Edward woke up slowly, he laid their for a moment on his bed letting the world come into focus. The sun was covered up today which made it perfect to go out side and out in public. Though Edward didn't really know what he was going to do today, there were many things needed to be done today. Renesmee needed new books and clothes though he would leave that up to Bela cause cloths were more of a girl thing at least that is what Edward thought. Not really knowing where to start Edward got up and got dressed he figured he would just make his way around town and stop at places that he thought would come in handy for buying stuff. Edward had changed a lot after getting married and than having a child, it really made you grow up despite him being years older than just about every human having a child really made you grow up.
After getting dressed Edward headed out into the open, the sun blocking what he was. Cloudy days were the only days vampires could be out in the open with humans and still be protected because they did not sparkle like thousands of little diamonds. Edward headed out looking at the stores that lined the streets, he wasn't seeing much around town that just jumped out at him. It isn't like they needed food because they drank blood which was all they needed. So he continued on his way until he came to the library. Edward knew renesmee loved to read so he thought he would pick up a couple new books for her to expand her mind a little. Edward wanted her to know everything he wanted her prepared for the world and what it had to offer all the good and the bad. Books were the best way to go about it. That and lessons from himself because he had lived a long time though Carlisle was better at it seeing as he was older than dirt.
Edward walked into the building, first thing he smelt when he walked in was old musty books and perfume from the librarian. He crinkled his nose a little, it was all a little overwhelming but he pushed passed it and headed to the kids section. Yes they light reading for his daughter but other than having to learn from history books and others it was good to get a feel of child books with the fairy tales and happy endings. Though a lot of it was all fake it was still have all the hopes and dreams that the books gave to children. So he went over and grabbed some children books than headed over to to another section grabbing a couple more young adult books than he took a seat to skim through them all just to know what they were all about before he gave them to his beautiful baby girl.
