Daphne Harridge was born the youngest of three children, in New York City, edicated in the finest private schools. While studying in Paris she met a ne'er do well and handsome rebel named Quentin Collins, while her parents didn't approve of the relationship. She found herself Drawn to him. His sparkling eyes and his animal magnetism. Daphne always had hard time gettign alogn with her brother, but she was very close to her Sister. While she was in college she had gone to La Push to do report on the Quileutes and became fascinated by their legends.
Anyway, in 1982 Daphne and Quentin Started a courtship all the while Daphne Pretended the courtship wasn't just a cover so Quentin could sleep with other women she had noticed he was a flirt. They married in 1986, in truth just after Lucy was born. But Quentin Paid someone to falsify the public record so Lucy wouldnlt be refered to as The Illegitimit Daughter of Quentin Collins so began the cycle of Daphne going along with the lies and but they had signed an agreement that he would not object to her leaving town for at least two vacations a week, in truth, Lucy had very Nearly been born on First Beach, Daophne had gone into false Labor while on her to Washington.
Then again when Lucy was Twi, she took her daughter with her to Washington and they stayed near La Push. So it hasnlt really suprised her that Lucy ended up there because Lucy had liked the beach as a toddler.
