Adia was adjusting. She had been with the Pure Ones for a while now and she was finally starting to feel like she might be safe there. It had nothing to do with the large, thick walls of the castle and the tight knit security. It had everything to do with the fact that, though she'd left the Volturi before the Pure Ones had taken over, and she knew that the people around her were aware that she had once been in the Guard, but she didn't feel like she had to watch her back every time she turned a corner. She felt like she could move around the castle without having to worry about someone trying to kill her, which would be a lot easier, she assumed, than killing a vampire since she was only a hybrid. But damn it if she wasn't a tough one. Adia might have been a bit spoiled, stolen from her victims and used their money and credit cards to buy new things. But she was tough as nails too.
Most days Adia could be found in the training room, which was where she was now. The person she trained with was a vampire in the castle, but Adia trained long and hard. She had to if she was determined to find her father and kill him. Adia was set on finding the man who killed the only human she'd ever really loved. Oh, sure, she'd had a few humans in bed, then she took what she needed and left, but she hadn't loved a human like she'd cared for her mother.
The bad thing about training so hard was that even vampires lost interest after a while. “Again!” Adia demanded, but the vampire just shook her head and walked off. “Useless,” she muttered as she walked over to her bottle of water and took a long drink from it. Adia was a hybrid, so she could live off of blood and she could have human food and drink as well. Water, while she thought it had zero taste, did keep her fairly hydrated, so she always brought it with her when she was training.
She looked around. No one else was in the training area right now. Okay, so sparring was out. That didn't stop the hybrid though. Her little 5'3” body could keep at this all day. Or all night. Whichever. But she was half human, so she did have to take breaks sometimes, and she would sweat a little, which originally she thought was gross until a vampire told it made her smell like candy. She thought that was weird until he explained that it was a sweet smell. Well, whatever. As long as it wasn't gross. She started kicking and punching at air, imagining that there was an opponent there, the entire time reminding herself why she was doing this. Got. To kill... dad.

Chris had been out most of the day looking around the area. He had found the city brimming in celebration though he had forgotten what else that it was. Having spent most of the time enjoying the scene he had told the others to come though he had not seen them. Resting his hands inside of his pockets he closed his eyes and slowly rested his hands inside of his pockets. As he made his way closer a scent caught his nose and the smile that crossed his lips was unmistakable…Adia someone that he found one of the more interesting of the people he had recruited over the years…she was always a trip to see around the castle.
Walking around the corner he spotted her as she stood there and smiled and moved towards her “Adia my dear” he whispered his voice sweet as honey as he stepped up and wrapped his arms around her waist slowly “how have you been? You missed an interesting day outside the inland was alive with so many people around” he chuckled. He had hunted once out there they would never find the body and with so many people around it had made hunting easy and he had enjoyed the taste of blood that was fresh and easy for the taking as he closed his eyes and relaxed completely around her. She was one of the few that he had trusted even in the worst times he knew she could be trusted as he had found her as one of the first recruits many years ago.
The news of hybrids had come out after the Volturi came across the Cullen female and he had seen the possibility and searched for one until Adia had come into the picture he had thought that perhaps that they were meant to find each other he had no idea but he enjoyed it. Reaching up he touched her cheek and then brushed her hair from her eyes “you look amazing” he admitted with a small smile. She was attractive he would give her that though he had not sampled from her body he had held her close more then once which was always tempting as far as he could remember even now he held back from tearing her cloths off though he shifted from one foot to the other as he stared into her eyes “what have you been up to today?” he asked her as he kissed her forehead “little one” he teased slightly using his pet name for her though he believed it annoyed her at times.

The hybrid continued to throw punches and kicks at the air until she heard the familiar voice of her leader. Christopher Thomas. One of the few people Adia hadn't taken to bed yet, though only because he was their leader and she'd been a bit hesitant to make such a drastic move with him knowing she'd once been with the Volturi. Part of their Guard even. It wasn't like that made her really dangerous with the majority of the Volturi dead dead or on the run. But she also hadn't been one of the people to help destroy the Volturi. She wouldn't do that. She'd left the Volturi before everything had happened, but she wasn't going to betray them either, though she didn't expect those still surviving from that particular coven to believe her. In any case, it made things between her and Chris a bit complicated.
The leader was, for lack of a better word, hot. There was no denying that. If he'd been a normal person, a human or any other vampire, she'd have jumped him by now and probably moved on. But he wasn't normal. He was their leader, and to be honest, she was a bit worried about whether he'd be able to take a hybrid's power or not. She liked her power, and she wasn't about to give it up willingly. She knew he had two others, which two he had, she didn't know. Adia stopped fighting her invisible opponent and pulled her hair out of the pony tail, shaking her head a bit to let the blond locks fall around her. “Hello, Chris.” She smiled and grabbed her water bottle, downing the rest of the clear liquid and stretching her neck. Sometimes being half human was inconvenient.
It was obvious that Christopher was fond of her. The way he touched her, the way he spoke to her, the way he teased her even if she didn't exactly like that last one all the time. “I've been training, old man.” She put emphasis on the old part just for him calling her little. His arms were around her waist and she let her hands rest on his chest. “But I'm sorry I missed a good time. Perhaps you'll take me out to eat later... or we could order in.” Of course, that last one was meant to just bring some human in and feed. Adia liked to play with her food, often teasing it before finishing it off. She wondered if Chris would be in the mood for something like that. “I'm sure we could have tons of fun.” It wasn't abnormal for her to flirt with him. That was constant. And they were always touching around each other, they just hadn't done anything beyond that. Yet. Adia smiled. “And you only think I look nice because I'm wearing hardly anything, but that's okay.” She let her body lean into his slightly. She wasn't really tired, but she did like the feeling of being close to someone, anyone, and Chris was a nice hunk of anyone.
She looked at the door and focused for a minute before shutting and locking it with her mind. The door made a noise like a soft slam and she could hear the lock click. When she spoke again her voice came out as a seductive whisper. “Or, you could help train me for a bit.”

Chris smiled and held her close as he stroked her hair slowly and closed his eyes. He had to admit that he enjoyed the feeling of her in his arms. He chuckled at her asking about a night out on the town and twirled her before he caught her and bent her backwards and stared into her eyes “perhaps if you can keep up” he leaned forward and brushed his lips against her nose for a moment and stared into her eyes and smiled before he pulled her back up and wrapped his arms around her firmly. Running his fingers down her spine he smiled “but I can see us having a good night either way” he whispered in her ear and smiled.
As she brought up her cloths he smiled and looked her over “I had not noticed” he admitted a small chuckle as his hands traveled down her body and he coped a small feel of her treasures… yes she was quite beautiful and one day he would make sure that she would be his weather she knew it or not. He smiled lightly and moved away resting his hands on her he smiled “perhaps some training and then a shower…then a night out” he whispered into her ear. He would have her tonight if he had his way she was a simple hybrid that he had come across. Giving her butt another squeeze he moved away from her and gave himself some room and got into a stance…he would humor her.
She had at one time been a Volturi guard and even though he disliked them she had not been there when they had gone after them. She had been with his coven and he had let her say behind. He had seen the conflict and not wanting to put her through it allowed her to stay at the castle where she would not have to be upset. So far she had proven herself to be worth the trouble and the smile that was on his face was clear as he watched her body graceful and sexy he smirked “so what is the bet this time?” he asked her and raised an eyebrow. He liked betting with others it gave him some fun but he was curious if he could get her to agree…and see what he would possibility win from this training.
He had patience with her and smiled lightly as a vampire he knew he would have some speed and strength advantages against her. It would come to how well she had been training and if she was a good fight “come on kiddo show me what you’ve got” he teased her a small smirk coming to his lips. He liked teasing her even if he knew that it annoyed her he liked seeing her frustrated it would make his job right now so much easier he thought as he cracked his knuckles and smiled at her and waited…he was giving her the first move so he could see how she would attack…if she did at all.

Naturally, Chris moved a bit faster than Adia because he was full vampire and she was only half. She wouldn’t change that about her though, since she was going to live forever anyway. It helped her to blend in with the humans since she could be out in the sun and not sparkle like a fresh snow. Still, she had to respect someone who could move so fast. She smirked as he spun her around and then dipped her backwards. “I think I’ll be able to keep up just fine.” She smirked as he kissed her nose and then let her back to her feet. It was a bit scary, being so close to Christopher, knowing what his gift was. Of course, that was part of the fun. She didn’t think he’d actually take hers since she was loyal enough to the coven. Sure, she traveled now and then, but she always came back. She felt his hands trail along her body. She was wearing very little clothing, so at times his fingers touched her skin, sending chills down her spine and not just because his body was physically a bit on the cool side.
“I’m sure we can find something to do to have a little fun,” she said, her voice coming out in a bit of a raspy whisper. Her features were flirtatious, her eyes glued to him, looking at him through her eyelashes, her body positioned so that her curves were emphasized, not that she needed to emphasize much. Adia was completely aware that she was pretty, gorgeous even to some people. She’d been told several times. She arched a delicate looking eyebrow at her coven leader. “You hadn’t noticed my clothing? Christopher, I’m surprised by you. I’d think lack of clothing would be the first thing you’d look at when it came to a woman.”
She smiled a little as Chris outlined his plan for the evening. Training, shower, out? She could live with that, provided the showers weren’t separate. She’d just love to get her hands on a soaking Chris Thomas. She watched him move away from her a bit so they could start practicing. “I think that sounds like an excellent idea.” She smirked and shook her hair back. She trained every day so she knew she was a good fighter. She also knew Christopher was probably at least a bit better, since he was the leader of their coven and he’d been the one to lead the coven, minus her, to destroy the Volturi. She’d been lucky that he’d allowed her to stay behind.
“A bet?” Another smirk. She knew Chris liked to gamble a bit, in fact, she was almost sure that the entire coven knew Chris liked a bit of a gamble. She thought for a moment. While she was thinking he called her a kiddo. She hated being referred to as a child. She was over three hundred-years-old for crying out loud. Sure, a lot younger than a lot of vampires and she was physically still a teenager, but that shouldn’t stop anyone. And it certainly didn’t make her a kid. He was the only one she allowed to call her things like that without arguing too much about it, though she was sure he knew it annoyed her. “If I win, you get to find me someone sweet to eat later. If you win, I’ll make sure you have the best night of your life… and I’ll wear something skimpy while doing it. Sound good?” Of course, either way she won, and either way she’d show him a good time, but she wanted to remind him that she was experienced in certain areas. Without another move she went into action, throwing a kick in his direction that she knew wouldn’t hurt him even if it did hit him. The downside of not being a vampire, you just weren’t as strong as them.

He smiled down at her his crimson eyes calm as he watched her. He knew that he had her where she stood if he wanted her. The fun part was what made his eyebrows goes up but he stayed his distance from her as he watched curiously “come now dear I am sure your idea of fun and mine can be quite different” he smirked at her. Though they would have a good time he planned to have her on his own tonight as he had felt her chills going down her spine “or is it?” he asked with a raised eyebrow and a calm smirk painted on his lips as he watched her.
Her clothing ah yes the main reason that he had come to her like this. As he glanced at her he smiled “if you would like I will personally help you out of those cloths…you maybe a bit more comfortable dear” he chuckled at the thought. Yes he knew about her…sex life one would have to turn a decent blind eye if they didn’t, he had not taken her to his bed yet but that would change quite quickly as he watched her. A small smile coming to his lips as he listened carefully to her for a moment and smirked at her as he moved forward and wrapped his arms securely around her waist again.
“my dear you should offer something that I know I cant already have” he whispered into her ear as he traced his fingers along her skin and smirked. He enjoyed these little games where he could see how strong a persons resolve and how far he could push it until it broke. Smiling at her he paused as he leaned down and rested his hand on the back of her neck and kissed her a firm yet passionate kiss that would send many human females crazy over his long life sliding his tongue over her lips he pulled away with a pat of her back he smiled and backed away from her…a very satisfied and cocky smirk on his lips.
He enjoyed when he saw a woman squirm when in his arms ever since he could remember which was shortly after he had become a vampire. Most of his human life had been a bleur even though he had some bits and pieces he had nothing that made him want to find everything about his past perhaps figuring that he would find things he didn’t want to in his own way he figured ignorance was bliss in his eyes at times. When you had everything that you could want and then some why search for what you didn’t know? He didn’t want to change that so he mostly ignored his human life it was not like he could change anything about it anyway he thought laughing somewhat bitterly.
Shaking his head he gave her a small smirk as he watched her coe on then dear show me what you’ve got” he told her as his crimson eyes watched her. He had to admit that she had talent in her he had seen it the hard way at times. He smiled lightly at her and got in a stance. he watched as she came towards him at a quick speed and he felt her kick and growled slightly as he tilted his head to the side "come now dear you can hit harder then that cant you? if you can get me on the ground ill find you ten yummy humans to eat" he smirked and moved ready to strike her with a kick in the stomach

Adia was a bit surprised at the cockiness of her leader, though she knew from the start that he was rather confident. It was kind of funny though, because yes, Chris was attractive and Adia would love to jump him, but if she hadn’t wanted him, he wouldn’t have gotten her. She didn’t screw people she didn’t like. Or, well, people she didn’t find attractive. And she certainly wasn’t one to squirm. Adia was a bit proud, and she held her own. She liked that about herself - that she didn’t let anyone get the better of her… usually. “Why, Chris, whatever gave you the impression that you could have me?” She smirked, her voice coming out soft and smooth. “If you’ve been so sure you could get me, why haven’t you yet?” She fluttered her lashes flirtatiously.
The hybrid sighed and smirked. “But I guess I can let you take my clothes off a little later.” But with the way things were going, it’d be a very little later. Adia was glad she’d shut the doors with her mind earlier. Not that she minded an audience, but it might have been a little distracting if some of their coven members walked in. She ran her hands through her hair.
After she sent the first kick Chris retaliated. She tried to get out of the way in time, but the kick hit her right where it was supposed to. Her skin was not as strong as a vampire’s and she knew she would have a bruise there soon. It would also probably heal really quickly. She probably could hit a bit harder, but she also knew that she couldn’t really do any damage to their leader, that was sort of treason. Not to mention, he was a vampire. It would be really difficult for her to do much damage. It didn’t stop her from thinking that when the time came, she could do away with her father though.
“Get you on the ground, huh?” She smirked stopped the fighting. “Is there a certain way I have to get you on the ground, or just on the ground in general?” Adia ran a hand under Christopher’s shirt and gave him another coy smile. She stepped closer and wrapped her other arm around his shoulders. She shook her hair behind her back and pressed her chest against him. “I think I could get you on the floor this way, don’t you?”

He had the advantage in every aspect except one and she was the one flaw. looking at her as she stepped forward a small smirk came to his face as she stepped towards him his eyes watching hers as she spoke about getting him on the ground he raised an eyebrow at her. Ah so this was her game he thought but allowed it to continue. He ha to admit that he was surprised as he touched her cheek “you play dirty my dear” he admitted a small coy smile coming to his lips as he watched her. He enjoyed the thought of it as he looked into her eyes his crimson eyes calm :I like it” he teased her as he traced a finger along her body.
He had found her attractive on many levels she was stunning as a hybrid and other ways. of course it did not hurt that she had a look that could kill even when she was covered up. He had wanted to take her in his arms and hold her in them. True he knew that chances were it would be a one night stand and then during the day he would lose her until the two decided to have more quality time together but he shook the thought from his mind as he smiled “perhaps give it a try” he offered her with a smile. Perhaps he could let her win this battle without laying a finger on her after the kick…he hated to hurt her even in training as she was a gem of a body…such a shame if he bruised it.
Reaching forward he traced his fingers along her hair and smiled “for two and a half humans I will let you win and then give you the night of your life” he teased her with a smirk. He wanted her and he believed that she did want him it was just a matter of seducing her to his bed. To him it was a shame that he had not given her the honor of his bed in the past few years that they had known each other he had found her attractive but her past still bothered him sometimes and maybe that was what held him back now from ripping all her cloths off and taking her where she stood “your call my dear” he said as he relaxed to her touch.
