Lea Marie Foulgood
"You truly are one frightening little monster."
~Jasper Hale~
character full name: Lea Marie Foulgood
alias: Lee, Lea Marie
age: She is currently 33, but looks 18
birthday: February 2, 1978
affiliation: Nomadic
status: Carnivore Vampire
"I'd noticed that his eyes were black - coal black."
~Isabella Swan~
~Isabella Swan~
eyes: Her eyes are big and round, almost taking on the shape of a nut, I suppose you could say. They are chocolate brown with specks of red in them, frames with thick lashes.
hair: Lea has very thick hair. It falls a little below her chest, and it is naturally wavy. If you were to look underneath her hair, however, you would see curls. The bottom of her hair is curled, and all around her head there are a mix of curls and waves. Though her hair is soft, it also is vary tangled. Lea has dark brown hair, but in the sunlight you can see hints of blonde and red in her hair.
height: 5’ 2 3/4”
weight: 125
distinguishing features: Tattoo’s are not Lea’s style, so she has none. However, she has a scar on her foot that she received when she was a child after being chased by clowns and falling over a bench. Needless to say it’s barely visible now. She always wears an opal heart necklace.
general appearance: Rather than being a normal girl and stand up straight, Lea slouches a lot due to the fact that she is insecure about her broad shoulders. She has a rather small frame, and is not exactly the skinniest vampire around, nor is she heavy. She has long legs that are shaped, and a short torso. Her arms are average, much like the rest of her body. Lea has a mediums sized neck, leading up to a long heart shaped face. She has big pink lips, a cleft chin, semi-defined cheek bones, and a nose that has a bump on its bridge. When Lea smiles her top lip curls a bit, and her cheek bones are drastically more defined.
Lea Marie has a very over-the-top style. She loves sparkles and gaudy clothes; somehow she manages to pull them off, though. That being said, Lea also loves fancy, and sometimes plain, clothing. She is known for layering her clothes. She does not have one specific style; it’s whatever she has in her closet that’s clean. Accessories are also a big part of her wardrobe.
She always has two hair ties on her right wrist, and a gold chain with an opal heart attached that she received when she was a baby. She usually wears a ring with a pink stone on it, and maybe an anklet with matching earrings. Now that she’s a vampire, she rarely wears make up, but she always wore a little when she was human. Lea does, however, paint her nails every so often.
Her natural stance is with one leg bent and her torso slightly leaning back. When she walks she tends to semi-shuffle her feet. Lea has a high pitched, musical voice.
"I will always tell you the truth."

likes:
- Her family and friends- Without them, Lea would certainly not be where she is today, and that scares her a little. She keeps tabs on her friends, and tends to watch their past frequently. Her family, sadly, is no longer living.
- Ice cream- This is by far her favorite human food, and she wishes she could have it every day. She tried it once when she was a new born and was devastated when she couldn’t have it.
- Being in front of people- She does not get stage fright, in fact, being in front of people actually makes her stronger.
- Shopping- As long as she has some money in her pocket, there is no stopping her from buying anything.
- Roses- The most dramatic flower there is, and also the prettiest.
- Pink, purple, blue and green- Favorite colors, and the most common colors in her wardrobe.
- Theatricality- Acting, singing, and dancing are her hobbies
- Romance/Love- Lea adores the idea of falling in love once more, and maybe this time it will last a life time, even though she will always have a place in her heart for her first love.
- The idea of one day graduating college- Lea has never been to college, which was something she wanted the most as a human. Still, Lea would most likely have to go back to high school first
- Her new house in Forks- It’s small, but she loves it. She has not actually had a stable shelter even since she turned into a vampire, so her own place makes her feel nice.
dislikes:
- Fear- Lea Marie is probably one of the biggest scardey-cats on the face of the earth. She is cautions about everything, and almost anything scares her. Even as a vampire, she still is afraid of every little thing.
- Her power- Lea get’s punished by her power from eating humans, so that makes her not want to. She will stay as far away from humans as she possibly can until she absolutely has to drink. Animal blood didn’t sustain her thirst for long.
- Clowns- Her biggest fear besides heights. Something about people with pained smiles creeps her out.
- Jealousy- Lea is jealous of people who are able to be with their friends and family.
- Driving- Lea has been terrified to get into the driver’s seat. She’d much rather run around everywhere.
- Jasper Hale- He married her aunt Alice, but that doesn’t mean she is ready to become buddy-buddy with him. In fact, quite the opposite. Jasper has a terrible past, and Lea has seen it. She hates him because of what he did to newborns. She also hates how he can kill millions of people for no reason without any punishment, and she can kill one and must relive their past.
- Bugs- They crawl, they fly, they hiss and buzz. It disgusts her.
- Her diet- Although she does not plan to change it anytime soon, Lea strongly dislikes her diet because she hates murdering humans. Drinking animal blood is a great way to live, but she admits that it’s very hard to convert to, so she’d rather starve herself.
- Not being able to sit down face-to-face with her human friends and family- Since she is not that old, most of her family and friends are still living. She wishes more than anything to see them, and hopes they have a happy life, because she knows the most she can do is watch them, not influence anything.
- The smell of Werewolves- She has smelled them a lot around Forks, and although she does not know who these people are, she knows she would like to keep away from them.
ambitions: Lea wants to eventually have the life she dreamed of as a human. She wants her family and friends to be beside her, a husband, maybe a few kids. She also wants a good education. Lea knows that’s these are just wishes, and will most likely never come true, but that’s what she is working towards.
abilities: Lea can see this past. To be able to see your past, she must know your name and or face. When she kills someone, her power is automatically triggered in her mind and she must watch their past. Lea feels this is a punishment for her lifestyle, and often jokes about it keeping her on a tight leash. Because of this,
Lea has tried an animal diet, but it only made human blood more appealing. She now only kills humans when absolutely necessary, and has pretty good self control which took years of practice. It was not a natural skill.
secrets:
- Lea broke into the asylum that Alice Cullen went to so she could retrieve Alice’s file. This was when she was first turned into a vampire and had no idea how to control her power so she didn’t have to break into the asylum.
- She has seen her own funeral many times in her families and friends pasts. However, she never did attend it herself. She almost wished she had, though, so she could feel closure.
- Her biggest secret is she has seen her human family since her turn. She visited them all one night, and her brother saw her. She quickly left, though, making him think it was only a dream.
personality: Lea is not one you would call quiet. She wants to stick out, to be noticed. She is a leech on attention. However, there are times she is quite content being someone in the crowed. She is also a major drama queen, although she tries not to be. When she was younger, she also had a hard time keeping her mouth shut, which ended up in trust issues with some of her friends. She is influential if you are around her too much, certain things she says, such as pet names, tend to sometimes slip into ones vocabulary.
Lea is accused of caring too much, and taking on other people’s problems as well as her own. This is another flaw, seeing as she stresses herself out often. If you argue with her, she will take the blame because she has an issue with losing someone. She clings to important people as much as she clings to the attention.
She is many things, but not graceful. Unlike her Aunt who was described as graceful, Lea trips over everything. Being a vampire did not change that much. She tends to try to watch where she is walking, and gets nervous. She is a klutzy vampire. Being nervous also leads us into her fear of everything. She can find something to be afraid of, and does not take risks. Overall, Lea is a sweet person when you get to know her.
"Don't get your family slaughtered for pride."

history: at least three detailed paragraphs
Lea Marie was born in Biloxi, Mississippi February 2, 1978 to Lucy Foulgood and Michael Foulgood late in their marriage. She was their second child, ad their first baby girl. They were happy to now have two prized children instead of just one child. Lea’s parents traveled a lot, so Timmy and lea were left to be cared for by their grandmother, Cynthia. While Cynthia adored both of her grandkids, she tended to lean to Lea as the favorite. This was okay with Timothy, though, since he was obviously the favorite child of his parents.
When Lea was five she had a bad encounter with a clown. Sitting on the very top row on the bleachers in the tent, the clowns invaded the audience. One tried to invite her down to the floor. She managed to get away, but there where so many steps down. She started running and when she was finally on the ground, another clown was ready to take her hand. She tripped over a bench that was on the ground and cut her foot. She had to go to the hospital. Needless to say that’s how she got her scar after getting 10 stitches. This triggered her extreme fear of heights and clowns.
On days where she and Timmy were not in school, they tended to stick together, always finding ways to make their free-time interesting. Both of them loved going on adventures in the woods. Timothy would always practice his fighting, taking on pretend dragons and helping his sister get away from strange tree monsters. Lea would help Timmy heal after a big battle, but usually used her ‘medicine’ on herself since she was klutzy and always fell.
When they would return home, if it was just to Cynthia, she would help get them cleaned up if needed. If they came home to their parents cut up and in dirty clothes, both children would be grounded. Their parents were rather strict, being that they had been brought up strict themselves. Still, neither of them really cared about being punished for one day.
Timothy was two years older than Lea, and he could handle himself better than she could in public. He was now 12, and his parents decided to let him start traveling with them when there was no school, leaving lea behind. During this time, Cynthia took her under her wing and showed her childhood memories. There was a girl whom Lea noticed kept coming up in every picture. When she asked about the girl, Cynthia told her that they were cousins, but she had died a long time ago. This turned out to be false.
The small brunette slowly turned into a caring young girl at the age of thirteen, and she hopped she was going to have the best birthday ever. Cynthia died that day, though, and Lea cried endless tears, locking herself in her room for weeks. Mary, Lea’s mother, had discovered in the will that everything, the money, Cynthia’s fortunes, the house, all belonged to the thirteen year old. Lea could not believe what she was told, and cried even more. She felt bad that no one else in her family had received anything.
The next three years would be the best of her life. Lea had been able to help her brother pay for college, and still have more than enough for herself. She had fallen in love with a boy named Mark, whom was three years older than her (eighteen) and the time. Her parents didn’t approve, so she was to keep seeing him behind her parent’s back. She studied hard, and her grades drastically improved. She was starting to cope with her grandmother’s death, and be happy again. Once she was eighteen and ready to leave for college, Mark proposed to her, and she accepted. The agreed to wait, however, until she was twenty to get married, and that gave her two years to run away from her family if she didn’t receive their permission or blessing.
Finally summer had rolled along. But, I will skip to a very important date: June 8, 1996. Lea had fallen ill with a cold. Her parents decided to go out for a little while, but promised to be back from the park to take care of Lea. With a kiss on the forehead, they left her alone. Lea had fallen asleep, dreaming of college, and her future ambitions.
A man had been watching her, spying on her, and thirsting for her blood. This man was never known, and Lea could never find out. She could not watch her own past, you know. Anyway, her had kidnapped her, and ran her into the forest behind her house. He bit her, but was stopped from feasting upon her by another Vampire. They fought, and the second vampire had won.
He sat beside Lea through her transformation, asking her to quiet down, and giving her encouragement as the pain slowly shook her body. Lea had never been in this much pain, and she could barely keep quiet. She wanted to hurt the man that did this to her, know what was going on, and break out into tears. But there was nothing she could really do, now was there?
During the second day of her transformation, her power started to settle in. She had a vision of two girls in a dark room, and that was all she could see. As the same vision continued, the visions get clearer. After three days, she finally sat up. The man that was with her left, and she was alone. Her vision was clear and her senses were keener then when she was human. In the dirt next to her, the word ‘Vampire’ had been carved into the earth. A shard of a mirror lay next to it. She picked it up and examined herself. It was all clear to her: she was a vampire, and she could see the past. And for the first time, she felt alone.
Lea was scared the first few weeks, mainly killing innocent people and trying to control her power. Her main question: who was the lady in her visions? After killing people, Lea knew she couldn’t go home. As the weeks past, Lea kept having more and more visions of the lady and her grandmother, enough to know that the lady’s name was Mary and the asylum she was admitted to. She packed up stuff from her old family’s home and left Biloxi, heading a few towns over to where the asylum was located. After breaking in, she retrieved the file, and then left. The brunette discovered that Mary was related to her, and that was all she knew.
Lea decided not to go looking for Mary until she could control her powerfully, which took years to master. Finally, the day had come when she would make her way to Forks.

. After moving into the new own, Lea was anxious to get settled. After making a short vacation to Biloxi to take all of her belongings and anything else she wanted from her old house, which was locked so it was hard to get in, Lea was glad to be a new fully-furnished home. She always kept her blinds closed, for the fear of neighbors seeing her sparkle in the sun. Finally, a cloudy day had rolled around. Now all she needed to do was unpack all of her clothes, maybe even get some new one. She kind of wanted to go to the park in Port Angeles, which was where a lot of her neighbors told her they went to relax. According to them, it wasn’t in walking distance. However, Lea didn’t drive, so she would have to make it in walking distance. She needed to update her license before she could drive.
Still, Lea had almost new clue where the park was, let alone the one in Port Angeles. She had looked into a few people pasts, and thought based on them she could find her way through the woods to the park. She just hoped she was right. The vampire got up from her bed, where she was laying, and walked to the vanity to brush her hair. Deciding that it was not going to work with her, she put it up in a low pony-tail and swept her bangs to the side. Sighing, she went to her closet, grabbing a pair of ripped jeans, pink stripped shirt with a lace back, and silver shoes with a matching purse, she quickly changed out of her dark sweat pants and tee shirt.
Checking herself in the mirror a few times, making sure she looked okay, the girl turned on her heel and left her room. She headed for the front door, grabbing random things she thought she might need when she went to the park. She exited the tiny house, and locked the door once she was outside. The fresh air and scents of nature mixed with the scents of humans. After a few quick breaths, Lea braced herself, not wanting to lose control, and stopped breathing. She smiled to herself, proud of her self control, started to walk off her deck and into her back yard.
She hopped over her fence and landed in a tree. She swiftly jumped from one branch to another, until the branches got so thick and covered with fresh green leaves, she couldn’t even see which tree she was on. Since she was afraid of heights, she made sure she was close to the ground. She jumped on the ground, landing unsteadily and almost fell on her face. She rolled her eyes at herself, “I am such a klutz!”
The brunette decided to wing it, she was going to end up wherever. She ran as fast as she could through the woods, easily dodging branches and roots. She paused for a second, when the trees were starting to thin out. She craned her neck to see around the trees, for she could see people. There were benches, and even a water fountain. Lea smiled again, approving. She exited the woods, ending up in the back of a very large park. She looked around, careful not to take a breath. She found an open bench and strolled over to it, sitting. She looked through her purse and found her iPod. She put it on shuffle, and put the ear buds in her ears. The she pulled out a book, ‘Little Women’. She was happy to finally be able to relax on her own for a little bit.
