Oh dear god. Its talking again... He had tried to zone out the pointless girl babble that was flowing from that twenty something year old girl.. Honestly if I have to hear what kind of debauchery your capable of when your inebriated. I'm going to loose my appetite.
He winced as the girl went into some whispered tale of random sex acts and dollar long necks.. GREAT I DON'T NOW DON'T WANT TO TOUCH YOU WITHOUT GLOVES MUCH LESS RISK DRINKING FROM YOU... It seemed the girl took notice of the change of his facial expressions as she seemed to lean closer and take it upon herself to let her hand rest on his thigh...
Perhaps he wouldn’t have been so grossed out had she not spoken.. Though as he looked at her, he wondered what really had drawn him to her? He thought her pretty at first with her unusual shade of Auburn hair that the sun took up and made it look as if it were on fire.. However on closer inspection he found it to be an unusual shade cause it was not a natural color it had been purposely colored that shade.. It was fake almost as fake as she was with her thick make up and vague comments that seemed only aimed to obtain attention than to really add anything of depth to the conversation..
Reality was he probably would be doing the human race a favor by eating the little moron. But the sad truth was he simply couldn’t do it.. Even though he was starving and she was well stupid enough to listen to whatever degree of bs he shoveled her way but the truth was, she was undesirable now to the point that whatever lie he told himself about her would no matter he would still see that disgusting creature that mirrored the likeness of leeches and cockroaches.. Mark that leeches and cockroaches probability have least some degree of moral creed which is more than he could say for this girl who seemed to easily operate with no ethics..
She opened her red painted lips and he reached forward she looked confused for a second and then her confusion gave way to seduction and with that he ended it by ending her with a snap of her neck her body fell limp..
“and least now your not nauseating or vandalizing random bushes or populating the world with disease ?” He gently eased her head down to rest it on her arms that he folded for her so that it would look like she fells asleep.. He quickly opened a book to make it seem she fell asleep while reading a book but remember what the girl had been like in conversation he quickly decided not to go with a book and decided go with a magazine that had been in her book bag..

Port Angeles was a long, long way from France. Alex might get angry if she went to school this far away, then again he might just find a toy to hang around with during the months she was away. That thought made her want to convince him to actually move to Port Angeles. Hey, it might not be so bad. Cloud cover was common here so he wouldn’t be stuck coming out only at night time, which she thought he might appreciate. And there were high schools here for the others to attend. Adia had finally convinced Alex to let her attend college instead of high school, having gone through high school several times over and finding that she really quite hated the place. It was full of teenagers who wanted nothing more than to tell you about their life’s sad, sad story and Adia was more focused on her own life. So, technically, she fit right in. But the classes were boring and she found that the students weren’t that tasty. Probably because of all the artificial crap they put into their bodies.
Being with Alex had cleaned up her act, if only just a little and simply in the way she dressed. Where before she would dress for attention, and any kind of attention, Alex had her dressing slightly more conservative. It was a big jump, though she refused to wear things that didn’t hug her curves. Was it a sin to like the way you looked? Today she sported a pair of jeans and a blue tubetop. A black jacket that was cut and tied just below her boobs covered the blue top, and her feet were dressed up with a pair of punky looking heels. She wore blue and black sunglasses though she didn’t really need to - hybrids didn’t have the crimson eyes that made vampires stand out, and in her hair was a headband with a diamond studded butterfly clinging to it. A white bag was slung over the girl’s shoulder.
She was only taking a tour, and she was alone at that. She didn’t see the need in asking someone to walk her around when she could just as easily figure the buildings out for herself. Besides, if she had been with someone else, she wouldn’t have been able to stop and do a double take as someone from her past appeared.
“Caius?” Though her voice was soft, she was certain that the vampire would be able to hear it. Heightened senses were a side effect of vampirism. What on earth was Caius doing so far away from Italy? She knew the Volturi had since begun to break down during her absence, though she was sure it wasn’t her leave that had caused it since they had been going strong when she left. She also didn’t think that Caius would disapprove of her in any way now, since Adia had also left with the understanding that the Volturi had just not been a good fit for her. As far as she was aware, there had been no harsh words said about her departure, though she was sure Aro was a bit upset to lose her telekinetic abilities.
Adia made her way over to the blond male. Her nose wrinkled, smelling a dead body still full of blood and she looked down. “Having a bit of fun I see.” The hybrid smiled and looked back at one of the vampires she used to work for. Adia had been part of the Guard long ago, before the events with the Seattle newborn Army had taken place, though she was upset when she found out about it - she would have liked to use her training on a bunch of newborns. “It’s great to see you, but what are you doing so far from Volterra?” tag: caius notes: I'll have to make it all pretty later outfit: click

Truly the scene of this girl’s un-timely demise didn’t look a single bit out of the ordinary. No one seemed to take in what had just happened, not even the gossiping girls that sat no more than three feet away from him even seemed to slow down in their idle chit-chat over some man named Jason and how he was doing some other girl named Stacy wrong..
A few years ago he would have contributed their lack of attention to details as a prime example of the human race’s absolute stupidity. However he quickly realized that it was a defense for them that paying too much attention to the going on of others meant they would have to involve themselves in things that would lead their curious nature down the path of destruction...
No they would last long if they didn’t indulge that curious nature too much as that curious nature often ended with things like him.. However at this college town in this environment his victims were prime for the picking… They were deluded with idealistic impulses that made him seem more like a worthy suitors and less like the hunter he was..
Yes stupid gossipy girls were just like they seemed they were easy alright, they were an easy quick meal… However there would be no meal today nooo that had been postponed by his choice of an easy meal.
Frowning he pulled the straw the disregarded straw from the can of Pepsi that she would now would no longer be drinking. He watched curiously as the brown sickly sweet liquid dripped off the end.
Leaning forward a bit he used the straw to poke her in the head. Strangely now that even now that this girls was silent and all reasons of why she should be less annoying didn’t matter she was still the equivalent of a boil on the face of humanity..
He heard his voice whispered. The voice of course had his attention and his eyes were quickly combing over faces to find someone recognizable someone who would know him. Sadly he didn’t find that he found only strangers till his eyes settled on a face that fit in the scene almost as much as he did..
He couldn’t help himself he found himself openly gawking as he looked into her sky blue eyes. To say she was a beautiful would have been a travesty to any and everything she was.. Their world was full of beautiful things and beautiful people but she was well in a sense surreal.. She emitted a sense of serenity in place that was in desperate need of it..
Slowly it dawned on him.. 'Her..' Her was simply Adia, a hybrid who had worked alongside of them once upon a time more than a century ago.. So strange that they didn’t comprehend what she was and in their hands they held the evidence that so many of them longed for, the ability to father heirs. Strange that it was their mates that had been so strongly against this notion of the ability to produce heirs. His own Dora being one of the most vocal calling young Adia a witch able to transfix and create the illusion of being a hybrid which sparked some sort of paranoid delusions in his wife that had her heated on the position of wanting Adia out..
Attempting to look dis-interested he shrugged.. “ long time no see, and would hardly call being in the company of this harpy an act of good time.” He winced “ For gods sake she was talking about wearing an out of it leather and chains and passing out in a pool of her own filth in a girl’s restroom.. She honestly pondered why her boyfriend wouldn’t commit to her.. Honestly does that sound appealing for entertainment? “ He shoved the seat just left of the dead girl out..

THIS IS WHYwe're on the edgeCaius hadn’t seemed to have changed much over the years. He was still brilliant as ever, still cold and hard hearted it seemed. Still willing to kill in the open as far as no one notice he’d done it… well, no humans at least. A smirk crossed Adia’s face remember the time she spent with the Volturi. She hadn’t deliberately hidden that she was a hybrid from them. She figured they thought there was something different about her, and she was almost certain the wives knew. She remembered feeling their glares on her any time she entered the room. The attention had excited her. She doubted that with a talent like hers, Aro would allow even the wives to do away with Adia. Telekinesis was a rare gift, as far as she knew. Most vampires had gives of the mind or ways to physically manipulate people. Adia could move objects - any object - with just her mind.
It was odd, seeing him here, so far from Italy, but she wasn’t going to complain about it. She only wondered what was going on that had brought him so far out here. Maybe the Cullens. But as far as she knew, the Volturi had crumbled. And she knew this because she was currently residing with the Pure Ones, mostly using them for the training area. And protection. She needed the protection. She didn’t want anyone touching her… well, unless she approved of it of course. For instance, the vampire in front of her - she wouldn’t mind a little touching with that one.
Adia gave Caius a sly smile. “Well, I guess it’s a good thing I showed up then. Wouldn’t want you going around without having any fun.” She looked at the corpse at their feet, trying to imagine what the person would have been like from the description Caius was giving her of the woman’s personality. Adia might have been a whore, but at least she was classy about it. She wasn’t going to go around feeling up random guys. She made them come to her. And she definitely wasn’t going to walk around in a leather bondage outfit that could cover up nothing more than an infant. She liked being kinky, but damn, leave something to the imagination.
“No, it doesn’t sound entertaining or appetizing. Especially the passing out in a pool of sick.” Adia made a grimace at the woman and kicked one of the corpse’s legs. It was a shame all that blood had been wasted on such a person. Adia would have liked to drink something. “We could always go out and get some sophisticated meals. I think I’ve seen everything around here that I had intended to see. There’s probably a college café around here. We could eat some intellectuals.” That idea was a bit more appealing than the dead girl on the ground. She made a face at the woman again. “In any case, can we move from this location? My stomach is turning summersaults just looking at this sorry excuse for even a human.” tag: caius notes: haha. I'd have laughed if you did name harpy outfit: clickcredits: Green Day - viva la gloria

Well she had gotten his attention.. Then again with a face like hers she no doubt would have gotten a blind man's attention.. He was just lucky to have harbored her attention in return.. Seemed there was a bit of sunshine in that other wise drab dark boring day...Granted she wasn't Chelsea but then again even he could take a break from the unending pursuit of the unobtainable vixen for something that more than likely provide him with weeks of amusement..
He had learned a long time ago that even he was still a slave to temptation then again Dora might not have been enough of a woman for him, then again that wasn't exactly a secret his appetite had manage to let her chambers cool and his desire rested in the one that rejected him the most painful blows to his ego was when she rejected him when she was alone and single and no doubt lonely enough to fall for him.
Wouldn't have been so bad if she wasn't so damn nice and considerate to him and his ego..Always offering him just reason why he shouldn't and why she couldn't it wasn't till lately that he realized they were ploys as he had seen her use them on others with the same skill she had used them on him..She was a professional manipulator Caius was certain that Chelsea could manipulate a werewolf into giving her it's fur..
And just when he needed his break from the pangs of reality Adia popped up.. Like a oasis in the desert.. Ohhhh what an oasis she is too... He couldn't help the way his eyes combed over her features the perfection in her face hair beautifully styled to this era and her long legs clad in black tight fitting pants that showed off every god given curve that was no doubt created to make men like him break at the knee with temptation and obvious want...
He so badly wanted to touch her.. He wanted to feel her beneath his hand if anything to make she wasn't a daydream. " Yes she was truly a credit her kind.. This is what you call a Brittany in all honesty The dog form of a Brittany of the dog world is more respectable it least eats its own crap instead of just leaving it out there for the world to hear.. I don't know I'm thinking this one if it was born a dog would have been eaten at birth think its mother would have known something was wrong with it.. " He looked at her with a smirk.. " think she was a compulsive liar then again I don't know lies about being stupid..Think Dogs have more sense than that..You know it might have been because of people like our lovely friend Brittany Lyn here that that stupid lassie show was as popular as it was." He winced.. " You know how people kept wondering how that dog was sooo damn smart, did the people not get that Dog was just a dog and the family was just THAT stupid.. A family of Lyn's here running around getting trapped in wells.. I'm honestly shocked the show didn't end with Lassie hanging herself to escape her owners.."He smirked.. eating scholar's their a bit bland and the skinny ones dry up quick... I think we should raid the choir room.. What's in choir this days? Milker I love Jesus freaks.. Nothing tastes better than a slightly round 20 year old virgin.. Their blood is smooth""

THIS IS WHYwe're on the edgeCaius had a way with words and that wasn’t anything new. It was why Adia, in her days with the Volturi Guard, had developed a liking of Caius more so than for Aro or Markus. For Markus was a man tied only to the Volturi by Chelsea after the death of his beloved mate and Aro was a collector whose laugh was obnoxious and spent far too much attention, in the hybrid’s opinion, on the witch twins who would have probably kissed his feet if asked. Adia was above such action and it was clear in the way she presented herself that she would not be Aro’s toy for anything in the world - protection included. Caius had been perhaps more cruel but at least he wasn’t soft. He was interesting and had an outlook on their existence that Adia found refreshing. Often she’d thought of asking for his assistance in the tracking and killing of her father, but always decided against it. Jonathan was someone Adia needed to deal with alone. At least for now. She probably wouldn’t have objected to help, but she wasn’t going to ask for it. Her father would end up dead one way or another.
Adia looked at Caius from under her eyelashes and smiled a bit. “Oh, Caius. I hated the television during Lassie’s time. Or at all really though I do rather enjoy today’s take on our kind. Dracula fascinates me I must admit. And that Van Helsing fellow almost reminds me of the days vampires were hunted.” Of course she ran into the rare human who still thought vampires were real, but they almost always believed the myths that the television and novels had created for them. Little did the humans know that the real vampires were far more dangerous than the ones in their minds. Novels had created vampires with weaknesses, Adia thought probably to provide a false sense of security for the mortals. If they knew what vampires really were, they would be terrified to death. And what fun would drinking their blood be if they weren’t a bit surprised?
“I suppose you’re right. Sometimes I think I can taste the knowledge in the smart ones, though. But a church goer, that sounds pleasant as well. I’ve not had one of them in a while; they’re a dying breed it seems. And virgin blood is the best. Clean. Nothing toxic in their blood, though I wouldn’t mind giving them a shot or two of vodka to spice it up sometimes.” Alcohol affected her, but it took a lot more than that of a human, and the effects never lasted long. It wasn’t something she did often, but sometimes it was nice to spike the blood. tag: caius notes: Oh I LOVE the harpy's name. He found himself smiling as she reminisced about the 'ol days.' He hadn't really thought of those times and the amusement they brought.. Truly those times of demon hunters where truly amusing.
"I hear you..." he gave a slight tilt of his chin signaling over his shoulder.. " Humans used to be so much more amusing with their innocence and need for the Ideal life we painted for them.."
He laughed actually laughed which sort of shocked him as he wasn't one for open displays of emotion much less ones like humor or anything that could be considered soft.. " I tell you this much I would kill for some of those humans from those times.. I would love to have some Warrior from Transylvania armed with a bible and God's blessing and a cross with a sharpen end come at me again.."
He remembered the time that Heidi brought one from France and how the man had actually tried to stake Felix who flopped on the floor in an attempt to play along and started to convulse flopping about like a dying fish on land squealing that he was melting..
" You there for the Priest that Heidi brought the one that tried to stake Felix? that was funny.. God I would sooo trade all the over weight pimple cloak clad jokers who claim to be Lestat...For one righteous Jesus freak who think he can take me on with a bible and a spiked cross and some holy water... "

THIS IS WHYwe're on the edgeAdia had to smile. She did long for the old days when they weren’t just myth. Being hunted made things a little more interesting. Certainly it was more dangerous, but wasn’t that the thrill of it all? What was the point of being a vampire if you weren’t going to enjoy yourself and get into a little trouble now and then? It was one of the things she hadn’t really understood about Markus, though she supposed that if she wanted to live in a single place for any length of time she’d want to not be suspected of being immortal too. But the Volturi hadn’t needed to hide really. In fact they were right there in the public. That had all worked out rather nicely for them… until they were brought down and mostly killed. Adia hadn’t been in either the Volturi Guard or the Pure Ones when the Volturi finally fell. She wondered how Caius had gotten away.
“I must have been absent that day,” she said, refering to the day someone tried to stake Felix. She began walking at a human pace, only because if she was going to go to this college, which would mean leaving the protection of the Pure Ones for a while, or getting on some sort of assignment in this area, she would need to appear human. Besides, she thought it might upset the population if they were exposed and her and Caius had to kill an entire campus of people. “But it sounds incredibly entertaining. I’m sorry I missed it.”
She did miss her days with the Volturi, being disliked by the wives and anyone who had their eye on… well, anyone since Adia wasn’t picky about who she slept with. It wasn’t like she tried to wreck homes, it just happened sometimes. It helped her that telekinesis was a pretty nice power to have. While she never made it as high as the witch twins in Aro’s eyes, she was pretty sure she came damn close.
“It has been too long, Caius.” Adia smiled, truly glad to see a familiar face, even if it did confuse her why she was here. “Are you the only survivor? Are there others here as well?” Of course, she was mostly just hinting at whether or not his wife was still living, if that’s what you could call her. Adia wrapped her arms around one of Caius’s as they walked. Adia was a very touchy-feely kind of person, especially when she wanted something. To anyone walking, it might look like they were together. tag: caius notes: gah, it's blah outfit: clickcredits: Green Day - viva la gloria

It was truly too bad that the girl had loyalty issues. Caius figured that if she had proved that she would remained loyal than the pretty thing would have proved useful on the advance guard.
She after all was the best sort of toy, her gift was not like any other and she was a lot easier to work with than those who held gifts that were powerful like hers..
His thoughts jumped to Chelsea and how very temperamental she had a tendency of being, but that was the thing about that one.. She was temperamental cause she could be she was like them, and the twins they were irreplaceable.
Even now she when she was proving problematic he was still heavily devoted to her.. Had it not been for the fact that he felt the forced bond she used on him broken he would have thought all this was a figment of his imagination and that she was still using her gift on him.
Here with Adia thoughts of Chelsea and what it would mean to obtain her again faded and his ambitious thoughts allowing him a rest he focused on the enjoyment of just existing her and now with her..
He looked at her no emotion registered.. "no I'm not a solo survivor.. I'm in the processes of picking up the remnants.. Just some don't feel like bonding again.. They are being difficult as they mourn their losses" He couldn't hide the bitter tone in his voice at that last few sentences.
(sorry It is short)
