-Since she is somewhat of a neat freak, cleanliness is also something she has to accomplish. So cleaning is a big one
Understanding people is also another fantastic ability she carries with her.
secrets:
-Having Paul being a shifter bother's her immensely. She hides the fact that she hates it, and on certain days she wishes for him to be normal like her.
-Going through college, she was mentally (not abused) but distraught by her ex boyfriend who had used to always keep tabs on her and control her life. That was another reason to why she had wanted to come home.
-Just like any other girl, Rachel isn't miss innocent!
personality:
Sweet - Rachel is a sweetheart deep down, but her somewhat protective and confrontational demeanor makes it difficult for many to actually see it. She is very much Daddy's little girl had a very hard time being away from her family for so long. Rachel considers herself a very generous person and would do anything for someone who needs it whenever possible.
Feisty - Most days, Rachel is a sweet individual, but if you make her angry and she gains a mean streak that she isn’t proud of. It is particularly evident when something or someone is threatening her family; she is extremely feisty and can be very temperamental if people don't take her seriously.
Loving - Rachel is an extremely loving individual and it usually does take a good deal to get on her bad side. She is a genuine person and can get along with most people, although she often chooses to remain close to home now that she's home.
Independent - Coming back to La Push has proven to be a great challenge for Rachel, once again living under her father's rule hasn't proven to be the easiest thing in the world. Rachel is very independent and does not enjoy being told what to do ever; she prefers telling other what to do and how they should do it.
Protective - Losing her mother has turned Rachel into a very protective individual, her greatest fear is that she will lose another loved one and as a result she clings to everyone she cares for. She has become very fearful of the reckless ways of her brother and the other members on the reservation. Overall, Rachel has gotten much more nervous about the people around when it comes it their safety.
Loyal - Rachel is extremely loyal to the Quiluete Tribe and everyone on the reservation and she would do anything for them. They have been the only people in the world she trusts without thinking and every single one of them have become more and more like a family with every passing year. They have supported her after the death of her mother and she knows she could always turn to all of them if and when she needs them.
Responsible - She is very responsible often times finding herself taking care of most of the people around her, granted she still complains time to time. It was this fact that sent Rachel back to La Push, her worries about her father and her brother out weighting the nerves she bottled up about returning to the place where her mother had died. Rachel has placed herself in the mindset of caretaker of her family since her mother is no longer around.
Ambitious - Rachel has big dreams for her future that sometimes conflicts with her desire to help her father and brother. College had given her high reaching ideas about what she wants to do with her life and Rachel is still undecided. All she knows is that she wants to do something great in the world.
Intelligent - Rachel is very smart and is often too smart for her own good. While at the moment she is not aware of what is going on with her brother and the other boys of the tribe, she is suspicious of all the secrecy that seems to be going around.
Stubborn - She has a real problem with being told what to do and when to do it. Rachel likes to be in control and hates when someone challenges that control, of course, she is more likely to bite her tongue rather than start yelling. She has been known to disobey orders in the past only to play dumb about it later.
"Don't get your family slaughtered for pride."

mother: Sara Black, unkown, deceased
father: Billy Black, age, Quiluete Council Leader/ Commercial Fisherman
siblings: Rebecca Black, 25, Married.
others: Jacob Black, 19, Brother/ Alpha of his tribe.
history:
--Rachel was one of three children in her small, happy, content little family. Being the first born (Of twins) Rachel was Billy and Sara Black's first child. They had both loved the twins equally, not favoring neither one of them. Growing up, Rachel was a well behaved child. Sharing and caring was the first thing she had learned from her family. There was nothing selfish about her. (Although there were times when she would try and out-do her sister Rebecca, but that is not the point).
As the years began to pass them on by, Things had been going very well for the Black family. It was both Rachel and Rebecca's last year of High School, and they had also gained a brother (Jacob Black) Even though he was a few good years behind them, both Rachel and Rebecca would end up dressing him up like a girl, just for kicks and giggles. It was very entertaining for the both of them. On a random night, both her father and mother had decided to go on a ride around. Of course, It was dark and rainy. And the road conditions were not safe. But they left anyway.
Later on that evening, the children had gotten a phone call from the Sheriffs department. Their father Billy was severely injured, and their mother Sara was killed. It was a heartbreaking moment for Rachel. That wasn't something any young girl had wanted to hear. After seeing her father and realizing the conditions he was going through, it began to tear her down. All her spirits were crushed.
Months down the line, Rachel had received a scholarship from Washington State University. She accepted the scholarship and left both her brother and father behind, while Rebecca had went her own way by getting married.
Getting out early from college and finishing up her degree, Rachel had decided to move back to LaPush, even though the though of her mother dying there, killed her inside deeply. There Rachel moved in with her father and little brother. She was unaware of the existence of shape-shifters and Billy and Jacob were fully prepared to conceal the secret from her. But, as time began to roll on, Rachel had met Paul Lahote at the first beach. It was somewhat like love at first sight. Even though he was four years younger than her, she didn't mind at all. She was interested in seeing how far things would go, so she ended up staying.
"You will never put me through that again."

Rachel drove past the familiar rest stops and run down restaurants with a small smile pulling at the edges of her lips. It felt like ages since she had actually made this trip without an exit plan and a dull burning had settled into the pit of her stomach. This time, school wouldn’t pull her away from her family once more; large boxes of her personal belongings filled the trunk and spilled into the back seat, everything she had accumulated over the years. Rachel had decided to come home instead of fighting to find an apartment like most of her friends had chosen to do; it had been far too long since she had spent anything longer than a few weeks with her father and despite her fear of returning to the very place where her mother had died, she missed her father and her brother more. She wasn’t staying forever, but during this transitional period her reasons for staying away seemed to slowly fade away. Excuses, in her own mind she knew that’s all they were; excuses not to face the painful memories her mother’s death had left behind everywhere she turned.
The rumble of her car drowned out her own thoughts as she watched the road in front of her as the trees whipped by over and over. As she got closer and closer to the reservation the burning feeling in her stomach seemed to get stronger and stronger. Each store Rachel passed got more and more familiar, from the small drug store she used to stop at with her mother and sister when they went out for their walks on the weekends when the weather was nice to the restaurant they had gone to when Jacob had lost his last baby tooth. The memories sent chills down her spine and Rachel’s heart pounded nervously as she debated heading back before she got in too deep. It was the same ritual she went through every single time she returned since her mother died; the same fears, sorrow, and worries that always plagued her when she made this drive. There was something about La Push that Rachel could never seem to shake; even the air seemed to carry the smell of her mother’s perfume, Sarah Black was everywhere here.
As the miles between her and the reservation slowly spread out behind her, Rachel pulled her car down the familiar dirt road that threatened to make her hyperventilate. It was the same road her mother had been driving on when she died and her car filled into the trees leaving her unrecognizable. Taking deep breaths, she gripped the wheel until her knuckles turned white and trembled with the images of her mother’s car flashing between the trees. Brown eyes focused harshly on the road in front of her, starving for the light that broke between the trees. After what felt like an eternity, Rachel’s car broke through the edge of trees and the sight of the reservation filled her gaze. It was the same as it had always been, little children running around like rouge groups, old men sitting on the porches playing cards and smoking while the women called to them from open windows pouring out the smell of food.
For the first time since she had left school, Rachel smiled. The nerves and sorrow began to melt away as her home came into view; despite the memory of her mother, she couldn’t wait to see Jacob and her father. Rumbling to a stop, the car growled at her in exhaustion as she put it into park and pulled herself out into the warm air. It was deep and sweet as she drank it all in, everything was just as she had left it. The sound of a screen door banging pulled brown eyes to the front porch with a jump, “Hi Dad,” Rachel greeted weakly, “I’m home.”
