[Seth Clearwater]

The night had been a long one as he walked down to the beach slowly and looked around. He had called Lucy when he had finished up patrolling and asked her to meet him as he removed his shirt and shorts leaving underwear on as he jumped into the water swimming around slowly as he soaked the water cooling down his skin slightly as he stayed there. Finally after a few minutes he climbed out and spread himself out on the sand and watched the moon as in the sky and enjoyed the night that had come with it finding it to be relaxing as he laughed softly and relaxed completely in the sand as he watched the sky carefully.

Since he had been back he had enjoyed the times that had come. Every moment that he had been with her as well as held her had been special and something that he had found relaxing and fun. True things had been hectic at first adjusting to the fact that he now had someone that would be a soul mate for the rest of his life and someone to protect sometimes scared him but he always made due and was happy. Taking a breath he shook his head and swallowed the lump in his throat and glanced at his watch it was almost two thirty in the morning but the two had planned to meet somewhere when his shift was done even though he had been tempted to go to her house instead he always put her wishes first so had picked the beach.

As he dried off he slipped his shorts on and tilted his head to the side he was tempted to go back into the water but he held himself back and pressed his hand against her mouth and yawned the long night slowly taking a total on him. Most nights when he would finish up pack things he would go home and sleep for a few hours before he would have to get up and start all over again weather it would be school or other thing he would often find his days always busy he tried his best to find the time where he could be around Lucy being an active wolf with school always made it hard at times though so far the two had done better then expected. Shaking his head he laid back and closed his eyes starting to doze slowly.

Lucy had stopped to take quick shower she had gotten sleep while Seth was on Patrol and she had been waking up when he called. She had put on light weight sweater.
She placed her hand on her belly, She wasn't sure how to take Jake's reaction but she had figured Seth's Alpha should know Seth was going to be a father. She locked her apartment door and drove her car down to the beach she stood watching for few minutes as Seth swam she figured he needed to cool off.

She got out and locked her car door sticking the keys in her pocket "Sorry I took so long. I had touch of morning sickness and had to clean up." she said, it had been the first time since she had acknowledged she was pregnant that she had gotten any of the morning sickness. She sits on a log next to where Seth is resting "I love you, Seth." she looked at him, she had spoken to her mother on the phone before she had rested "My mother is in Seattle on Vacation. She was wondering if you would like to meet her." she said as she sat on log.

"If you need place to rest, you can come back to my place. How are your classes going?" he looked so adorable when he was was sleeping it was easy to tell he was still teenager when he slept. "You may need to help me stand up off the grounds." she said as she gently slid down where she was sitting on the beach next to him, she scooted over and leaned over kissing him passionately "I am glad you manage to make time for me." She looked into his eyes, once they were open, and caressed his pouty lips, Seth made her happy beyond words and she wasn't sure how he would respond to, the question about, meeting her mother. She held his hand and looked up the sky. "it's chilly tonight i am guessing because she sky is clear." she said, it was one of those rare non muggy nights in Washington.

She was deep in thought for few moments, she yawned a little since it had only been about a hour she had woken up. "What classes are you studying? If you are given time to study I could help you." she said, she just wanted him to be successful "Do you think your mother would be willing to show me how to cook?" she needed to learn how to run a household. She was going to have a baby and hopefully eventually Marry Seth. As he mind drifted to all the possibilities of family had her hand rested on her stomach. She looked over at him "Sorry, my mind was drifting again. That happens a lot lately. Especially when i think about you and the future." the young blonde explained

Seth smiled as he saw that she was coming up standing up he hugged her gently and wrapped his arms around her waist. He found things peaceful when he was with her and he looked at her and kissed her cheek “how are you?” he asked after a few moments. Even though it was late at night he was just glad for the time that he had with her “you should have called I would have gone to your house” he admitted and shook his head holding her close for a few moments feeling at peace with just having her in his arms again.

When she brought up her mother he closed his eyes debating as he knew he would have to meet them sooner or later but had now he had the chance and they would have to figure out where they stood “are you sure?” he asked her after a few moments. She had said that she didn’t want to see them again” he admitted she had always said that her parents had chased her off. He just didn’t want to see her upset and hurt again when he had first come across her she had been afraid of even being found yet now he could see that she wanted it or seemed to “if you think your okay to do it sure” he said after a few moments.

He listened about the classes and smiled kissing her cheek and smiled “okay about as good as expected…the challenge is in the fall” when he would graduate and then have to find out where he wanted to go to college. He was barely holding onto an A in most of his classes in hopes that it would be enough “I am looking into computer classes mostly” he admitted. He had a thing for computers for as long as he could remember though over the past two years he had found a comfort in them when things got busy between them “what about you? Are you going to do anything with school?” he asked her after a few moments.

He had spent the past few weeks adjusting as he watched her for a few moments he gave a small smile “with the baby coming…I don’t know about going away anymore” he said quietly. He didn’t feel right leaving anymore and the fact that he would have a child didn’t make things easier with it. He would feel bad about putting so much on her they already were pressed for time “perhaps in a few years I could try” he admitted after a few moments knowing that he would have to figure out something between pack business, school and a baby he was surprised he wasn’t about ready to collapse at the moment. Sighing he kissed her cheek and smiled “we will figure things out” he said after a few moments.

Lucy looked at Seth "I needed a change. I was getting sleep and resting all day." she said as she looked at him "I am thinking about studying business. Although i am not really sure. I just want to do something where I am not purely surviving on the money my aunt Jojo left me and the money from my grandmother's estate. I never want to be one of those pampered people who uses the fact they have money as an excuse to act stupid. Do you know if there are any available plots of land on the reservation. since you're from La Push we could get a plot of land and build our own little house." she smiled at him.

She looked at him "I am sorry if it ever gets confusing, when i talk, I process information differently." she kisses him "It's not my father. It's just my mother. I couldn't bare the idea of not talking to her. as soon as i figured out we were going to have a baby I emailed her and she promised to never tell my father where I am." she secretly hoped her parents would divorce she knew he father had affairs while her mother was out of town.
She had walked in on her father in the arms of one of the female servants.

She reached over and caressed his cheek "Seth, I want you to be happy. I don't want you doing anything you might regret." she said tucking her hair being her ears. "A think a logical next step is for us to move into together so we can adjust to the idea of living in the same space. If you help me at thee daycare center on days when i volunteer you will get experience taking care of babies." she said "My mother knows about you. I've told her about you." she said kissing his forehead.

She looked at him "I plan on doing more related to college after the baby is born. College is stressful and I am trying to avoid stress. Because even though we never planned for the baby. now that it's happening i want to be a mother." she said as she took his hand. "It's so nice when there's not a cloud in the sky." she said, "I'd be lying if i said i wasn't little nervous but it's remarkable knowing there's something alive and growing inside me." she said

She looked up at the moon and looked over at him "Seth, do you ever wonder if you would've chosen me if you hadn't imprinted. I am sorry if that's an odd question, when i am alone in my apartment or taking a shower my mind drifts." she said smiling at him "The imprint means a lot to me. I always thought that my life would be governed by my father's beliefs that the family isn't meant to be happy for very long." she explained
