eyes: blue, makeup varies, sometimes she doesn’t wear any
hair: long, brown, naturally a bit curly, uses a straightening iron to flatten it sometimes
height: 5’4”
weight: 120 lbs
distinguishing features: several tatoos:
-”we will all laugh at gilded butterflies” on her shoulder blade
-”there once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her heart” on her side
-a crescent moon overlapping a five pointed star above the ankle
general appearance: Leah is a slim and small girl, but she’s tough and she looks it when she wants. She has a naturally tanned skin tone from her native american heritage. She has long brown hair that is down when she wants to look more like a girl and up when she has to be doing something. Her eyes are a startling blue, which was odd when they didn’t change to brown at birth because most full blood native americans have brown eyes. Her sense of style changes depending on her mood (which changes a lot). She prefers to wear short jeans and a tank top because of how hot she gets due to being a wolf. Sometimes she will wear dresses, but not very often. Leah’s philosophy is the less clothes, the better.
"I will always tell you the truth."

personality: To those who don’t know her (and to some who do), Leah is thought of as a sarcastic hard ass. She’s a tough cookie and knows it. She’s not afraid to get into a verbal or physical fight. She speaks her mind and sometimes that gets her into some trouble. She’s not afraid of a little blood and she certainly isn’t afraid of vampires. She’d much prefer it if vampires went extinct so she could get her life back to normal, or as normal as it ever was. She resents vampires because she believes they are the reason the wolves are the way they are.
Very few people get to see the other side of Leah, the side that is caring and loveable. Most people think this side of her died when Sam left her for Emily, but it is still there somewhere deep down. She genuinely cares about people, though she doesn’t really show it. She likes to have a good time, and the pack treating her like one of the guys is a good thing and a bad thing for her. Good because it’s nice to be accepted, bad because it means that’s all they see her as. She keeps these thoughts concealed as best she can when in wolf form to avoid being either yelled at or making the guys feel anymore awkward than they have to, now that she’s been allowed to stay in Jacob’s pack.

history: at least three detailed paragraphs
Leah was born a normal, happy girl on the La Push reservation. Her father was a member of the Tribe elders and her mother was a nurse at the local clinic. She was loved by both of her parents and everything was going to be just fine. She eventually even got a brother out of the deal. They were a normal native american family on the reservation. They went to school on the reservation, they had friends on the reservation. They went to the bon fires and heard the local stories. Who knew that the stories were true and would one day completely change the lives of several of the young people on the reservation forever?
Leah just happened to be one of those people. Her happy life continued through high school. She even had a great boyfriend. She had been steadily dating Sam Uley whom she was falling in love with. It seemed like everything was going to be really great for Leah. Until her boyfriend started acting all weird. He was becoming what some of the people in the nearby town of Forks called “iffy.” But the elders said he was a really stand up guy, taking care of things on the reservation even though he had disappeared for a really long time. Leah was concerned like no one could have been concerned. Her happy life was becoming complicated all of a sudden. Was Sam seeing someone else?
She got her answer when her second-cousin Emily came to visit one day and Sam left Leah for good. There was an attraction there that Leah just couldn’t understand; something she couldn’t be a part of. Her happy life was over. She felt hurt and very betrayed. The young woman was close to planning the murder of her own relative, until she realized she just couldn’t do that. So she put on a strong face and accepted what had happened.
Later, Leah found out exactly what had happened because she shifted as well. What sucked even worse was that she could see everything from Sam’s point of view, knew exactly how this situation was hurting him, because she was in his head when she was in wolf form. Annoying as hell. Being around Sam was even more unbearable now because not only did she know that Sam felt bad for what he had done to Leah, he also couldn’t leave Emily. Leah couldn’t even compete with Emily. Leah was in constant pain, and it didn’t make it any better that they were constantly patrolling. Leah didn’t actually mind being a werewolf, but even she had to admit that patrolling so often was a drag.
Not to mention this was all because of Bella Swan, Jacob’s best friend. Leah had started developing feelings for Jacob before she was a werewolf, but Jake’s feelings for Bella sort of destroyed that. Now Leah was in pain and Jacob was in pain. She thought that maybe that would bring them together, but for a long time, it seemed to just push them apart.
The big change in Leah’s life (well, second big change) came when Jacob created his own puny little pack and Seth went with him. Sam let Leah go home to tell Sue, but instead Leah debated with herself about joining Jacob’s pack herself, which she eventually did though she hated the fact that they were now the vampire protectors. She was much happier now in Jacob’s pack since she didn’t have to hear Sam’s thoughts. Not to mention her and Jake were getting closer. But then Renesmee came into the picture and Leah was broken again. She made a decision though, that she wouldn’t let a man do that to her again, so she’s become part flirt and part romantic, while still keeping her sarcastic attitude.

rp sample: this is by far NOT my best post, but I wanted to finish this because I didn’t know if I’d be on tonight.
The ticking noise was what woke her up, just the simple little noise that had been going on all night and it had finally gotten the better of her. It reminded her of a bomb about to go off in one of those movies where the hero notices it just in time. Instead, it was her stupid clock. She glanced over at the face of the digital machine - Leah didn’t care much for clocks with hands. For one thing, why did they call them hands? It wasn’t like they were actually holding anything. The other reason was because in a world where she was always on the go with patrolling or vampire tracking (or these days, saving), she wanted a quick fix when it came to telling time. No work here, just look and go. Currently, the look told her it was 4:30 in the morning. Leah groaned and looked outside. It was still dark.
Leah didn’t have to be up for another hour, but she decided to get out of bed anyway, it wasn’t like she was going to be able to go back to sleep. It would just make this day that much longer. She walked over to her closet and looked at the dry erase board where she practically mapped out her patrol times and where the patrols were located. She would have a long day ahead of her as it was.
She threw on a bikini top and a pair of short jean shorts and headed down to the kitchen as quietly as she could. She didn’t know if Seth was back yet but she didn’t want to deal with the brother-sister banter right now. All she wanted was some coffee and toast and a little quiet. She fleetingly wondered if that was too much to ask. She took a scrunchie from the counter and began to put her long hair into a curly ponytail, then started the coffee maker. Just the smell was enough to wake her up even more and make her day just a little bit more pleasant. After breakfast she would start cleaning the kitchen; at least Sue would think that was productive.
But she didn’t even get the chance to sit down to her cup of coffee. She looked at it longingly as she answered the ringing telephone and heard Billy’s voice at the other end. Something about patrol shifts being rearranged. Leah tried not to growl over the phone as she answered Billy, letting him know that she’d be on her way to the other wolves as soon as she hung up.
