Alyssa stared out at the open sky in Alaska. She closed her eyes as the wind blew on her face. She had been wanting to go home for some time now. She had been thinking about it of course. So it came to no surprise when her Aunt Alice had shown up where she was. She had a long talk with her Aunt Alice. Alyssa had told her about not being able to take all the fighting anymore that was tearing her family apart. If they didn't want her to be happy then fine she won't. But she absolutly would not stay there and watch Chris McCloud move on with his life while she stayed frozen forever watching him. She just could not do it. So she had left leaving them only with a note.

The days were long and lonley to Miss. Alyssa Cullen. She yearned to be with her family again. So when her aunt talked to her Alyssa promised to think it over. After careful consideration Alyssa decided to come back. She of course had to hunt before going back which she did. Alyssa could not wait to see her family. She wondered if they were upset with her. Her Aunt Alice said they were all worried about her. She would soon see for herself.

Soon after two months of being gone Alyssa was back in Forks, Washington. The weather was a bit stormy which was good for Alyssa. She ran straight home and into the house. She took a sniff and smiled glad to be back. She looked around for a bit wondering where everyone was. She hoped they would be happy to see her. She missed them all terribly. Hello. I'm back she said out the the house. Alyssa bit her lower lip waiting.

Alice was in her and Jasper's room straightening her closet. If she didn't do this every so often she'd forget what clothes she had bought, and might accidentally get another of the same exact thing. She was putting a dress on a hanger when she had a vision. She saw Alyssa leave a not saying she was coming home, and then she saw Alyssa entering the Cullen home. When the vision ended she smiled excitedly. Alyssa was coming home at last. She had been worried about the girl. It seemed like their family had grown a bit apart lately. Alyssa was gone. Rosalie was sulking, because she missed her daughter. Jacob who had imprinted on Nessie was seeing Leah Clearwater. Now there was something Alice truly did not approve of. After everything Leah had been through when Sam had imprinted on Emily one would think she would learn, but no she hadn't learned a thing. True Nessie didn't see Jacob in that light yet, but Alice was fairly sure that one day Nessie would. When that happened Jacob's feelings towards Nessie would change. In a way she almost pitied Leah, because it seemed like the girl was destined for heart break.

Alice cleared those thoughts from her head, and ran downstairs. Alyssa was back home at last! When Alyssa walked into the house Alice jumped and hugged her as soon as she spotted her. "You're back! Oh we've missed you so much! Don't worry us like that again missy! You've eaten recently correct? Or do we need to go hunting. Oh wait till Rose sees you are home. I swear she has been sulking ever since you left. Is this just a visit or are you staying?" If someone didn't know Alice was a vampire they might have thought she had too much sugar from the rate she was talking.

Emmett had been driving around town catching some fresh air and he stopped at a flower shop. He parked his jeep wrangler by the sidewalk, turned the keys so the engine would turn off. he placed the keys in his pocket and then stepped out of his jeep. He closed the door , walked around the jeep onto the sidewalk, and finally arrived at the door, he looked both ways and then opened the door. He stepped inside and started looking at some flowers that were in the display window.He saw daffodils, tulips, and mums and shook his head no. He turned to walk some more in the shop and he spotted some roses. There were black, red, or white to choose from. He was not getting the black roses so picked a few red roses and a few white roses. He walked to the counter and paid for the roses and the clerk wrapped the bottom up in a protective paper and tied the bottom together. He handed the roses back to emmett and then emmett made his way outside and into his jeep.

Emmett turned the jeep on and drove away in the direction of home. He was hoping that rose would like these flowers. He turned the radio, found a cd of songs he liked and had burnt onto . Then he slid it into the cd player. He started listening to them. As he drove along the roads memories came back to him and he remembered the day that rose begged carlisle to save him by turning him. He really loves rose and would do anything for her. He finally made it home. He pulled in the driveway. He turned his jeep off and walked inside and as he opened the door he said in a loud voice" Anyone home ." He had the flowers behind his back waiting to see if rose was home. Then Emmett jogged up the stairs with the roses in his hand.Then Emmett laid down on his unnecessary bed with headphones on listening to a cd made up of confederate type music. He closed his eyes and leaned back on the headrest enjoying his music. He caught a scent and knew someone was in the house . He knew jasper was already in the house and thought it may be him. He put his arms behind his head and was singing along to the music and then he caught another scent but this was a different one. He took the headphones off and he heard voices. He got off the bed and walks to the door and listens and the voices sounded like jasper and alyssa but alyssa was gone and had been gone for a while now. He was curious so he walked out of his room and towards the stairs.

Emmett looked downstairs and there she was. His own daughter had come home . He jogged down the stairs and arrived in the front room.He gives Alyssa a big hug and Emmett said" Lyssa i cant believe it you are back. I have missed you so much. I am sorry I drove you away . It will not happen again because I have learned from my mistakes.
