Renesmee was bored, and hungry. Not for human food though. Bleh. As usual there was some at the house but she hated the taste of it. Some foods were okay but she wanted blood. It was the only source of food she actually liked and didn't give trouble about eating, er, drinking.
And... she wasn't sure where mommy or daddy were, or her Jacob, but she wanted to go out. She didn't stray to far from the house, of course not! She didn't want to make them worry! She only went in far enough to catch a deer or... something. She wasn't going to be picky today.
Plus she wanted to play. There wasn't much to do at the house and she was tired of playing with her toys. The woods were much more fun.
Footsteps barely making a sound as her tiny form dashed through the woods, bronze locks whipping around behind her, Renesmee chased after the scent of deer. A smile on her lips and a few giggles escapping them as she ran.

Bella drove up to the house after leaving early to go get a few things they needed. Edward had agreed to leave with them, and she still had to pack for them, and Nessie. Nessie had still been sleeping when she had left that morning, and now it was noon and Bella was hoping to see her daughter, to tell her about their little vacation. Nessie had no idea, and Edward and Bella had both agreed that they wouldn't tell their child about the problems they were having. It was in her best interest. It wasn't like they were divorcing, they were working it out.And that was all that mattered.
But as fates would have it, Nessie was gone when she went to check in on her. She wasn't with Edward, so the only option would be outside. It was normal for Nessie to wander off outside to entertain herself. So she wasn't super worried about it. But still she wanted her daughter. So she went looking for her. It didn't take Bella long to pick up on her hybrid scent. But she didn't smell Jake. That was odd, he normally went with her, just out of protection. The fact that he wasn't with Nessie made her move a little faster.
But it wasn't long before she found the small child. She caught up to her easily and scooped Nessie up in her arms, giving her a hug and a kiss before setting her back down. "There you are I was trying to find you." She said lovingly with a smile on her face. Nessie always seemed to brighten everything in Bella's world, even more than Edward did. Maybe it was the fact that she looked like her husband, or the fact that she knew she carried this being inside of her and died just so she could live. Bella would have sacrificed everything for Nessie, just to keep her family going. But this time no one was sacrificing anything. They were going to go on a little vacation and work on family togetherness and grow more in love with each other.

Giggling, the young brunette ran through the woods, swerving past trees and boulders. She liked being out in the forest. All the sounds, the colors, the creeks of the trees as the wind blew through it, the bugs in the earth, the feel of the wind in her hair. All of it was an exhilerating feeling. Out here was her second favorite place to be, her first being with her family and Jacob. she loved it out here.
Stopping besides a fallen tree, Renesmee looked around letting her gaze fall over the area. It was beautiful out. The sky was near sunset, casting a warm glow against the forest floor. Shining against everything in it's path.
But even with this beauty, Renesmee was distracted. Her brows furrowing slightly. The sound of footsteps hitting against the forest floor reached Renesmee's ears and with it, she turned around in confusion to see what it was. It sounded as if it was coming towards her, and it sounded close too.
Within seconds, Renesmee saw her mother standing before her, slightly startling the young girl. She felt herself being lifted, pulled into her mother's arms into a hug and giving her a kiss as well.
A smile tugged at her lips as she was set down, her chocolate eyes staring up at her mother. She had been nervous that she'd be mad at her for wandering off, but by the smile Bella gave her she figured that everything was alright. "I'm sorry mommy. I got bored." That was the truth. She wasn't exactly hungry enough to hunt something, but she was bored. She wanted to play and this was her favorite place to do so.
