A furry encounter( emmett, kelly)

Emmett was out back behind the cullen's mansion splitting wood with only a pair of blue jeans on and no shirt. His muscular chest was showing so all could see. After he split about 4 big chunks of wood. he would pick up the smaller pieces and stack the wood.. He darts off to the forest for a good for your body run. He zigs and zags around trees, jumps up on tree limbs and jumps from treetop to treetop. He drops down and speeds away again. He stops and he looks around and he catches a scent. It was not a vampire scent but a filthy mutt scent.

He knew he was near the stupid treaty line. He did not know why there had to be one anyways. He walked to the left a few yards. He knelt down and picked up moss and he sniffed it and then sped off forwards. He had to scare some deer and other animals away but he finally made it to the point that he hjad to stop. he sat down on a big rock. He picked up little stones and threw them onto the wolves land. He likes to see the rock bounce off any ole thing over there.Shifters and werewolves were known best for their disdain for bloodsuckers, That's what one gets when they watch their whole family get taken from him --- either slaughtered or just kidnapped --- by the abominations and has to live the rest of his life knowing he failed them all. Yeah, his patience with them was nonexistent.

Emmett was sitting on a log tossing stones and not caring where they landed or what others thought about it. He soon smelled a stench and he knew he must have got the attention of a mutt. It was getting closer and Emmett still throwing rocks.

Kelly was not in the best of moods. It was her turn to run patrol. Becoming a shifter was great and all but the patrol sucked. She was only the 2nd female known to become a shifter. Before her was Leah and Leah was great and all but sometimes she felt she was not completely welcome by her. But she knew one thing, she just had a whole new load of responsibilities with becoming a shifter. She had no clue what the guys felt about her but of course they were pleased somewhat because they could have more people patrol and have less worry. But she could guess they might be worried that she might go the same way as Leah did when Sam imprinted on Emily. She actually laughed at that. She found imprinting a waste of life, a waste of options, so she knew they would not have to worry about that.

As she closed in on the treaty line, Kelly was hit with a wave of stink. She was warned of this. If it was a vampire and it was on her land she would kill it. But she had to be aware on who the vampire was, too, for it might be a Cullen. She came within a couple hundered feet and squinted her eyes. Yep the scent was vampire. And she could see the Cullen mansion. She darted behind a tree and shifted to her human form. She threw her clothes on and started walking toward the treaty line. From the look of the Cullen, and if she remembered the descriptions she was giving...this had to be Emmett maybe? "So what is a Cullen up to now?" she said, grinning.

She wondered if he knew her. She was the newest pack member and all so she was really curious. If he could recognize any scent of Jacob maybe he would know she was a pack member. She certainly did not look like one. She wasn't really full Qulieate. Her grandmother tainted that. So now she was nly 3/4 Qulieate. She looked like a pale face. Taking after her grandfather. But she had the dark eyes they all had so that had to be a plus somehow. She did not have blond hair or anything either, she had dark brown. Another plus. "If you don't recognize me, I'm the newest recruit to the Jacob pack." she said grinning.

As Emmett continued to toss stones across the treaty line the wolf smell grew stronger with ever minute that passed by.Emmett was always ready to pick a fight and he knew that He had to protect their land from any opposing Quilete or different type wolves. As the other figure started coming closer he saw her in wolf form and he knew he would have to get ready for any sudden movement. Then the wolf darted behind a big tree and then a few minutes after that a young lady walked out from behind the tree and Emmett did not recognize the lady .She had the dark eyes they all had and she had dark brown hair. Then she said"If you don't recognize me, I'm the newest recruit to the Jacob pack." she said grinning.

Emmett listened to the female speak as she identified herself as a new member of jacob's pack. Emmett said" Well as you might have noticed as the scent of me hit your nose real hard I am a Vampire and yes I am a Cullen.I was just out for a stroll after cutting up some wood. It makes me look more stronger. I do not want people getting suspicous. That would not be good at all.I take it you are probably on patrol around your land. How is that mutt leader of yours."* then he picked up a stone and continued to skip stones just to pass the time away So when did you become a pack member of Jacob's. Either you are a relation to a quilete or they are recruiting from outside the pack which i doubt seriously."

Well i may be a vampire but that does not mean i have to be mean to any ladies of the opposing species. I was raised to respect and treat women with respect. Even though i was raised to treat women right that does not mean i would break any laws made. That is what goes with life. Sometimes we have to do stuff that is not right

She pretty much ignored the tid bit on his stength and suspiciousness. She laughed when he asked bout Jacob. "Jacob is fine actually. And I'm Kelly by the way." she said. She was really interested what he could possbily doing other than chopping wood. Before she could ask she ducked when a a few rocks came her way. "Watch it!" she growled.
"Very true. There is a lot of stuff I've done and it was not right. But I did it anyway. Like shifting for example my grandmother finds shifting terrible." she said.

Kelly looked at Emmett for awhlie and smiled. How is it that vampires seemed so normal to humans on a cloudy day. Despite their beauty. And their damn sickly sweet scent. Jacob was right, they stunk like hell. "God...ugh..." she muttered scrunching her nose up from the smell. "So what is with all this Pure One business? You guys aware of it?" she said curiously. It would be quite amazing if the leeches did not know about the PUre Ones. But then again, as much as she loved hutning them. She secretly adored ehr natural enemy. Which was quite hypocritical of herself. And she regretted being like that.

When Emmett brought up the Jacob topic kelly just chuckled and said that Jacob was actually fine Emmett said” just as long as he stays on that side he will not have a problem with me. “ After he finished talking he continued to fling rocks and one went whizzing by Kelly and she ducked and growled at Emmett Emmett said” Well I am just having fun but it is at your expense but fun noneheless.We all have done stuff that waqs not right either in our eyes or from someone elses. I agree with your grandmother on that one. I know vampires are inhuman but at least we do not change into a whole other being.” Then he saw Kelly scrunch up her nose and mutter something that Emmett could barely hear and she made a remark. Emmett did not know what the remark was about but knowing she scrunched up her nose it probably had to do with the scent.Then she asked him about the pure Ones and what was with that and if they knew about it.

Emmett said” There is hardly anyone that is either vampire or mutt that has not heard about the Pure Ones. If someone does say that then they are a liar. They are just thinking they are high and mighty since the Volturi fell at their feet. They just got lucky and anyone could have taken out the Volturi.Hey you got to have some enemies or this world would be a boring place.
