amberly walked in the front door of the house she shared with her little sister Evren. It had been a really long day at work and she was all too ready to relax with her sister and enjoy the remainder of the night. The two of them had always been close, almost inseparable. It had been like that for years.
Amberly didn't like that she had to work, but someone had to make the money around the house. So she had gotten a job as a cocktail waitress at a bar in Port Angeles. It was quite degrading to be honest, but she made damn good money. But it was definitely trying. All those drunks, hitting on her and grabbing her ass all the time, she was lucky she hadn't lost it yet. But her saving grace was coming home from work to her sister and seeing her happy. That was all that mattered, because she was doing this to give her the right kind of life. A life where she didn't have to worry about a thing.
So coming in the door, she was hoping to hear a television on or something. Amber set her keys on the table by the door and walked further in the house. "Evren?" sHe called out looking for the younger girl. Hopefully she was home and didn't go out without letting her know. Evren had her freedom, and could do as she pleased, but Amberly liked to know where she was, so that she knew the younger female was safe. She was protective, even more so that she pretty much raised the kid. Ever since their parents were killed, Amberly was more cautious about Evren. SHe didn't want her sister hurt. And if that meant she came off as a little bit over protective, then so be it. sHe was just looking out for her sister. Outfit: www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=32292716

Evren normally waited for her sister to come home before she really did anything. Today was different, however. She found it difficult to stay still. So she spent the day, while Amber was at work to occupy herself. She tried to sit her room and doodle on her sketchpad only to grow bored five minutes into it. Then she put her mp3 on her little radio — which had an aux hook up — and started to paint a mural on her wall. She only stopped when she was satisfied it was perfect before she changed into her toga-style dress and white flats. She put on a couple pieces of jewelry and slipped a hairclip in her hair.
”Evren?”
Ev hadn’t heard the door over her music, but she did hear her sister call her name. Her eyes widened and her smile spread as she ran out of her room to greet Amberly, nearly tackling the older witch to the floor when she jumped her with a massive hug. Evren wasn’t the happiest girl in the world. Well not normally anyway. She would be content of course, but her predominant mood was usually depressing. This happy mood was uncharacteristic for her, especially when taking into her account that she had taken to crying in her room for days.
“Amber, I’m sooooo glad you’re home,” she said, grinning brightly. “I painted a mural on a wall in my room. It’s so pretty do you want to see it?”
Evren was unaware that something was off with her. She was just really happy and didn’t care to take to close of a look at it. She barely waited for her words to register with her sister before she pulled the woman toward her bedroom. The mural was of a mass of color and glitter. However, there was rhyme and reason to the chaotic image. It was obvious if one really looked at it that picture was a field during at night The aurora borealis highlighted the sky, and little specks of color and glitter highlighted the field.
“Do you like it?” she asked, hopeful.
The euphoric mood hadn’t dimmed down or died. Her eyes were wide and bright and she was talking fast and smiling brightly. At this point she just seemed really happy and perhaps having binged on sugary treats and caffeine.
