Charlie had finished questioning Bree and it turned out to be a very interesting questions but not the right answers Charlie was looking for . So He got back in his cruiser and got his phone out of the pants pocket and dialed the number for the police department.Charlie” yeah I followed the tip and nothing came out it.I am going to head in town to pick up some stuff for the case and then I will be in ther” Then he ended the call. He turned the cruiser on and backed up in the drive of the cullens .Then he drove out of the drive and turned to the right and headed back into town. After ten to the fifteen minutes he passed the city limits and crossed into town. Then he saw something he had not seen in close to two years. It was the pale faced Emmett Cullen and he was doing something that made Charlie look at him curiously. Then he pulled up close to the sidewalk and rolled his window down. He turned his head to the side and said” Hey Edward haven’t seen you in a while.So how has your family been doing. “
Charlie paused for a few moments and then said” Well I just came from your house and talked to someone I believe her name was Bree. She was nice and courteous. It seems like the charm I grew to realize from your family has rubbed off on her.

Edward had been walking through town, and picking up a few clothes, and such that Alice insisted he buy. So of course, he had to. His feet were silent and quick as he walked. He felt eyes' watching him, and he looked up and over to see Charlie. "Oh no.." Edward said with disappointment. They hadn't talked to Charlie for quite some time now. They had been avoiding him since his daughter was now a blood sucking vampire. Charlie intended on speaking to him though, and the blood was a bit overwhelming. He didn't smell as good as Bella, but since that was her father he had that hint of satisfaction to him. Edward's eyes were a bit dark since he hadn't fed for a few days. Edward heard Charlie speak, and he stopped.
"I know sorry for the distance. We're all trying to get settled in. We've all been pretty good, I suppose you could say." Edward said cautiously. He had hidden two 'missing' children. What was said was to be watched. The next thing made Edward's eyes widen just a tad bit. Oh no, he found out about Bree. "Ah yes, Bree. She's a very sweet child. Thank you chief, we try to be as courteous as possible. How has life been lately, since you know..." Edward was referring to taking Bella away from him.
Charlie was a nice guy, and he meant well. Edward knew that of course. Charlie was a father though, so therefore he felt the need to protect his daughter. Edward understood, and now that they had nessie, he understood completely. As if Edward didn't want already rip Jacob apart, now the little mutt was trying to hurt his daughter as well. He'd better watch himself. Edward's eyes glanced around, and he listened to Charlie's thoughts'. Edward wasn't to pleased, but didn't show any sign of knowing what he did.

Charlie had been driving along down the streets of Forks and happen to see Edward in which he had not seen for a while. He stopped and said something to him. Edward had walked towards him and apologized for the distance they had made between them and Charlie. Edward said that they have been trying to get settled in and that all have been pretty good. Charlie said” well considering the certain issue that involves Nessie I would say I am halfway decent myself if you could say so. “ Then Edward spoke about Bree in saying that she is a sweet child and he thanked Charlie for the compliment. Then Charlie said” Yeah I know you guys are courteous and that is one reason I am happy for isabella. Just treat her well and protect my granddaughter or as the public sees it my adopted granddaughter. My life other than that is good. I have someone I love dearly. I know it will be tough but life is not always easy. Sue is a wonderful lady and she treats me well.”
Charlie continued with” I never did know why you and jake act like you hate each other. In my opinon it would have something to do with the fact that he always loved bella. In a way my family is related to one of Jake’s tribe . Did you know that I have a new trainee trying to be a deputy. It is Quil Ateara and he is catching on quick.
