay in Haven, Maine, that sometimes things were not what they appeared to be. No one would believe her if she ever told anyone about Haven, Maine. She was glad she had written about it in her journal or the memories would have driven her insane.
Sometimes Lucy felt like she was being too much of a pushover when she apologized for being herself, She had never understood why. Everything seemed to feel right after she left Collinwood. She smiled at Jake "I am sorry if I woke you. Seth said if no one was out here to knock on the door," she explained to Jake Black.

Today was the day he thought as he drove towards the house and knew that he was running late. The patrol had become messy when he had been out and about and a rain storm had hit him and the cloths he had tied to his legs were filthy so he had gone home and gotten a shower and then changed before leaving. As he pulled up he got out and walked up the way. He knew Lucy was here because he could see her car and he knocked and then opened the door “hey guys?” he asked them after a few moments. He usually waited but the door had been unlocked and he knew she was inside. He smiled as he saw Jake and nodded “hey Jake” he said and nodded “Leah is out and about” he told Jake and then went to Lucy and hugged her “hey Lucy” smiling he kissed her cheek and looked into her eyes a smile on his face.
She had been on his mind constantly since the two had found each other it was interesting at times how well they had bonded over the time that they had been around each other. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and that would be obvious as to the change in Seth. While he had been worried about school and one day leaving now he had a reason to stay a anchor of sorts when it came to things he hoped that she would give him a reason to stay…a part of him was a part of the pack a large one and he had fought against himself for a long time even though he had seemed to make up his mind his heart was torn and she was putting it back together “what have you two been up to?” he asked them after a few moments.
Sitting down by Lucy he smiled lightly and wrapped his arms around her shoulder “I hope all is well” he admitted. He knew that things had been a bit hard when he had said he was leaving for college and he couldn’t find himself able to look Jake in the face. His mind had been wandering back to the vacation that they had taken together so that he could explain everything that came with being a imprint but mostly it had been the time when he had been able to get his thoughts back together “listen Jake..im sorry” he said after a few moments and stared at the ground.

Lucy was sitting watching the shadows dance and she smiled at Seth walked up "You look handsome." the young blonde had been trying to figure out how to tell her beloved that she may be pregnant, she didn't want to buy and test and take sitting alone in her apartment. She looked at him "A kiss on he cheek afraid to kiss me normally in front of your Alpha." she said as she walked over to him and kissed him passionately on the lips. Her hormones had been out of whack since they returned to La Push from California and she had attributed the fact that weather was so depressing here.
She grinned when he asked what they had been up to,the fact was they had settled in a comfortable silence because Lucy couldn't think of anything to say without talking about seth "Nothing much i am just waiting for food." she grinned and took his hand, the fact she hadn't even gotten a pregnancy test she was too nervous to go into a drug store and buy one, alone, she looked into his eyes. She knew no matter what everything would be alright, she looked into his eyes and whispered "Have you been thinking about California too?" she hoped he wasn't thinking about their first time together while in wolf form while his pack mates could see his thoughts.
She found herself wondering if shifters could sense a change in the body of their imprints. She smiled as he wrapped his arm around her "I am just glad you're here." she grinned "You smell good. you must have gone home and taken a shower. you used that body wash i got you. You Smell like watermelon and cucumber." she ran her fingers through his hair and rested her head on his shoulder "after this over and i want to go to the drug store and get a few things." she said she giggled she hoped Jake wouldn't tease Seth for using Body wash.
She rested her head against him, she wasn't sure what would happen if she was pregnant, what would Seth do. She looked at him she was trying to imagine him as a father. She smiled she had never been one to imagine herself as a mother, but now that she was faced with the very real possibility that she was going to issue forth a new life. "I really had fun in california, that's the first time in my life i've ever allowed myself to relax that much." she smiled "I love you Seth, I am glad you are keeping the area safe." she said as she placed her hand over his heart.
