Jake wrapped his arms around her as soon as she woke. He wasn't about to let her go right at that moment. He watched as a sleepy Leah opened her eyes slowly, turning in his direction. "I highly doubt anyone's here. If there was, we would have been able to hear Rachel's loud obnoxious voice." Jake whispered back, he wasn't too sure if anyone was really around; so he insisted on keeping himself on the safe side. If Billy were to walk through his bedroom door right now, he knew for a fact he would have allot of explaining to do. All the entire pack had seen was how Leah and him had argued. Now, they were in the same bed wearing hardly anything.
As soon as Leah pulled herself up, Jake made his way off of the bed. Maybe it was best if he had Checked for Billy. He just didn't feel like explaining anything. Especially since everyone knew her had already "imprinted" on Renesmee. Creeping over towards his bedroom door, Jake slowly opened it peering his head through the door. There was no sign of any actions upstairs that he could see. Making his way out the door, he walked towards the stairs. Everything was still. Thank goodness no one was home. Turning back to the bedroom, Jake shut the door behind him. A smile came across his face as he made a hurdling run for the bed, tackling Leah. "The coast is clear." He chuckled.
After laying in the bed for a good half hour, Jake glanced to the time. There wasn't really anything he had to do, besides pile wood all day. Shoving the covers back, he got back out of bed picking up some clothes off of the floor. Quickly slipping them on, he opened his bedroom curtains. "You want me to make you breakfast? Or take you out to get some." It wasn't a problem for him if he had to buy them breakfast. Really, he didn't feel like cooking. They had an amazing night together, and he felt like keeping that spark lit. "Forget it, just grab some clothes from Rachel's drawer and lets go get something." Jacob knew his sister wouldn't really mind at all. They had to be around the same size anyway.
Picking clothes off the ground, Jake searched for his keys. As long as he kept a clear conscience no one would really know what had went on between the two of them. That was how it had to be for a while. Jake wasn't about to get slaughtered by a group of Vampires. Not right now. Finally finding his keys under his bed, he picked them up. Slowly making his way out of the bedroom.

Elated. That was a pretty good way to describe how Leah was feeling right now. She was stuck in her own little world with the alpha of their pack… again… only this time a different alpha. And it was better than she’d imagined because by some weird miracle, it seemed as though Jake was just as happy as she was in this moment. She couldn’t stop smiling, something she knew she’d have to correct because Leah was hardly ever caught smiling anymore, unless she was talking to Seth or teasing Jacob or imagining the demise of everyone in the Cullen clan. Really, sometimes she wondered why the bloodsuckers even let her come around the house at all; they must have known that her loyalty to Jake was more powerful than the urge to rip them all to shreds.
As Jake left the room to check for Billy and anyone else who might be around, Leah let herself fall back onto the bed, her head hitting the pillow. She looked at the ceiling and thought about what had happened the night before. The two of them were going to have to be very careful - that was obvious. She was dreading what they’d have to go through but at the same time knowing it was worth it. There would probably be no more shifts with them together, at least near the BloodSucker house. Not unless they could both keep their minds clear around the other, which she doubted was going to be able to happen. They’d have to keep this blocked from the pack as much as possible, though she was sure that if Seth stuck around he’d see through some of it - maybe the part where Jacob didn’t actually hate Leah. It helped that her brother already knew about how Leah felt toward Jake; it would just make things easier.
Jake came back and told her that no one was home. Thank God. Leah wasn’t particularly excited about climbing out of Jake’s window. She’d bet anything that Rachel was with Paul and Billy with Charlie and/or Sue. Jake tackled her and Leah let out a surprised, but not loud, yell. After playfully punching his arm for the tackle, Leah wrapped her own arms around him, content with just lying there until her stomach began to feel like it was going to cave in from hunger. Sometimes, being a wolf just wasn’t romantic. She thought that Jacob must be hungry too, because he actually offered to make breakfast or take her out, which made Leah giggle a bit. She could imagine only too easily Jacob Black in an apron with a spatula. He seemed to make up his mind, not needing her answer, because he told her to get something of Rachel’s to wear.
Despite the fact that he had told her no one was home, Leah held the blanket close to her body as she got up and peaked her head around the door, then made her way quickly to Rachel’s room down the hall. Not knowing, or caring, where they were going, Leah just grabbed the first things she could find, which happened to be a pair of sweats and a grey shirt, and pulled them on. She found a pair of Rachel’s flip flops and made her way back to Jake’s room, throwing the blanket back onto the bed. Jake must already be ready. She ran out of the room and leapt onto his back, pressing her lips to his cheek and then dropping to the floor. “Thought I’d get that out of my system before we go out. Since we’re not going to be able to…” She trailed off, the thought making her sad, but she shook her head and smiled again. “So, where are we going?”

Jake watched as Leah made her way down the stairs, dressed in his sisters clothes. He had to admit, she just looked to cute for her own good. Opening the front door, he let Leah go first. After all, that was the gentleman way to do it. As soon as she made her way out, Jake shut the front door and locked it. He really didn't have too, but it was a security problem. He wasn't about to take the chance of someone busting in and taking his tools. "Locked down, and secure." He smirked. Putting his arm around Leah. But before he could even do that, he was surprised with a kiss to the cheek. Like she had said, it would be a while before they could even show any sort of affection.
Finally getting his arm around her, Jake walked them both to his ninety-nine Chevy Silverado. Being the man he was, Jake decided that putting a little lift on it wouldn't hurt a bit. It actually looked good. It was the first vehicle he had actually got the chance to work on and keep it. Opening Leah's door, He helped her up. It felt good seeing a girl in the passengers seat. Inf act, it was the first time. Closing it behind her, Jake had hurried to the drivers side. Opening his door, he made a step up on the foot lift. Yes, it was high but he loved it. It was manly. "You ready?" He asked, looking over to Leah. Reaching out, he placed his hand under he chin pulling her close to him for a quick kiss.
Placing the keys in the ignition, he turned it rather quickly firing up that horsepower underneath the hood. The loud roar of the exhaust lit up his eyes as he gave it a little gas. The sucker was just plain loud. "Sorry about that." He chuckled, pushing the clutch in. Stick was the only way Jake had wanted the truck to drive. With all his mechanically set brains, he turned it from and automatic to a five speed. It was a long, and frustrating job, but he got it accomplished. Grabbing the shifter, He let up on the clutch and slammed it into first giving it that slight jump. He just couldn't seem to stop smiling at her. Everything was finally perfect. Or so he thought. Renesmee was still in the picture, and nobody knew about them. So it wasn't really all that perfect yet.
The Truck roared out of the driveway and down the long dirt road. As soon as he accelerated, the nice lifted Chevy with the dual exhaust, tore up the gravel- kicking it ever which was but forward. It was amazing. Reaching over, he placed his hand on Leah's and squeezed it tightly. "This is the way I like things to be. I know you and I have to.. well.. take care of some things, but i guarantee it will all get better with time." He glanced to her. "You just have to trust me." Releasing his hand from hers, Jake reached above his head pulling down a white CD that read Steve Earl. To him it was good driving music. Hopefully Leah didn't mind at all. Placing it in the player, he grinned. Coppedhead Road came up blaring in their ears. Just like he had enjoyed it. Grabbing her hand again, he began to yell loud enough so she could hear him. "THIS IS PERFECT!"
Pulling out onto the main highway, Jake hung a left towards town. It was small, and there they wouldn't run into any of the Cullen's. Thank god. Laying the hammer down, Jake tore off yet again. His Cadillac converter louder than earlier. There he noticed, as soon as he had gotten to town, everyone staring in his direction. It had been a while since he had last drove that thing into town. A few younger males waved in his direction as he pulled into the old restaurant. He wasn't sure if he should open the door. But then again, he didn't care, he was going to do it anyway. Squeezing in between two cars, Jake shut the truck down. "Don't move! I'm letting you out. I don't care what people think. Its not like they really know anything." Opening the door, Jake jumped out. Casually making his way to Leah's side. There he opened it up and let her out. No one seemed to be looking anyway.

Leah just shook her head and laughed to herself when Jake locked the door. As if anyone would want to break into the Black house. Billy wasn’t even home so it looked like not even the family wanted to be there. Of course, it had been a really good thing that Billy hadn’t been home, it was just the thought of having to lock a door. La Push was even smaller than Forks and it wasn’t like they wouldn’t be able to hunt down someone if they did break in. But she didn’t say anything about it; she was just too happy to be with him right now. She leaned into him as he put his arm around her. She would have gotten into the car by herself despite her short height, she could have jumped it, but she figured it was just another excuse to have Jake touch her again. Every time they touched chills ran down her neck.
She actually liked the vehicle, a surprise because Leah was more of a sleek and shiny car kind of person, though she’d been known to ride around on four wheelers and motorcycles. She couldn’t deny she was an outdoorsy sort of person. They were heading down the road by now and Jake had taken her hand. It was a miracle he felt the same way about her. Yes, there were things they had to fix. “Like two imprints and a house full of vampires,” she teased, but it was going to work out. She knew Jake was right about that, she just didn’t know when it would work out. Despite how happy she was, Leah was sort of a selfish person, she didn’t want to hide that she was happy. She could maybe get away with convincing people her feelings of elation were because of her imprint. Seth wouldn’t buy it.
It felt a little awkward, waiting for Jake to let her out when she felt like eyes would be glued to them. Maybe it was just her imagination, because when she looked no one seemed to really care. Two people from the Rez were hanging out. That looked shameless enough, right? Leah mentally scorned herself. There was nothing shameful about what she was doing. So she’d slept with Jake. That wasn’t a crime… in the normal world anyway. The world they would have belonged if Renesmee hadn’t been born. But she waited for Jake to let her out and she climbed down from the vehicle. Did it show on her face that she wasn’t a virgin anymore? Could people tell? She certainly felt like people could tell, though she didn’t think she was doing much of anything differently.
You’re just being paranoid, she told herself. No one was going to be able to tell. Not until she was in wolf form at least and there’d be several minds running through her own. She’d have to be careful to block it out. Somehow, Seth would figure it out eventually, whether he wanted to or not. Seth always figured her out. She turned to look at Jake, walking backwards, as they made their way to the doors. “So, this normal Jacob behavior? You know, when we’re not ripping each other’s heads off?” She smirked and turned around before reaching the door and went inside. She looked around the fairly empty small restaurant and the sign that said seat yourself before moving to a place near the back where she didn’t think people would notice them as much. Paranoia again. She slid into the booth and started spinning the salt shaker in circles. “How the hell are we going to keep this a secret?” The question was mumbled and mostly to herself, but she was sure he heard it - another hazard of being a wolf: exceptional hearing.

As they entered the restaurant, Jacob looked around, glancing in all different directions. "This is as normal as I can possibly be." He chuckled. Trying to cover his feelings. A few people had looked familiar, but he paid no attention, quickly making his way to a table. Of course a good handful looked their way, some that had even knew the two of them. Trying his best to hold back his big cheesy grin, it somehow seeped through. It was hard not to show his feelings for Leah. After all, they were right there. Honestly, who couldn't see it? Picking up his menu, he opened it to the breakfast page. Everything had looked so appetizing. Especially the omelets.
Glancing up to Leah, he watched as she began to fidget with everything in her sight. Grabbing the salt shaker, Jake sat it to the side and grabbed her hand. "Calm down, Lee. It will be fine." Quickly thinking, he pulled his hand back away from hers. Hopefully no one had seen that. Chuckling to himself, he leaned back in the booth and crossed his arms. He was trying his best to act the way he did before around Leah, but who was he kidding. He was sure everyone there could see it now. After all, he did just grab her hand in front of a twenty some body's. "You think they noticed the hand grabbing?" He asked quietly, pursing his lips.
Making faces towards Leah, Jacob noticed a waitress making her way towards them. Picking up his menu, he looked to her. 'What can I get for the two of you?' Jacob just smiled, "Well, can I get an Omelet with biscuits and gravy?" The waitress nodded, not taking her eyes off of Jacob. He could obviously tell she was trying her best to flirt, but it wasn't about to happen. 'Of course. Would you like anything else with that?' Jacob looked to the menu again, and decided to take it upon himself to order for Leah as well. "Oh, and she will have the same." Folding his menu up, he handed it over to the girl. She still hadn't removed her eyes from him, even as she walked away.
Shaking his head, Jake grunted. "That girl is a little too creepy for me." He joked, referring to how she had kept staring. It had seemed every time she went to wait on another table, he caught her staring. Jake had found nothing whatsoever attractive about her. "She keeps trying to hard, and plus.. That gap between her teeth, grossed me out." With a big grin, he leaned over the table a bit. "No one compares to you." He said it as quietly as possible, just loud enough for her to hear. He loved Leah. Every second spent with her, brought happiness to him.
As soon as the food had been placed on the table, Jake dove in. He was starving. It had been a long night for the both of them obviously. Even though it was his first, it was the best. Taking a drink of coffee, he sat it down and looked out to the truck. "So what is on your agenda for the rest of the day?" He asked, trying to decide what he was going to end up doing. He really didn't want to spend the day with Rachel, but if Leah had something to do, then well, she had something to do. There was really nothing he could do about it.

It was hard for Leah to not act happy around Jacob. Though everything in her life was probably about to crash down on her, she couldn't help but smile. And she realized that was a bad thing. She shouldn't want to smile around Jacob, not when they were both supposed to be happy with the life they were supposed to have with their imprints. But this was so much stronger, she thought, than how she felt for her human. That didn't mean she didn't care about her imprint, she just didn't feel the same way for him as she felt for Jake. Her and Jake made sense; imprints did not make sense to her. And she had wanted to imprint so bad, back when she thought a relationship with Jacob Black would be imporssible. Now all she wanted was to be near him.
What she wanted more than anything was to feel his skin against hers again, so when he reached for her hand her heart sped up just a bit. And despite the fact that she knew they were going to be in a bunch of trouble when all of this came out in the open, she couldn't help but feel better, especially when he called her Lee. Normally, the shortened version of her already short name would have got on her nerves. Sam had been the first to start calling her Lee Lee, but the nickname sounded right coming from Jake.
Leah frowned as Jake pulled his hand away, and she hesitantly removed her own hands from the table and placed them in her lap, entertwining her own fingers so that she wouldn't be tempted to do anything that might get them into trouble. She did, however, put her feet up on the booth that Jake was sitting on. She figured that was innocent enough. "I don't know," she admitted and looked around to see if anyone had noticed them holding hands briefly. "If they did, maybe they just thought you were comforting me or something." The female werewolf looked up at him from under her eyelashes and then her eyes darted to the waitress who was blantently flirting with the male werewolf sitting directly across from her. Well just great. How much competition did she really need?
She wondered if he had noticed the glare she was giving the waitress, since he said something about how she was kind of creepy. Leah laughed a little and the smile on her face returned. She wondered if she should have been mad that he had ordered for her, but it was kind of sweet, and she didn't know if she could be mad at Jacob right now. They had pretty much had the most perfect night ever, the only problem was that now that they were out in the open, they had to hide everything. In any case, he said that the waitress didn't even compare to her. That was nice, but it made her remember that there was someone who could compare to her. That damn hybrid kid. Jacob had imprinted on the vampire spawn, which meant that Leah might always have to be looking over her shoulder. "Renesmee can." Leah moved so that her back was leaning against the seat, but her legs were still stretched out so that her feet were on Jake's seat.
Pushing a lock of hair behind her ear, Leah sighed. This sneaking around thing was going to be difficult. She put on a smile and straightened up slightly. "I hadn't thought of anything. I think Sue is with Charlie. And Seth is probably out with that thing of his." She made a face at the thought of Seth's imprint. "Maybe laundry?" She laughed a little. "I kind of have some catching up on it to do, so it might be kinda boring, but you can come over if you want. If Seth or Sue shows up, we can always say we're talking about Pack stuff."

As soon as Leah compared herself to Renesmee, Jacob felt his stomach drop into the pit of his stomach. He hated when he had to see her act like that. Yes, he did imprint of Renesmee, but his feelings for Leah were growing so much stronger for her every day. He honestly couldn't stand being away from her. The only time he had ever acted like that was with his hybrid imprint. So obviously, there was more there between them than he would have ever known.
Dropping his fork to the side, Jake turned to look out the window. Why did his life have to be this difficult? Hiding his feelings for Leah was harder than he could have ever imagined. She was right there in front of him, and there was no was he could grab her hand, or even kiss it. Winking was obviously out of the question, since it did seam a little cheesy. Bringing his head low to the plate, Jake glanced up at her. Her deep, dark brown eyes focused on nothing but hers. "Why do you always insist on bringing her up when I'm trying to do my best to make you happy." He whispered quietly under his breath. Did she not see that it tore him up also? He loved them both!
Picking his silverware back up, he tore back into his biscuits like he hadn't ate in months. After all, he did have a long, tiring night, so his appetite was bound to jump sky high. As she spoke about her activities for the day, Jake let off a small sigh. He was hoping she would have said no. But as she continued with the list, he looked up to her. Seth and Sue would find it very odd if he were to show up there. They both knew Leah and Jake never got along. But then again, the pack talk excuse sounded like a pretty good excuse to him. He was willing to do anything to spend a little more time with Leah. But then again, he did have to spend time with Rachel sooner or later.
As soon as he had finished eating, Jake sat his plate aside and looked back over to Leah. "I really do want to spend more time with you, so after I get done spending a little time with Rachel, I will be over to get you. You can count on that." Saying that semi-loud, Jake caught himself and began to lower his voice. A small chuckle escaping his lips as he pulled the truck keys from his pocket. "I'm going to go pay this bill before my mouth gets us into anymore trouble." Making his way out of his seat, he hurried to the front. There, a small dainty old woman took his visa card. Jake wasn't going to allow Leah to pay any bills. Nodding in respect to the nice old lady, Jake headed back to the table.
Before Jake could even take a seat, he noticed who seamed to be Embry and his friends pulling in. Lowering his head, he grabbed Leah's arm. "Lets go." He chuckled yet again. "Embry's here." Pulling her along with him, Jake quickly moved across the restaurant. Hopefully they didn't see him or Leah. Especially his hand on hers. That wouldn't be good at all. Pushing the door open, Jake ducked down, making his way over to the drivers side door of his truck. Reaching above his head, he opened the door and slipped in. His truck was a little obvious to see, but he figured if he could hurry out of the parking lot, they wouldn't pay no attention. Jumping up, Jake placed his keys in the igniton, motioning for Leah quickly. This what he had hated about hiding everything they had. But he didn't want conflict.

Leah felt absolutely terrible almost the minute the words left her mouth. Of course Jake was doing his best to figure things out, it wasn't like they'd planned this, though she had to admit that she would have planned it if she thought of it. And to be truthful, she was being a little hypocritical... okay, a lot hypocritical. She had her own imprint to figure out. What she felt for Jake was much stronger, or maybe different was the word, than what she had with her imprint. In any case, she had some things to sort out herself. Like what she was going to do about her imprint and the fact that last night she'd lost her virginity to Jacob Black, the alpha of her pack. She didn't regret what she'd done with Jake at all, what she was worried about was either hiding it from her imprint or breaking the news that she'd slept with someone else. But at the same time, it wasn't like she'd really been involved with her imprint. Actually, she had distanced herself from him, definitely not typical werewolf behavior. She had things just a little easier than Jake, she guessed.
“I'm sorry, you're right. I shouldn't have said anything,” she whispered. That wasn't typical Leah behavior – to apologize... for anything. Jacob Black was different though – she wanted nothing more than to make him happy. And she could see that she was causing him, maybe not pain, but definitely difficulty. She should not have mentioned the stupid little hybrid. But she couldn't help it. She didn't like to think that there was another woman, another girl even, that had Jacob's attention. She didn't like that, even if the girl was just a child, Jacob cared for her on some level that Leah didn't know if she could compete with. She knew from the moment that she and Jake kissed that she was going to have to end things with Chase, her imprint. But she didn't know how she was going to end that, or if Jake would be willing to do the same thing with Renesmee for her.
She ate in quiet for a little while until Jake said, rather louder than he should have, that he would spend time with her after visiting with Rachel for a bit. Leah smiled, stifling a giggle because of what he said after, that his mouth could get them in trouble. She resisted the urge to tell him other things his mouth could do, but only because they were in a public place and Leah was not a ho, though her sleeping with her alpha after knowing that she has an imprint didn't really work in her favor for that argument. She would have argued with Jake about paying for the meal, but she wasn't even wearing her own clothes at the moment, since she'd met him in wolf form so she didn't have any of her things with her.
Almost suddenly it seemed that Jake's hand was on her, pulling her across the room. She figured out what he was worried about at the same time that he'd said what the problem was. Embry and his friends. Well just great. She didn't want to hide this but she wasn't ready for it to come out yet – not when she knew that the both of them could be torn apart if the Cullens found out. She moved with Jake out to the vehicle and then climbed in. She slouched as far down as she could, making sure her head was low enough that no one would see her through the windows. She had to laugh a little though; this was just too funny.
“If you want, you can drop me off near the woods and I can shift and run home from there so we don't get caught together...” She sighed and rolled her eyes. “Some day, we won't have to hide this...”

Jake pushed in the clutch and slowly eased it into reverse. Even though they were sure to be spotted, he wasn't about to rag on his new truck. He had worked so hard for it to be the way it was. Letting out a small sigh, he let what Leah had said melt into his mind. If only he could be a man and make the decision, but then again, that would possibly cost Leah and himself their lives. That was one thing Jake wouldn't allow to happen to her. And he knew damn well that would rip his heart to shreds. He wasn't sure how Renesmee would react to it. Especially Bella.
Pushing the spit down his throat, Jake pushed his truck into first, then second, and on up from there. He found himself coasting through traffic now. He didn't want to take Leah home at all. All he wanted was to spend the day without her. And in a way, he wished he could show his affection for her and not have to worry about the consequences. Looking in his rear view, he watched the town of LaPush begin to fade away. His heart sinking to the bottom of his chest. Picking up his free hand, Jake reached over and placed it gently on her leg. All he wanted to do was tell her that four letter word. But he knew that they both weren't ready for any of that right now.
Glancing her direction, he shook his head slightly. "And I'm not dropping you off in the woods. I'll take you home like we had planned too." Grinning from ear to ear, he grabbed her hand and squeezed it gently. He was more than in love with Leah, and he just couldn't figure out a way to be able to express it outside of his house or hers without anyone knowing. Biting gently on his lower lip, he revved the engine a bit. "That damn blood sucker Alice is going to find out sometime soon anyway, and I know it. It's only just a matter of time, so we just better prepare ourselves." Thinking again, he flipped on the radio. "Me more than you." And again, he was indeed right.
If the Cullen's were to find out about the two of them, it would be Jake's hide they would tan. That, or he was sure they would kill him. Because, for having an imprint, he should have known better in the first place. But he couldn't stop love! Especially what he and Leah had. Pulling down a long paved country road, Jake hit the gas and took off flying almost. The windows were most of the way down, as that cool summer breeze made its way into is truck. It felt just as good as a daily run, but not any better. He could tell they were already half-way to Leah's house, and he didn't want to take her home. But he had too. Rachel was probably sitting up at the house waiting for him to take her to town.
Pulling off onto another dirt road, Jake began to slow it down. There it lead into a private drive which had belonged to Leah. He could see her house grow closer as he brought the gears down to first. Stopping at the front of her house, he placed it slowly into park and looked over to her. His eyes somewhat glazed. "Remember to call me when you are done with everything." He reminded her, placing his hand on her back. Without hesitation, he brought her closer to him. Placing his hand behind her neck and easing his face closer to hers. He honestly couldn't help but to kiss her yet again.
Easing himself away, Jake sat back in his seat. There was little words that he could say to her. His stomach was yet again filled with nothing but butterflies. Every moment spent with Leah felt amazing. And yes, he loved her.
