   Lucy and Seth were enjoying some time away from La Push they had managed to take a trip to California. Lucy was sunning herself on her beach blanket while Seth was over at a snack bar getting their lunch. It was nice to be away from all their troubles in La Push and Forks. It had been four days since the confrontation with Chris. The Young blond had figured her boyfriend needed a change since he had never left Washington. They were on a secluded part of the beach, she was still afraid of being recognized.
Lucy had put on some sun tan lotion. She sat up and stretched at about the time she saw Seth approaching, she smiled "Hey there handsome." she said with a smile on her face. Seth made her happy, and she was glad they were here alone on the beach and she had been overjoyed when Seth had been able to come she didn't want to be so many miles away from him for so long. Even ten hours away, from him, made her feel like an eternity. She was wearing canvas sneakers instead of sandals, she had slipped them off and sat them on the towel next to her beach bag.
"I love you, Seth." she said pulling him closer to her and kissing him, as she took a burger and fries off the tray he was carrying, This young man was the love of her life and she .was debating taking him to Collinwood to meet her father. they were staying in a small motel, it wasn't very fancy but the point was they were sharing a bed. She just liked the feeling of not sleeping alone even if they were intimate or not. "What's on your mind, Sethie?" she asked as she opened her bottle of water. After taking a sip of water she took a french fry and ate it. It was moments, like this, she treasured. Being as her father was business man they hardly ever had any alone time. So Lucy was trying her best to have as much alone time, as possible, with Seth.
The Young blonde looked into the eyes of her beloved, those calming brown eyes, She could see love in them even when he was eating and not talking. The night before coming to California they had gone to a bonfire. She she knew he kept glancing at her as he goofed off with the other shifters, it was comforting. Except she was ill at ease around his sister, Leah. She wondered if Leah knew about the confrontation with the vampire. She shook the unhappy thoughts away as she saw crabs scuttle back into the water as the waves descended from the edge of the beach and she could hear the sounds of people playing on the beach. For the first time in her life Lucero Tamsyn Collins felt normal. She wasn't wearing designer clothes, the stuff she had she had bought at second hand stores. She was using a designer beach towel but she had only payed 20 dollars for it.
She looked at Seth "What's on your mind." she asked as she, took a napkin and, wiped her mouth. This was such a lovely place and great weather, not gloomy and cloudy like Washington was 75% of the time. She sat awaiting answers

The break had done him good as he walked along the sand he had went and gotten them something to eat. The two had driven up after a few days of planning and he had to admit that things were keeping him busy. He had never been more happy that they were able to spend the past few days together had been paradise. He had a pair of swim trunks on as he made his way towards her and smiled “hey beautiful” he leaned down and kissed her cheek. The two had been in love for a month almost and he wouldn’t trade her for anything in the world as he sat down and handed her what he had gotten them “I needed this…thank you” he admitted. It had been a interesting adjustment to the changes though Lucy looked normal she was rich and that was something he had to get used to the fact that she could get anything she wanted …it was quite interesting the first few weeks.
Staying by her he leaned back on the towel and relaxed slowly his eyes closing as he paused kissing her “I love you to…your simply amazing” he whispered quietly and stayed by her side as he watched the sun. if they’re was vampires nearby they would not be out the sun was to bright. He chuckled quietly and watched a pair of girls whispering “they are jealous of you” he whispered and smiled. The fact was that he had heard a lot of talk since they had hit the beach today. It had been the same wherever they would go either someone would be talking about him or her wherever that they would go. Lucy had a habit of looking like Taylor Swift which was a funny few moments “enjoying the sun?” he asked taking one of her hands in hers as he relaxed slowly.
Everything had been moving fine with them even after the vampire problem they had come closer since then. He paused as he moved closer to her and sighed happily. He had spent almost every free moment with her since they had found each other even though he thought that it was unhealthy “did I ever tell you how glad that I am to have you in my life?” he asked her after a few moments and kissed her showing passion as he wrapped his arms around her and held her close to him and stared into her eyes “I don’t want this moment to ever end…you are the best thing that has ever happened to me” he whispered as he stared deeply into her eyes. He knew that they were meant to be together and he would always spoil her as much as he could.

She smiled at Seth "I could tell you were a little more tense and sometimes i tend to get into these little rituals. Even though you make me happy i Needed a change and i wanted you to be here with me." after they had eaten and they were resting on the beach, she rested against him "I am enjoying the sun but not as much as being here with you." she said smiling at him.
Lucy giggled when he told her what the girls were saying, She rolled over where she was on top of him and she whispered in his ear "Have you been thinking thinking about what i asked you?" they had been talking about having sex for the first time while they were alone in California. She kissed him passionately and kissed his neck. "You've awakened a part in me i never knew existed, Seth." she admitted to him, she didn't necessarily mean that part of her. She had really thought she was incapable of being a normal person until she had met him.
She grinned at him "You have, every day, but i enjoy hearing it." she said kissing him. She looked at him "I am enjoying the sun. But you are my sunshine." she said as she rolled over where she next him with her head on his chest. "That means a lot to me and I wish this moment didn't have to end either." she looked at him "Will you put some sunscreen on my back. I can't reach it." she explained, she had put on sunscreen when he had gone to the get the food, as She handed him the bottle.
She sighed as she felt him slowly rub it in, his body temperature didn't matter when they were out in the sun. "The beach is a nice change from Washington." she said it felt good as she felt him massaging the lotion into her skin. "I don't blame for being Jealous. You are one good looking guy." she said smiling as she held him close to her. The young woman looked into the calming brown eyes of her beloved "You are special to me. Not just because I love you. That day i was offered that Job it was your confirming what i was thinking that made me certain it was the best decision. Before i met you i would have just agreed because I've always been paranoid about saying no and having someone not like me." she explained to Seth Clearwater.

Being with her had been amazing that weekend as they had stayed together the weekend. Even staying in the same bed at night though things had not gone far beyond kissing and some petting. He had to admit that her offer was tempting and he had put thought in it as he kissed her lightly and ran his hand along her back and stopped just below her butt for a moment and then moved down and gave it a small squeeze as he nodded and gave her a smile. His hand was off almost as quickly as it had been there knowing that they were in public as he kissed her lightly his lips pressing against hers as he pulled her close “so wonderful” he whispered and nuzzled his head against her neck and paused “one day I will marry you” he whispered and smiled at her.
He knew that he had the perfect person in her that came with finding that one person who you were meant to be with. Raising his hand he touched her cheek and smiled. Laying there with her head against his chest he stroked her hair slowly “sure” he said and rubbed the sunscreen on her back gently massaging it into her skin gently “want me to get under your…area so you don’t get burned by the suite?” he asked her it was not a pick up line as he was concerned about her but did not want to make her upset and showed respect for her that she deserved as much as possible…then again it didn’t hurt that he would be seeing her without the suit quite soon either as he leaned down and kissed her lightly pressing his lips against hers “may have to protect your lips” he whispered a smile crossing his lips.
Their were times when he wanted to just pounce on her and have her in his own ways then he could even think about at times. Or shouldn’t have been thinking about but it was something he couldn’t help it. The fact that he loved her was what kept him in check knowing that he was the perfect person for her in a way that she was for him made up his mind. When she said she would be ready he wouldn’t push her into something that she wouldn’t like… a part of him was afraid that he would chase her away if he did act on what he was feeling about her scared him…he was feeling things that he had never felt before and the thought alone made his whole body shudder in desire “whenever your ready” he whispered and kissed her again.

She sighed as he squeezed her butt, a she looked at him "I will be happy to marry you when you when the time comes. to be honest, until i met you, the idea of marriage made me uncomfortable. only because my father insisted on the idea that there's some kind of family honor." she said in a gentle tone, she was never sure if there was family honor when most generations of her family were known to have killed people. She caressed his cheek, "you are an extremely handsome man." she grinned at him
Lucy giggled when he asked about her bikini line "I didn't really think about that. I am wearing skirt over my swimsuit. so i wasn't really worried about my bikini line below the waist." she said as she felt his hand massage the sun tan lotion onto her skin, she looked into his eyes as she pushed her sunglasses up her nose. She grinned at him "I have chap stick with UV Protection, silly." she said as she returned the kiss "you are my knight." Lucy whispered to Seth and kissed his neck "I love you, i wish we could stay here longer this place had relaxed me so much." she said
Lucy winked at him "I am ready. To be honest i've been trying to hold back on it because i was afraid of coming across as desperate. I know you would never be scared off by it. but I've been afraid." she said as she looked as she looked at him "If it will be your first tie we ca share it together because I am a virgin. I trust you, and this is a matter of trust." as the young blonde looked at him, "it's getting hot. And i want to send more time with you without being stared at." she looked at him "would you mind carrying my things?" Sometimes she looked at him, it was odd knowing he was was younger than her "Good thing you look a little older than me i might hear cougar jokes." she looked into his eyes
"You make me feel like a princess though. In fact in my journal I refer to myself as the Princess who Escaped From the Castle." she rested against him as they waited to work up the energy to stand up, she loved being lazy, which was odd considering she had hated being lazy at Collinwood.
She looked into his eyes and took his hand "Seth, i am as ready for this as you are i can tell by the way you act around me that you've been thinking about it." she said, "I am just not one to tease you sexually." she said to him at she kissed him and folded her towel and took the trash and found a trash can. She tossed the trash gingerly into the can and took a handy wipe out of her bag after returning to where Seth was waiting for her "I wish we didn't have to go home." that was the first time she had called La Push her Home, that's because it was where she had met seth. She had spend so much time since she had started living in La Push fantasizing about what it would be like to be with one of the handsome men who lived on that reservation. While she was lost in her thoughts Seth had pulled into the parking place near the door to their room. When they went into their room she went into the bathroom and changed into a nighty "What do you think?" she asked

The day seemed to go by fast as they spent it together his arms were usually wrapped around her in different ways. He knew that they would be together that night but he was tempted to move in where they stood now as he walked inside with her he paused “we should jump in the shower” he admitted. He knew that he smelled from the water somewhat the term wet dog made a smile come to his face. He knew that he would have to call and make sure everything was okay with the pack even though they had issues things seemed to be settling down which was always a plus. Taking a breath he paused and removed his shirt and looked in the mirror for a moment and glanced back at Lucy “care to join me?” he asked her after a few moments a small smile on his face. He had to admit that things were going good and he enjoyed the time that they had spent on the beach and what would come later that day was what he was looking forward to the most
Later as they laid there he kissed her neck softly “I love you“ he whispered. She had been the most wonderful thing that had ever happened to him and the more time that they were together he quickly had realized that he hoped to be with her for the rest of time. Closing his eyes he relaxed against the pillow and stroked her hair “best night ever” he admitted. Leaning down he kissed her brushing his lips against hers and sighed happily. He wouldn’t trade her for the world when it came to it he knew that he could be true to himself and not hide anything. She always listened when he needed someone and that was the best asset of having her…they could trust each other as much as anyone that was alive even when he thought of the pack he had more faith in Lucy then all of them combined.
Snuggling with her he paused and pressed his body against hers the warmth between them was almost a shock. pausing he reached over and ran his fingers along her neck and then to where her heart was. Placing his hand on his own he paused and counted each beat “we are in perfect synch” he whispered a smile coming to his face as he sighed “how do you feel?” he hoped that he had not hurt her he knew that things could be hard the first time with a girl and had been as gentle as humanly possible when it came to things. Sighing happily he rested his arms around her and held her close “we are meant to be together” he admitted and smiled. Things were finally looking up with life and he knew that they would be together as long as they would both live no matter how long or short he would be thankful for every minute.

Lucy looked at him, as he took off his shirt. she laughed she hadn't realized, there was sand on her, until he suggested a shower "I do need to cool off. but I am not sure how we will cool down." she said running her finger down his super heated skin, She looked at him "You are one good person. I love you." she took his hand after undressing and they went into the bathroom "I like having someone to wash my back." she took her necklace off and placed it in the small jewelry box, on the counter, in the bathroom. She had been nervous about this too but she knew they both wanted it.
After they had finished, she sighed it had been magical. He had been gentle and it was more special since it seemed to be their first time she was sweating and breathing heavy. It took her a few minutes to calm down enough to speak. She placed her hand on his chest "I love you too, Seth. You're the first person i've ever seen myself marrying and having a family with." she looked into his eyes "I know having children is an uncomfortable subject with shifters since you worry about them being born in world with vampires." she said "It has been the best night ever. This whole trip has been wonderful." she said as she looked at him "You just let me talk when i feel like rambling. Fair warning if you ever meet my father he has a temper and drinking problem. He's usually holding a glass of scotch, or brandy. If you ask him about it he will get mad and throw things. I suppose that's because of him being a werewolf." she said "Not shifter like you. You know like the movie wolf man." she said.
Lucy grinned and kissed him "As they will always be. I am not sure what i would if you ever died." she had been trying to avoid ever bringing it up "I am doing fine. It's just when you're on patrol i always worry about hearing that you were killed." she said "we are meant to be together. we were made for each other and i feel like this was the best thing and i think you will make great father when the time comes to start a family." little were they aware that his semen was working its way towards one of her eggs, would soon be starting a new life to be brought in the world. She twined her fingers with his and she was little sore from the work out they had done having sex for the first time.
She looked into his eyes "After we rest a little, we can order room service." his gentle brown eyes were calming to her "I like seeing you away from the shifters. When you can be yourself and not just a protector of the Olympic Peninsula. I want you to always see yourself as a man. I think you see yourself as monster because of the wolf spirit inside of you. But you are still human." she said looking at him and caressing his cheek. "Do you think your mother will like me?" she asked and a short time later "explain more to me about vampires and shifters." she said she wanted to understand his life since she had trusted him enough to tell him her secrets., she wanted to understand about the wolf side of him. She caressed his cheek and kissed him "Try not to talk too fast or low. So i don't get too confused." she said
The young blond giggled "I almost forgot remember how you told me about what the girls on the beach were saying. when i went to the ladies room, there were two girls & they tried to act like they weren't talking about me. But they think you're a male model or surfer." she was glad there had been actual rest rooms at the beach. She hated porto potties. they were always hot and stinky and claustrophobic. She kissed him before he started speaking "Remember how i told you i am an only child the truth is I simply don't know if my brother is, still, alive but my aunt told me before she died that dad had an affair with her and she gave the baby up for adoption so my father wouldn't treat him like an object." she said and she felt better telling him that she had been carrying that around with her, subconsciously, for almost 5 years.
After about thirty minutes she managed to sit up "Your Wolf form is, i hope this doesn't sound weird, pretty. It means a lot to me that you showed me your wolf form to show i'd be safe." She took his hand "I think I'll order a pizza." she explained she had been craving it all day but she didn't want to eat something like that in front of strangers. In the few weeks she had been with Seth she had become more herself than she thought she could be. "What toppings do you want?" She inquired of her beloved Seth. "Anything but black olives." Lucy paused a moment "i mean on a supreme Pizza, i don't mind."
"Would you hand me something to put on? When the Pizza comes after we order it." she grinned "I could wear one of your t-shirts." she ginned at him

Seth laid in bed with her his eyes closed as he took a breath and looked into her eyes as he leaned down and kissed her forehead and slowly sat up the blanket falling off his chest as he hummed. Things were wonderful at the moment and he knew that he had made the right decision by coming in with her to California so far from everyone and everything that had bothered him for so many months as he glanced back and stood up slowly made his way down to the bathroom and splashed some cold water on his face “I am surprised that you can handle all this so easy” taking a breath he brushed his hand through his hair before he went back and sat down on the bed his hand finding hers and wrapping his fingers through hers and gave her hand a gentle squeeze as he looked into her eyes and smiled.
He had seen so many of the pack get imprints and they were always happy which was a plus. He had wondered how that would be able to have that and when he had been around Lucy he knew that he had been right. The two were a perfect match and he could not be happier at times as he took a breath and leaned down and kissed her. Brushing his lips against hers as he closed his eyes “you mean everything to me” his words were soft. The moment that he had found her he had known that he was in heaven with her even before that night something about her had always been a comfort. He could talk to her about anything and at times would spend late nights with her on the phone either talking or testing on the phone about different things. She was a good comfort to him and he would not let her go for anything else in the world.
Looking into her eyes for a moment he tilted his head to the side and smiled at her and laid down on her other side and wrapped his arms around her slender waist gently as he stared into her eyes and gave a small smile “so beautiful” he whispered quietly to her and pressed his body against hers again and cuddled up close to her. Everything that he had ever wanted was in this small girl and even though they may not be perfect they were all each other would have at times. Taking a breath he smiled at her as he felt more then comfortable with being so close to her as he gently kissed her neck placing his head against her neck and inhaling her scent “god your amazing” he smiled at her as he nuzzled her neck closing his brown eyes “I love you” he whispered once again as he relaxed slowly.
Moving his head away he laid it by hers on the pillow finding it relaxing. Since he had been a wolf he found happiness that had stuck around for years until it had come time for college when he had wanted to do something besides being a wolf. The fact was that they would never be able to retire and the thought made him sad but he knew where his place was…things had cleared up since he had found Lucy and he had reasons to stay which he was sure that Jake and the others were happy about…or at least he hoped that they were.

 As Lucy rested against Seth, she knew one thing that she made him as happy as she felt around him. "I know, Seth. It means the world to me. Do you think if you hadn't imprinted we would've still ended up together? I always watched you and the other shifters from distance thinking none of them could possibly think i was attractive. I always wondered if i'd be able to trust anyone with the secrets I told you." she looked at him "When i decide to go back to Collinwood I want you with me." she paused "You make me feel like anything is possible, with you there I won't be afraid of Uncle Gabriel. There's just one thing. He's in a wheel chair but he doesn't really need it he just wants a reason to blame my father for all that goes wrong." she stopped short of telling him that Gabriel had once tried to kill her because her grandmother's will had stated the son who produced a female child would inherit the mansion and half the money. So Gabriel had once tried to kill her so everything would go back to the way it had been.
She watched him stand up "I am not saying I never lie but I seem to be the only person born in the collins family that hasn't been the direct or indirect cause of someone's death." she thought for a minute and when she returned to Collinsport she would go to the sheriff with the photos she had taken, of Gabriel, while stargazing. she had them hidden under the loose floor boards in her room. If she knew her mother well enough she wouldn't let anyone remove anything from her room. She knew once she did that Gabriel would make another attempt to kill her. Her uncle was the only person person in the world who truly scared her "Seth, I want to tell you something." she paused to try to find the right way to say this.
After a few minutes of thinking She began to speak "Once when I was a child. My uncle locked me in the storage room, of one of the abandoned houses on the Collins Estate." that was true it had had happened before the time he had tried to choke her to death "All they did was send him to a mental hospital for ten months. Have you ever seen photos of serial killers? if you look at their eyes it's like there's nothing there. That's way my uncle looks when he looks at me." She explained as she started to cry. She had never thought she would tell anyone what her darkest fear was. Her Biggest Fear Was Gabriel Collins. Judged to be Clinically insane yet sent home to live with his family. She managed to calm down, as she thought about Gabriel she caressed her neck as far as she knew she had no visible marks from that moment several years before where her uncle had tried to kill her
She still had the other fears, but they seemed secondary when reality was truly full of scarey things, like serial killers. Vampires, werewolves, The Volturi. Ever since he had told her there were vampires she had been looking around her trying to figure out why. "I am not that amazing. I've always been amazed that you think i am amazing i am not all that amazing." she looked into his eyes and carressed his cheek "I love you too." she looked into his eyes "I am glad we have a few days where i don't have to worry about you getting hurt." she said. she had to admit that she sometimes had hard time sleeping when she knew seth was patroling "Have you decided what you are going to do about college. You can take online courses. with those you only have to go to the campus at the end of the semester for finals. I could help you study. I inheritted quite a bit of intellect from my mother." she didn't brag a lot. She actually liked the idea that her mother had been educated in Paris. 'Not that my father is an idiot. He just has a temper. I can't remember if i told you this, but four and half years ago before i decided to Leave Collinsport my last conversation with him escalated into a screaming match. My mother always says as much as I would like to deny it much of personality comes from my father." She may not like her father very much but she does respect him. She only hoped someday he would accept her as she truly was now.
