I Ain't Gonna Be Just A Face In The Crowd You're Gonna Hear My Voice When I Shout It Out Loud • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •It was a warm and sunny day, not rainy which was rare. Nikita decided that she was going to use this nice day to do some cliff diving. She was standing in her room, as she placed a pink bikini, some jean shorts, and pink flip flops in a bag, along with a hair tie. She zipped the bag before heading outside and into the line of trees once she was safely into the forest she placed the bag down and phased. She picked her bag up in her mouth before taking off in a sprint toward the cliffs. She loved running, she loved the wind blowing through her fur, and the sounds sticks and other things made as the crunched under her paws. She'd not done nothing fun in a long time, she was always grounded. Even though she was 18 and a legal adult, her grandparents treated her like she was a kid and grounded her when ever she 'sunk out'. Of course she was leaving to patrol and keep them safe from vampires, but she didn't tell them that.
Once she reached the cliffs, she phased back and quickly put her clothes on. This whole losing her clothes when she phased was really getting old, she'd lost alot of her favorite shirts because of her temper. She pulled her hair back in a messy bun before walking over to the edge of the cliff, she looked down and then jumped. The water was ice cold when she hit it, but she kicked and made her way to the surface. Nikita went back up to the top of the cliffs before deciding she just wanted to sit here. Like it always does when ever she has time to think, thoughts of Cody her abusive boyfriend slowly creeped into her mind. Before she started phasing, no one knew about what all he'd done to her, but now thanks to the mind like she shared with her pack they all knew. And that wasn't an easy thing for Nikita, she didn't like people knowing there was once a time she wouldn't stand up for herself.
She leaned against a tree, pushing all bad thoughts from her mind, she wasn't going to dwell on anything in the past it was done and over with. Today was going to be a good day, she had already decided, that she was going to sock anyone in the nose who tried to ruin this day. A warm breeze whipped around her, drying her all but her now damp hair. She pulled the hair tie from it and started trying to comb through it with her fingers so it wouldn't look completely horrible when it fully dried. She leaned her head back against the tree, before falling off in a light sleep. It's My Life It's Now Or Never I Ain't Gonna Live Forever I Just Want To Live While I'm Alive • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Tag ;; Leah ClearwaterOutfit ;; ClickyWord Cout ;; UncountedNotes ;;Now It's all pretty =)Lyrics ;; It's My Life- Bon Jovi

Shifting wasn’t exactly an option for Leah right now. There was too much going on in her life that needed to stay secret. She didn’t need people finding out about her and Jake. Unfortunately, Seth had figured out long ago how Leah felt about their alpha… again… because this was the second alpha that Leah had fallen for, but he was the only one who knew she had feelings for Jacob Black. Absolutely no one knew that they’d slept together. It was completely unacceptable because she was his Beta and they had both imprinted. The fact that she had imprinted couldn’t be hidden. There were advantages and disadvantages to sharing thoughts with the pack. The major disadvantage was that it wasn’t always willingly that you gave up information. And since Jake agreed that they had to be very careful, both of them were shifting less. Their patrols were always separate and usually they went alone. They got away with this only because they also did pack things in their human form and because Jacob was the alpha and Leah was the beta. No one questioned them because that wasn’t how things were supposed to work.
Speaking of not working, it felt like that was the situation with her brain. She just couldn’t seem to concentrate. Leah had been sitting at her messy desk in her room trying to work out the patrol schedule for the next month. When she looked at the clock she realized that she’d been sitting there for over an hour and hadn’t written anything down. At that point she threw the desk calendar and her pen across the room and stood up, going to her closet and rummaging through her summer clothes to find a little bikini, throwing it on and immediately deciding that cliff diving would be a great way to get rid of this stupid adrenaline. She needed the rush. The bikini she chose was a tan color with green tints, though when put against her tan skin she was knew that from a distance it wouldn’t look like she was wearing anything. She threw on a pair of short jean shorts and threw a towel in a beach basket. She slipped on a pair of green flip flops, though it would have been just as easy to head out without shoes at all, then grabbed the keys to her car and drove for the cliffs. She parked in the visitors parking area and started jogging toward the cliffs through the forest. As said earlier, shifting wasn’t an option. Good thing she was just as good at running in human form.
To her disappointment, Leah wasn’t the only person there when she made it to the cliffs. Nikita was already there. Seeing the other female wolf (in human form of course) was both a relief and a complication. Relief because Leah was genuinely glad that she wasn’t the only female going through this whole shifting mess, but complicated because she couldn’t really confide in the girl. “Hey, Nik.” Leah wasn’t especially friendly with anyone, but she put on a good show when she needed to. She didn’t really have much against Nikita, but her life was just so messed up right now to give a damn about anyone else. Selfish maybe, but that was how it was. tag: nikita words: --- notes: --- credits: template by me ;; lyrics "when you're gone" avril lavigne
