Hunting was something that had always come naturally to her anymore. Running at full speed she tackled the deer and drained it. The animal was filling and she was glad to have a few moments of peace from the thirst that always haunted her. Finishing up she walked towards through the forest and towards the lake. She always came down here when she had a chance finding it comfortable and relaxing almost to a point where she was happy. Getting there she could not sense anything around her so she kicked off her shoes and then removed her shirt and shorts folding them gently she walked towards the water and walked towards the water and got a good running start jumping into the water and making a good sized splash as she came up to the surface and glanced around. She was a bit self conious but that didn’t matter as she was alone and hopefully no one would bother her. Opening her bag she took out a blanket and set it down
Swimming quietly for awhile she enjoyed the temp coldness that came with the season. It was a small shock at first but now it was warm like everything else that she touched. Shaking her head she dove under the water staying under for as long as she wanted had its pluses. At times it was hard to find the good things about being a vampire and she had often disliked it for that but at least now she had a family that loved her. A father who was amazing in many ways something that she counted on. As she looked at them as a family that she had never had one that had been taken from her without warning and that now she was making up for lost time…with people that actually cared about her which was what kept her going even at the worst times.
Swimming towards shore she got out and grabbed her towel from the bag and dried off before laying down on the blanket and letting the sun dry her off. Very few people came into the area that she worried about. Letting herself relax she didn’t bother to listen to many sounds around her until the smell came to her nose and she sat up a vampire she thought as she stood and quickly wrapped a towel around her and grabbed her cloths pulling them on as the vampire got closer and closer…

there are a few things in life you don't want to talk about, your virginity, and your real identity. For Rich, it was only the identity, he is no virgin anymore so what to talk about then? The car he was riding with was not really a good car so he got out and ran. He was a fast runner, and when he was running he did it with style. He arrived in a village he promised himself never to go again. He totally went the wrong way.
He arrived at a lake and at the lake a small girl with dark brown curls looked around. Shit! why her! why now? damn this wasn't what he planned to do. He looked around for an escape but there was no escape, well it didn't have to be her right? there were enough girls with the same looks and smell.. oh lord who was he kidding? Richard walked her way slowly, not trying to push her.
He leaned against a close try and looked at her with a sigh. '' long time no see'' he said clearly. What else could he say? nothing more then oh you've grown.. is your hair longer? you look older? it was a darn kid. she was sixteen and really beautiful though he doesn't care about it much, well he pretends not to. There were many things in life that Jasper enjoyed, but none so much as taking some time to get away from all the emotions of the world. It was a rather peaceful experience which was also the only time besides hunting that Jasper spent away from Alice. Before this, Jasper had been sitting at home reading a book while observing Alice picking out her outfit for an outing that they were going to have later that day. She already knew how good it was going to be, but the real fun was in spending time together.
Where he was walking was close enough to the lake that he was able to sense someone having fun while doing something, which was of the reasons why he had changed direction so that he wouldn’t interrupt whoever it was. The other reason was so that he could escape from the emotions that were interfering with his own period of happiness. The sound of water splashing made it apparent that the good time was swimming in the lake, which was always fun to do when no one else was around. His nose picked out the fact that it was Bree who was having such a wonderful time which was okay in Jasper’s mind.
He was going to continue on his way when a breeze brought in the scent of someone else heading in the direction lake, and Jasper knew that he was going to have to double back to see if it was someone that could be considered a threat. The empathic vampire picked up speed as he circled around to come up behind the person who was heading toward the lake so he caught what the male had said to Bree. The emotional vibe that he was getting from the guy was a mixture of nervousness and longing. Both of these emotions were one that he was quite familiar with. “Maybe not long enough.”
Jasper had positioned himself leaning against a tree opposing the guy, and that was when he took a chance to look over at Bree to see that she was okay. She was worried by something that also put him on edge, which meant that the other male might be trouble that needed to be dealt with. “I hope this guy isn’t ruining your fun.”

In life there are certain things you have to watch for. You have to watch your back to see if no one else is trying to kill you and you got to be able to resist certain emotions and certain people. Of course he was the one who couldn't resist seeing his dearest friend and he couldn't resist to turn around in a protective way over her when a threat came by.
He walked closer to Bree as he noticed someone behind him. Richard sighed and turned around, this guy was the reason he had to run for his life. Well one of them. He thanked the cullens for everything but somehow he couldn't remember many of them.
His eyes noticed the golden eyes of the blonde vampire as Richard was still relaxed. '' It has been many years since I haven't seen my best friend. '' he said calmly not caring about the blonde. He looked at Bree and back at the blonde guy, she wrote him letters sometimes and he thought she mentioned an emotional detector called Jasper.
'' you must be Jasper right? I'm Richard. '' he wanted to shake Jasper's hand but the distance didn't make it possible much. So he slid his hands back into his pockets and looked at Bree. Some sadness was shown on his face just for a second, knowing he wasn't the one who protected her anymore.
It made him feel useless for her. Richard sighed, as he thought of the moments he was just Fred. How he hated that name. Richard, that's who he is and that's who he will stay. the only one calling him fred was Bree and no one else was allowed to either. Richard looked at the Jasper figure asking Bree if he was ruining things for her.
How dared he talk about him like that. Bree was part of his life way before she was of Jasper. This wasn't the time to play games with him since he wasn't in the mood for games, maybe he was right in the first place and he should leave her forever. Telling her he wasn't good enough, since her new boyfriend is like him.
Richard thought she had a little good taste but that faded too. He looked at Jasper and sniffed. '' maybe blondie is right, maybe i can better leave, should have stayed away too. '' he said with a sad tone in his voice as he walked to t he other side of the woods. he walked around the lake trying not to look back, he never did.
Not with his victims, not with her. Bree was just different and somehow people can't stand that he likes her. He should have left years ago when she told him to run, that he shouldn't come back because they are probably looking for him. years ago, he thought his life was over, that he wouldn't be safe. Now he knows love is the thing that hunts him down to the end. ooc: sorry about the long post, muse is like red bull in my veins xD

The scent gave him away one that she had not smelled in years not since he had run away the day before the battle. Closing her eyes her whole body shook as she got dressed just before he came into view. She paused as she saw him a smile coming to her lips “Fred” she whispered her voice soft. She started to step towards him when another scent came to her Jasper she thought as she watched him come up “dad…he is my best friend” she said quietly so much longing as she met him half way and hugged Fred tightly wrapping her arms around him and kissed his cheek “be nice they are family” she whispered to Fred and gently pulled his head down and stared into his eyes her golden eyes meeting his and she smiled lightly “but yes that is Jasper…my father” she never said adopted out of respect Jasper was more a father to her then her own had ever been.
The two didn’t look happy as she paused and watched as he started to leave and shot Jasper a look “is this going to happen every time I bring a male home dad?” she asked and gave him a wary smile but then took off across the way and grabbed Fred “don’t you dare leave me standing there again” she said letting out a small hiss and grabbed his arm “come on he will get used to you it just him he’s worried and protective of me” she had already started to drag him back to Jasper and sighed “now you two play nice you both mean the world to me” as she said this she walked over and hugged Jasper gently and kissed his cheek. Closing her eyes she paused “Fred kept me alive when we were in the new born army…I would have died long before the battle otherwise” she admitted as she stared at him “he ran away before the battle happened while I stayed to try and get Diego” she said his name with sadness but she shook her head to clear it.
Watching Jasper she paused “dad is who worked with me when I first joined his family” she paused as she walked over and hugged him gently “Fred we heard a lot of lies back then that these were bad people they are not…they took me in, kept me safe and showed me that you can have a almost normal life with work” she looked at Fred “dad didn’t let me have the easy way out…he made me work for what I wanted that I would not be satisfied until things were right…he is tough but a amazing teacher I love him” smiling as she said this she paused “just as one of you is a part of my life as is the other…you both mean the world to me and I wouldn’t be whole without you in my life” walking over to Fred she reached out and touched Fred’s hand with her free one and looked into his eyes “please…don’t leave me again” it was more of a plead then anything but it showed how much she cared about him.
She had hoped to go and find him somehow when she was ready but now he was back in her life and she would not let him go easily this time. It had been hard losing him the first time and it showed as she watched two of the most important people in her life “how have you been?” she asked Fred and hugged him gently yet firmly pressing her face against his neck “I missed you” she admitted quietly. Closing her eyes she slowly relaxed completely around him before she gently pulled away and rested her hands in her pockets “did you move back into the area?” she asked him after a few moments.

these awkward moments are the worst. A moment where you are eye to eye with the man who wanted to kill you first, then hearing all the lies according to Bree and being her father. Parental meetings, not the best ones. As he got hugged to death by Bree somehow his face remained calm till the deepest. He looked at her as she told him to be nice and dragged him to Jasper.
He stood right in front of the blonde vampire his eyes on Bree. Richard said nothing as Bree started to explain the newborn army things. He hated the army so much. Only thing that kept him there must have been Bree. She wasn’t worth it, she shouldn’t have be the one who got caught, she was scared to death.
And Richard kept her from dying though the name fred from her whisper made him shiver a little. ‘’ Hi again. ‘’ he said calm and in control. Why would he lose it? He wasn’t the one who should lose it at all. Richard looked at Jasper. The man didn’t scare him the slightest, and being nice wasn’t what he was getting worried about. Being here made him worried.
Bree hugged him to death multiple times and her words I missed you almost made Richard cry. But as calm and tough as he was before, as small he felt right now. He hugged bree and kissed her cheek. ‘’ I missed you too. ‘’ he said with the sadness in his voice.
Richard released Bree and looked at both as he spoke slowly. ‘’ I live in a villa , near the park. ‘’ he said with a smile and yes he decided to stay here for a while, though since he fed on humans, he was going to figure something out, he wasn’t planning on killing the humanity in Forks.
Maybe hw would drain from dead bodies. He did it a year ago when he stayed in Germany. The women tasted way better, just because the men were fat. And fat men tasted terrible. But never in his life he will try animal blood. Eugh.

This situation seemed to be one that he should have been warned about by Alice, but then again she probably hadn’t known about Richard coming to see Bree. If she had, then Alice had most likely seen a positive ending to the incident just so long as she didn’t say anything. There were many things that could unnerve a guy like Jasper, and one of those things was being known by someone that he didn’t know. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the guy didn’t feel like a tornado of emotions, and if Jasper had been new to his gift then it would have given him a headache.
It appeared to Jasper that he entire situation was going to mellow out since the boy was going to leave, but as always the aspect of a bond is what made the situation continue forward. “It will be the most common response, but one of them may get unlucky and Emmett or Edward will be over.” His ears picked up everything that was said when Bree went after Richard, which would have been amusing if it were true. Unfortunately, Jasper probably wouldn’t get used to the idea of Bree dating anyone especially someone who still fed on humans. That type of relationship was sort of like a board balancing on a thin pole. It was bound to lead to Richard changing his eating habits or Bree falling back to her old ones.
There were times when being a parent meant knowing when to be overprotective and when to be a little more laid back. At this current moment, Jasper was about halfway between the two options, which was starting to go to the second one with Bree’s hug. The fact that Richard, who was also called Fred, had kept Bree alive before the battle only meant that Jasper wasn’t going to have to worry about her getting hurt. He was almost proud of himself when she brought up there time training together to get Bree to the point where she wouldn’t have to worry while among the human population.
“Hello.” His one word response was all he could get out to the greeting that Richard had given, which was the only thing that he could say in this instance. It was not like he could say it was a pleasure to meet the guy because it was more like another burden that he was going to have to worry about, but for Bree’s sake he would tolerate his presence in the area to a point. Jasper was going to have to inform the rest of the family and the wolf pack that there was another vampire in the area that they were going to have to keep an eye on.
The mention of him staying close by sent a signal flare in Jasper’s mind that maybe he should issue a warning to this Richard. It wouldn’t be a good thing if Bree’s best friend was removed from play due to his lack of knowledge of the current number of wolves in the area. “Maybe you should come up to the house in order to introduce yourself to the rest of the family. I think there are some things that need to be explained to you before any of us can feel comfortable about the situation.” The word comfortable was sort of stretching the situation a little bit, but anything else might have seemed like more Jasper was laying the laws of the land out at his feet which wasn’t the case.

Bree sighed quietly just glad that he had come back with her and that he was willing to at least meet her father. Taking his hand she gently hugged him and sighed “thank you” she whispered quietly. She had to admit the fact that he was here and in her life again as he relaxed slowly as she nodded as she looked at her father and sighed softly. Comfortable was the word he used as she shot Jasper a look that could kill if their ever was any in history. She paused and nodded looking at Fred she wouldn’t let him be hurt him as she paused “it will be okay you’ll love Esme and Carlisle” she assured him. Everyone always did the two were two of the kindest people that you could meet which was what she loved about them they accepted her no matter what her past had been and for that she was thankful.
Things could have always been worse as she paused “you have a lot to know about a few things that didn’t come up last time” she admitted. She knew what her father was talking about the wolves would be a problem as always as she looked at the ground. She wanted nothing more then to spend some time with him and get to be reacquainted as she glanced at the ground and swallowed a lump in her throat and then watched Fred and nodded “thank you” she said to both. At least they both were able to see how much the other meant to her and were not fighting though which was a good thing in her books as she looked around almost wishing that she could get somewhere and talk with Fred alone pausing she shook her head knowing it would come later when he was done talking with the family “are the others at home yet?” she asked her father after a few moments.
Her own breath almost caught in her throat for a moment as she walked over and jumped onto a fallen tree and stepped slowly over the roots “come on boys” she said finally gaining the trademark smile that had come to her face. Everything finally felt right in the world but the fact was that she had hoped that Fred would…Fred would what? She had no idea she liked him but he had not made any move and then she knew they would just be friends…looking at him she realized that he just saw her as a friend and sadness hit her but was quickly gone as she looked at Fred and took a breath and gave a small smile picking up her pace towards the house.

Richard sighed as he looked at bree who thanked him. He closed his eyes for a moment and then shook his head. She wanted him to come with them, he just shook his head all the time until he jumped in front of bree. '' I can't Bree, I can't change my life like you did, even if they would accept me, I can't change. '' he said with a sad voice. He kissed her lips softly and jumped out of the tree.
He looked at Jasper. He shook his head. '' I'm sorry but I can't. Take good care of Bree alright? I love her but I don't want to let things happen to her. I'm not good for all of you, or her, wrong guy. '' he shook his head. '' nice to meet you , and nice to see her again, but I can't come with you, I'm sorry. '' he sighed and walked away.
He passed Bree, not crying, well trying not to. He shook his head and took off into the woods. Arriving at the roads where he almost got hit by a car.

His choice of words could have been better, and Jasper knew that. Bree’s look had only cemented that fact in his mind, but there was no way that he could take it back now. Even though he knew his family quite well, Jasper found it very hard to figure out what each individual reaction would be to this new person into their midst. Especially one that fed off of humans, which might cause some serious tension to rise between the wolf pack and the Cullens if they had to choose to assist someone that probably held a special place in his new daughter’s heart.
At least Bree understood why he had brought up the subject of seeing the family, or at least he assumed she did. Jasper had to admit that they had been very understanding during the last major episode to do vampire activities, but Richard was a lone vampire that only had real ties to Bree which wouldn’t be enough to save him from being hunted by the wolf pack. “I am sure that there is someone around the house. It is like a regular highway in that house with all the people that are coming and going at all hours of the day.” It wasn’t as bad as he was making it sound, but their family was ever expanding with each passing year.
Jasper watched as Bree started off towards home only to find that Richard did not want to go with them to the house. He could honestly say that he partly understood what the poor lad was going through at this moment, but Jasper had Alice to lean on and at the moment Richard mostly likely felt that he was on his own. “Just so you know, the offer to come over is always open regardless of the reason. No one is going to turn you away, and don’t worry. Bree has an entire family to watch over her and guide her if need be.”
Watching Richard go made Jasper feel two things that were conflicting. On one hand, he was relieved to see a dangerous temptation disappear into the woods, but there was also this feeling that he should be doing more to convince the young man that everyone was capable of changing. All they needed was the right motivation to get them through the rough patches. This was how he got through the day, and how he figured Bree got through the days where it seemed that it would be easier to just give into temptation.
Jasper could already sense the feelings that his daughter was having, and he knew that he should say something to let her know that it would all work out but he couldn’t see the future like Alice could and even then things were uncertain. “Don’t worry Bree. There will be another chance to talk to him.”
(Don't know why I hadn't posted something in here yet)
