Absently hunting

Lan looked at her and shook his head with a soft frown before muttering
"I really don't know Heidi, I ... I really don't know what to do about any of this. HAlf of me says stay here, protect you and do not go anywhere without you, the other part says it is time to hunt the pure ones. If I go after them now ... they will win."

Then he stood up and looked her in the eye, touching her cheek he softly brushed his finger tips over her flesh
"This is all so confusing ... we need help and the only Coven I would approach are the Cullens. So few others follow the diet I am committed to and they are at risk as well as most of them are gifted .."

Heidi nodded, she understood the problem, but what could she do. Heidi took his hand and sighed. '' I need to find the others. Chelsea, Alec, inside they're not dead, they're not, i don't believe they are dead. '' she sighed and looked at him, he wanted to hunt the pure ones. '' you got no chance. They got a girl who can take away your anger and will let you hop like a happy bunny. '' she sighed. Her eyes looking at his, she looked at him and wrapped herself in a hug. '' you go see the Cullens, I bet Carlisle will help you, I got to find Chelsea and Alec. '' she said softly.

Lan looked at her and scowled when she mentioned Alec but he had to swallow his pride and his hate. He hugged her tightly when she curled into his arms and stayed silent for a time before he spoke in a hard resigned tone
"These other Volturi ... are Aro or Caius among them? have you heard any rumors of such..." then he sighed and continued "I will pass up everything for you but .. I doubt they will pas up the chance to clear up loose ends .."

Heidi sighed. She didn't know, if she would know she would say so but she didn't so she wouldn't. '' I got no idea, I really don't know. '' she said softly and looked at him. he was angry and upset. She felt sorry for him, because she couldn't blame him, neither could she blame herself. She walked to the door and sighed. '' I will find my family. '' she spoke softly and walked out the door.

She walked throught the woods trying to find different smells, but none could touch the smell of Chelsea or Alec. They're not here, they must be somewhere. Because deep down inside heidi knew they weren't dead. Not even close to dying.

Lan walked out after her and opened his sense out as far as they could stretch for the old yet familiar scent of Chelsea, he had met her but not many of the others and he caught something. He looked at her and decided it would be best not to tell her yet. He would seek them out soon and see what they were planning before he allowed Heidi to discover them.n He wanted to ensure they weren't going to try for revenge before he let them run into Heidi.

He sighed, if he had to join them to keep her safe he would but he would not let Chelsea manipulate him at all, not even to bond him better to them. He was going to have all of his free will including not groveling at the swine Aro or Caius. He would be bound only by his loyalty to Heidi but first and foremost he had to protect her, he took her hand gently and whispered
"I will seek them out with you and even join them if you ask it of me, now let's head back ..."

Heidi looked at him and shook her head. she couldn't force him at all, she wouldn't. '' I'm sorry Lan, but I got to find them on my own. '' she sighed and kept walking. She wasn't going to give up on them, not in this life. Heidi sighed and walked her way down the streets, the italian beauty doing her thing. the sway of her hips which drove men crazy.

the elegance of her body on her way. She couldn't stop doing it, ti was what she was. She was a huntress and a damn good one too. Heidi looked at Lan and shook her head sadly and kept walking down the crowded streets. She could try and call chelsea but it wouldn't have a use. She sighed sadly and continued walking her way through the crowd.
